Early afternoon, Dayla was in the tavern, but the tavern was quiet. There were a few patrons, a few travelers, and of course there were those staying in the tavern that tended to come and go. Due to the rooms upstairs, Dayla rarely went far from her tavern, she couldn't very well lock up and leave when people were still sleeping upstairs after all. That being said she often would do anything she needed to do during the hours that one of her employees, Alyse, were in. While Alyse didn't tend to serve drinks or help customers much, she was good at not taking **** from anyone. At least the bar was safe when Dayla was away doing the shopping, or just taking a moment to herself. The latter was rare however. As Alyse walked into the Tavern, Dayla nodded her greeting to the other woman but turned her attention to the few customers in the bar. The soup for that evenings supper was simmering in the back room while she worked the front end. One of the gentleman who had rented a room upstairs showed his face for the first time that day. "Afternoon. Sleep well?" She asked trying to be friendly while she poured him the drink that he asked for, while trying not to look concerned that it was the first thing that he was having all day and it was alcohol. "Can I get you anything to eat? You missed breakfast but I can make you something else if you like." Dayla offered. While she waited for an answer, she reached over and filled another mans glass. This man concerned her a little since he was staring at Alyse. That being said if he caused any problems, then there was two of them that could take him on. She might not have looked like it anymore, being a barmaid now, but Dayla had once upon a time been quite the hunter. One annoying man did not bother her. It had been a while since her days among the Scoia'tael, but Dayla still kept up with some of her basic training in the morning, and she always kept her saber under the counter. It was not her preferred weapon of choice, but indoors long bows were not ideal. Behind the tavern, Dayla tended to practice with both weapons in the early morning. As a so called "other" of the town, it was always best to keep her defenses up. Not everyone was pleased with having Elves around, like not everyone was pleased with having werewolves around. That was why the tavern was created, for people who were outsiders. It had become home to her and many others it seemed and it felt like a small atonement for some of the things she did while in the Scoia'tael that she was not so proud of. Just days ago did he finish. Just days ago he became a full witcher. Now Aaron was mounted on the back of Rain, his trusty horse that had been with him since he survived the trials. Now he was on his way home at last, back to Novigrad. The first thing that Aaron wanted to do was go and visit his sister, but he had promised. He promised her that he would come back and repay her for everything that she had done for him. Every copper that she had spent on him. As it stood he couldn't do that. While it was advised that he remained in Kaer Morhen, trained a little more and wait out the winter, Aaron chose to return home. He planned to make some money and then he would find his sister. However until the money was in hand he would keep himself out of sight from his sister. He loved her but he didn't want her to convince him to stay home for a while and not get a chance to earn the money to pay her back. One day he wanted to travel the world, and see it all. He wanted to explore, it was part of the reason that he wanted to become a witcher. However being his first time out as a witcher, he felt more comfortable getting a job close to home, close to what he knew before he adventured out. Dismounting Rain, Aaron found a stable just inside the town. Dropping a few copper into the stable boy's hand, he left Rain in his care, choosing to walk the familiar streets of the city. As he did so his heart ached to return to the area that his sister lived, but as he came to a crossroads, turned the other way, making sure to stay away from his old home and the brothel where his sister had worked when he left. He hoped that she didn't still have to work there, but the last he had heard from her, she had been stuck in a cycle of debt. With sadness in his heart he walked the other way. Aaron knew that he needed to find work, but decided to put that off until another day, perhaps the following day. This day however was for remembering the town he left behind long ago. Passing through the streets, Arron noticed a young woman leaving her cottage, but what caught his eye was what looked to be a building project behind her. Having traveled for several days without any form of interaction besides talking to Rain, Aaron felt talkative and decided to approached the woman. "So what is it that you are working on over there? Winter isn't the ideal time for new building projects." He tried to joke in a light hearted manner as he watched another snowflake fall between them. There was a warm smile on his face as he spoke, witcher or not, Aaron had been known to have a kind heart, perhaps too kind at times. There was a rule of payment for witchers, but Aaron knew that it would be hard for him to ask for money at times, not when people were in rough conditions. Now however it wasn't about the money, he just felt like conversation.

Kiara eyed all the people in front of her, most choosing to ignore her. One acknowledged her, then waved her off like it was nothing, while the other asked her name. At first Kiara was slightly surprised that anyone would care, but eventually she settled in a bit more and responded, her voice cold as she spoke. "Kar-Kiara." She informed the girl before turning back to Lea who had brought her there. He decided to speak up again himself and to Kiara it felt more like a ramble than a speech. He had only gotten about half way though it before Kiara decided to interrupt him. "So you want us to do the dirty work while Beuce and all those other keyblade wielding idiots get the glory?" She clarified, sounding bitter about the entire thing. She clenched her fists tight trying to hold back the new found fire as she spoke. As Lea finished his speech, Kiara then gave in to a more proper response on what she would do about things. She might not have been happy about her role, but she wasn't going to continue running either. "It is ironic, by taking a stand, I am still running. But you know I can only afford to run from one thing at a time, and my father has that spot filled, so I suppose that leaves me with one option." She replied leaning against the nearest wall, surveying the group. She had a feeling she knew how everyone else would respond, after all they were already there, but it would still be interesting to hear their motives if they cared to share.
Chrono didn't say much after she had explained what happened. Tinarah was starting to convince herself that he was mad at her. Even as he responded that he would have to thank Choma, she still felt like she was in trouble, shrinking down into herself more. Her eyes shifted down to her hands, that were trembling slightly as she held tight to her violin case, waiting for everyone else to arrive. She watched as the other people she met came through one at a time... all but one. From the look on Choma's face, she had a feeling Aria wasn't coming at all. Listening to Choma talk, Tinarah got more upset. Things sounded grim and she was getting a sinking feeling that she wouldn't be able to help, that she wasn't good enough. The worlds were falling to darkness, and what of people like her father? Was her home world falling too? Was he going to die like those people she had just left? Unsure Tinarah looked to Chrono to see how he reacted to all that was being said. However before she could get a clear read of what he was thinking, Choma went to leave, claiming that he had to recruit more people if they were to have a hope of winning. Fear struck Tinarah`s heart thinking of him leaving. She knew he was strong, she felt safe when Choma was around helping train her and keeping her safe. Even with Chrono she didn't feel completely safe. Putting her violin down beside the rock she was leaning against, Tinarah got up and ran to Choma grabbing one of his hands with both of hers. "Please don't leave us yet." She begged of him. She didn't really have the words or voice to go on with why. After how shaky she still was from the battle and what she told Chrono, she didn't want to talk more, but she didn't want to lose something else she viewed as safe. She always needed to surround herself with things that made her feel safe, or else she had trouble getting herself to do the simplest things, especially when it came to social interactions.
Tinarah will take an AP boost please
My soul, it hurts. I understand why, but it hurts. Who else will I strive to one day beat now if not you. Fair well my long time rival and friend, I knew thee well. But yes in all honesty the game itself gave me no reason to play, what I found fun was playing with and against friends and even that could feel like a drag at time. Save your wallet the pain and uninstall.
Running his figures through his hair again and again, Cerdic tried to clear his head, tried to organize his thoughts. He didn't like Daeni, that was an easy one. Her love for her would never be reciprocated, so hopefully she would give up eventually and it not be a big deal. However there was also what Ria said to him, the voice they said it in. It had shaken him right to the core and now he was wandering confused and too scared to even face a young girl who seemed to think herself older. How was that even possible? He was better than this, he had to be better he was... He was nothing, he was useless, he would never get approval. The words played over in his mind like a record stuck on loop, sometimes jumping to Daeni's confession. Cerdic was pretty much lost at this point. It wasn't like he really knew where he was going in the first place, but now that was just getting worse. He was going to give up and turn around to see where the others were, however before he could a girl come running to him, trying to hid behind him asking for help. She then asked if he was a hero, and Cerdic straightened up a little bit. "Um... well, yes. I suppose you can say that I am a hero." Cerdic at first sounded confused but gained confidence as he spoke. "Yeah, just hide with my friends back there, I can clear the way for you and we can help you to the sanctuary where you will be safe." Cerdic assured her, stepping up summoning his keyblade. "Just watch this." He gave her a little wink before jumping forward facing the heartless.

As Blake and Kuro walked through the streets, a girl ran down an ally not too far from them, giggling. She hesitated long enough to see if they were following before running a little further. From there she tried to duck between shadows, get them a little lost and confuse. Once she was sure that she was out of sight, the girl perched herself on a roof top, this time staying nice and quiet as she watched them for a moment. "Not you..... Not you either. You both aren't good enough." She decided mumbling to herself. "I wonder who else I can find?" She questioned running across the roof tops again, searching for other students, humming to herself as she ran. She knew that they didn't need to grab anyone else. Between her Daniel, they had got the people that they had aimed to get, however Eliana was not satisfied, not yet at least. They were both too old. She knew why Daniel wanted them, but their targets were too old for her. She wanted a friend to have fun with. The two down below seemed too boring. She needed someone more fun. "Eliana, we should go. It should take them a good long time to break through the spell, we have work to do." A man standing on a nearby roof addressed the girl running around. "But those two are so boring. Just a couple more, please?" She begged and the man sighed. "Fine. I am going to check on the other two though, try not and get into too much trouble until I get back." The man instructed before walking off, leaving the girl to have her fun.

Alyse Who will you fight for? No one really, may support the Scoia’tael What is your history? Dayla spent much of her life serving and supporting the Scoia’tael. She knew how to shoot a bow and hunt before she knew how to read. She was seemed to be a natural fighter in her early years, she was more than happy to let her life with the Scoia’tael shape her, for many years. However over time she got sick of violence, of fighting for what seemed to be nothing. It felt like they were moving nowhere even though she often found herself in difficult or dangerous situations in order to further the cause. Finally Dayla gave up and ran away. Many weren’t happy with her leaving, some upset because they were her friends, and some were upset because they feared her selling their secrets. While cities were not her favourite place, Dayla took up home in the city of Novigrad. She opened a tavern in one of the slums of the city, a welcoming place for people who felt as out of place in Novigrad as she did. That was where she decided to remain, soon settling and even hiring help. She traded in her bow and saber for brewing tools and cooking utensils, priding herself in the food and drink she served in her tavern. What are your weapons of choice? Long bow, Saber Who is your puppeteer? Aelin Fireheart

Small spaces, helplessness, and something happening to his sister while he is gone You love... Tame animals, exploring, helping people You may have heard of them.... Veceslav, Derrick Who will you fight for? Neutral What is your history? Aaron was the youngest of two. He spent his younger years growing up in the care of his parents in Novigrad. When he was five, his mother passed away of illness, leaving his father to take care of both Aaron and his older sister Tatiana. Aarons father fell into a great depression after his wife’s death and barely managed to provide for his family. Tatiana was the one who would take care of the house, despite her being a child herself. Three years after their mother’s death, Aaron’s father left the house one day and never came back. It was a quick spiral from there into complete poverty. Aaron had to watch as his older sister found work doing the only thing that anyone would hire her for, she sold her body in order to get enough money to feed the two of them. Aaron was too young to be of any use providing for them, occasionally he would beg in the streets, but that was rare. He would watch as monster hunters called Witchers would come into the city and take jobs. They always seemed well enough off, always seemed to have money, and were always strong. Aaron told his sister about these men, and how he wanted to be one. Eventually she begged a witcher to take Aaron back for training, even offering to pay for it. Over time an agreement was made and Aaron left to train as a witcher. He trained hard after that, always wanting to make his sister proud, show her it was worth his sacrifice, and when he was strong enough he planned to return for her and protect her from any more harm. What are your weapons of choice? Silver Longsword, Steel Longsword Who is your puppeteer? Aelin Fireheart
Tinarah had found herself a rock to press her back against while she sat there crying, not really looking up or observing the cave. She didn't care, it didn't matter where she was. She was frightened and she was upset that she had to leave all those people. She wanted to help, she wanted to save them, but it had hurt. It had hurt when the tremors knocked her to the ground, and she knew it would hurt a lot more if it had hit her. Tinarah had never really done well with pain, but she had to at least try to be strong if she could, right now though her small amount of strength was failing her. There was a shadow that covered her and as Tinarah looked up she noticed her brother bending down by her, handing her her violin. "Thanks." Tinarah said quietly as she reached up and took the violin holding it close to her chest, still crying, but it quieted more. Just having it with her made Tinarah feel a little better, not more safe, but it was something else to think about. Chrono however didn't offer any more comforting words, instead asking about her scars. Tinarah retracted her hands slightly glancing at the scars that marred them. "I-I don-" Tinarah tried to tell her brother that she didn't want to talk about it, but she knew that Chrono wouldn't leave it, and didn't like lying to her brother. "When I was looking for you... Well I was in a city and I got lost... I wandered out of the main busy area and found myself wandering allies trying to get back. The men... they cornered me. I tried to use my keyblade, but they just kicked it out of my hand with ease. I-I was terrified and froxe. They grabbed my arms and tied them. They tried to hurt me. I tried to get away but I didn't get far, the rope they bound my hands with, they held the other end and when he yanked it, it got tighter. I thought..... I thought..." Tinarah couldn't finish her sentence as she started to cry more at the memory. "Choma found me.... saved me." She added at the end so he wouldn't worry.

"I know. I am sorry to have to come here to ask." Aeradel told the older woman when she explained many were not fit to fight here. Aeradel gave a respectful bow of her head, not even she believed herself above the elders here. This was not her lands, she wouldn't treat it as such. As the lady then called for Reva, Aeradel took a step back. "Thank you, Ma'am." She said before turning towards the direction that Reva was coming from, watching the woman who had helped her once before approach her and the elder. Just the tone she responded to the elder in, even in her hoarse voice, Aeradel knew that this wasn't going to be easy convincing Reva to join them, however Aeradel didn't expect it to be. When she met Reva before she could tell how strong headed she was, and Aeradel respected that, it was part of the reason she wanted to recruit her, especially after meeting up with the lot she had gotten when she had called for aid. As the rest of her party spoke Aeradel sighed, they weren't helping. Trying to deny what Reva said was not a reasonable approach, especially since she was right. That being said, they couldn't ignore the problem altogether either. Turning to her party she tried to not sound too annoyed. "Can you two stop talking please. Let me handle this one." She begged. She then turned to Reva. "I know. Reva I know this is a fools task, but there isn't many options left. If there was another way, if it was possible to just hide and pretend none of this was happening, don't you think I would do that instead of trying to rise an army. I would do anything to protect my siblings, I don't want to drag them into this, but I don't have a choice.... we don't have a choice. Every day it sounds like the demons are growing more brutal. They are dragging people out of their house and killing them in the streets with less and less reason to do so. We can't live like this any more." Aeradel pleaded with the girl. However Reva already dismissed herself. "Stay here. I will be back." Aeradel ordered the others before walking off. "Reva, please listen to me." Aeradel said chasing after the girl, but waited until she was far enough away from the others to talk without being interrupted. "I am sorry have to ask more of you, but I need you help. Please. Not many would answer my call, but I have to continue on now anyways. I am sure it has gotten out that I am alive, or at least rumors. They will be looking for me. My only hope is to free magic. And if you ever want this village to be safe, if you ever want to befriend your dragons that you share this land with again, you have to help me. I don't know if I can do it with just the few of us." Aeradel continued to plea her case before glancing over her shoulder at her siblings. "Please just tell me what I can do to get you to join us. I just... I want to see Rayen smile again, hear Andrus speak. Just... please consider it." With that she turned back and started to head towards the group she left behind. As expected, Rayen didn't speak during the conversation between her sister and people of the village. Rayen remained close to her sister, but not close enough to appear that she was hiding. Andrus had perched himself on her shoulder, keeping a vigilant eye out for anything off. While normally he would be flying around causing trouble, the moment that Aeradel stepped away from the group, he seemed to be more vigilant, worried even. Rayen looked from her brother then to the others, and for the first time addressed them directly, though her voice small and shy. "Do you think that anyone will actually help us? Or is this really a fools task? Will I have to watch someone else die?" A quiet, grim question that had Andrus tilting his head looking at her, concerned. After another peak around to make sure it was safe, Andrus flew off, leaving his twin sister with the group of strangers, knowing that their older sister was not far off, nothing to hurt her. Circling around the village, Andrus found someone who was creating something out of flowers. The moment they were not looking, he swept in and grabbed a flower in his beak before he few off, so that they couldn't catch him. He then collected a few pebbles in his talons and began stacking them at Rayen's feet. When he collected about ten pebbles in a stack he placed the flower on top and bowed his head. He had seen Rayen do similar before when she was upset, often watching from a distance. He knew his sister enough to know what it was, a memorial. When she spoke of death he knew she was thinking about their parents again, so he built the memorial there for her, so she knew she wasn't alone. It was the only way he knew how to communicate it to her. Rayen soon knelt in front of it herself, not caring if the others were there, and offered up a small prayer to her parents for the safety of them and their companions.
It was a relief as the heartless disappeared, but things weren't over yet. She looked around and spotted Frollo on the top of the bell tower with Quasimodo and Esmeralda. Aislinn instantly went tense when she realized there was no way that she could get up there in time. Her breath caught in the back of her throat as she watch Quasimodo nearly fall, only hanging on by Esmeralda's grasp. "No!" Aislinn shouted out as she took a step forward still knowing that she couldn't do anything to help.. The sword was over Esmeralda's head but there was no way that she could stop this from happening. However by some miracle that she could see, Frollo left as Phoebus arrived and saved Quasimodo. Relief filled her seeing this and she finally let herself let her keyblade go. Turning back to the group she noticed a keyhole. There was a look of confusion on her face when she saw it at first, but she watched as Ananta used her keyblade and it disappeared. Aislinn didn't bother asking about it however instead turning to Stratos. "Good job partner. It was a pleasure working with you." She said with a smile having a feeling that this mission was now over.
Daeni's words were drowned out by the frantic beating of Cerdic's own heart as well as the whispers of the heartless that were surrounding him. He couldn't move, didn't care to move at all. He was going to let the heartless consume him, let it destroy him. It was better than letting Ria get their hands on him again. He couldn't take any more of this mental torment, didn't know what to do about any of it. However before the heartless could do too much harm to him Daeni had fought her way over to him and stood over him speaking. The first four words out of her mouth was enough to turn Cerdic's stomach. The rest of what she said did not click in his mind as he stood up slowly. "I need... I need space." He said before taking off in the other direction like something seriously spooked him. Cerdic was not very good with commitment, the words she spoke didn't sit well with him. It was bad enough when a girl he hit on or dated said that. Whatever they had going generally ended pretty quickly after, but Cerdic didn't even like Daeni that much and he didn't remember her enough to care for her as even a friend. He was here with her because they were in the same situation and he knew that it was partly his fault, he was stupid and couldn't stop it. That was not enough though to build emotions on. She was too young for him anyways. Cerdic couldn't imagine how she had come to the conclusion that she loved him. It was too much for him to take, so once again Cerdic was running, trying to clear his mind while letting the others deal with the heartless.
╔════»Shocked Arian let out a low chuckle at the response the girl gave him. There was a light in his eyes, true enjoyment from her statement and not just the fake smile he tended to put on for girls. "I wouldn't be surprised of that either. Sounds about right. He doesn't look all that pleased, all it would take is one bad drink to make a happy drunk into a grumpy drunk." Arian joked back, this time a little louder than he had intended but not realizing it at that point in time. He was simply having fun with the conversation, not really thinking about how loud he was talking or the possible consequences of what he was joking around about. »The smile faded being replaced but a red face as the girl spoke again pointing out that he was the one the didn't introduce himself before, and then threatening to tell all girls that he was a liar. The other boy then piped in suggesting they should make it his unofficial name. Arian was slightly flustered, his ears going back laying nearly flat as he he rubbed the back of his neck. "Hey come now, you don't have to go to those lengths. You could have just asked." Arian's tail swished behind him as he took a long breath before speaking again. "My name is Arian Ra-... Just call me Arian." Arian had cut himself off before saying his last name. He didn't know if anyone at Beacon would know of his family, didn't know if anyone paid that much attention to the Faunus, but in case they did, he didn't want anyone expecting anything of him because of his family. He had enough of that back home, here he wanted to prove who he was outside of his family, so if that meant not giving out his family name, then so be it. ════╝
The battle raged on and Tinarah did her best to keep up with it. However as she did she glanced up only to notice Choma and Atmos falling from the sky, the portal like thing still not closed. "Master!" She called out taking a step away from Torrin, but knowing that there was nothing that she could do to help. Fear crossed her face as a hopelessness settled in. Among all these people she had felt somewhat safe, it was okay with her brother there and with the other students. Tears stung her eyes as she stopped, her keyblade now loose at her side, staring at the chaos as more heartless poured out of the rip in the sky and down towards them. A large fist appeared from the hole and Tinarah was frozen in fear as it came down, impacting the earth. The sudden shock wave caught Tinarah slightly off guard. Unable to keep her balance she fell back on her but, stunned for a moment. However as she looked back at the heartless swarm she forced herself onto her feet, cringing slightly at the bruises she had got from falling. It was nothing bad, but just the fact she had gotten hurt again bothered her. When Tinarah was back on her feet she summoned her keyblade back to her hand, trying to steady it, though she was shaking bad enough that it wasn't working as well as she had hoped. The fear was written all over her face. Torrin had told them to run, and at first Tinarah didn't know where to. She couldn't imagine anywhere being all that safe, and this time she didn't have anyone to save her. Both her brother and Master Choma were hurt, they wouldn't be able to protect her this time. Seeing a portal appear not too far from her Tinarah knew that was where they needed to go, before Choma even spoke. She glanced to Chrono, then to Torrin who had gone off to help Mika. Tinarah started towards the portal but stopped when she was right in front of it, looking behind it at the people who were in running in the chaos. She didn't want to leave them and looked upset as she looked at all the innocent people. However as another heartless lunged at her, Tinarah knew that she couldn't stay, knew that she was too weak to save these people. All she would get by staying was more pain. She couldn't do that, not again. Instead of sticking around she knew that she would have to run. Tinarah ran through the portal, but barely made it to the other side before she found a spot to sit down, crying soon after, out of both fear and guilt for leaving those people.
