They weren't moving along as fast as Aislinn would have hoped. They needed to get out of there and to a more secure area, but here two of the members were fighting, one even punching the other before they left. Aislinn might not have understood why the tension was so high, but she did know that this wasn't a good thing. Of course Ananta couldn't just take it and let the situation drop, instead she insisted on following Kaida through the portal. At least they were both through now, but likely still fighting on the other side about this Aux person and defending him or what not. As far as Aislin knew he wasn't that bad of a person, rude but not horrible. That being said she had only a short conversation with him. These people must have met him before however to react like this to the situation. Counting silently to herself as each person entered the portal, Aislinn waited until they were all through before stepping through to the other side herself. By the time she made it, Kaida was trying to pick up all her stuff that was scattered everywhere. Ananta seemed to be trying to help, but Kaida quickly got distracted by what seemed to be a voice recorder. At least it got everyone's attention off the argument that they were having. Aislinn took slight interest in it, but instead of thinking about it too much, Aislinn knelt and helped Kaida organize the rest of her stuff, folding and stacking the remainder of her items next to her backpack, but leaving it for Kaida to put it away. "Should you be listening to it here? You don't know what is on it, what if it is private?" Aislinn pointed out as a general observation. If they chose to listen anyways she wouldn't stop them, it was simply something to think about.
Cerdic followed quietly, in his own mind he was ranting about being dragged along and how stupid this entire idea was. He couldn't stand the thought of walking straight into danger, but here he was following Alder and the others because he couldn't stand to just up and leave. His anger just made things worse however given he had become less observant while he was wrapped up in his own thoughts. While the first tunnel was long and straight he wouldn't put it passed himself to become lost if they came across numerous tunnels in the time ahead. Every time there was noises from above, Cerdic found his keyblade in his hand ready to fight off the attack he was so sure that was coming. Each time nothing happened and they kept moving forward through the dark tunnels, which Mora later apologized for. They had passed through a room with beds, and while the beds looked inviting Mora was right saying that it wasn't the time, Cerdic also knew that he wouldn't have been able to rest even if they stopped. They weren't safe enough they needed to keep going, just deal with the situation before they got comfortable. Going ahead they entered another tunnel that happened to be lined with disk like objects. Cerdic spared them a glance, but didn't give it too much of his time as he felt the need to keep his eyes ahead and behind them, instead of on odd trinkets that were around. He did however catch some of what Mora was saying though, and her phrasing seemed odd at times. "What do you mean that the world was bigger, a world doesn't just shrink, perhaps the amount of people shrunk, but if that is the case, why would that been. I mean for there to be a substantial difference, there would have to be clear current evidence or it would take quite a bit of time. While Ria is a lot of things, I don't imagine them to be immortal, so that leaves the question, what chased all the people away? Is there a bigger problem here that we are failing to see?" Cerdic pondered aloud.
Come January comes up to six years of video editing for me, so coming to this, and trying to get myself to edit a little more, I remade the first AMV I ever made. In this process I tried to hang on to the essentials that I had in the original video, hold true to what I was doing in it. I stuck to the basic editing styles trying not to use too many overlays or fancy transitioning. Instead deciding to fix it by adding more scenes to replace longer scenes and small details like that. So without further adieu, Old: vs New:
I am excited to announce the KHV Chorus officially has a new youtube channel that can be found here, where all our new content will be uploaded. I have uploaded Come Little Children there earlier this evening and have linked the new location of the video in the Come Little Children thread.
The man mumbled something about Hikaru not being that special. Aislinn just gave him a bit of a shrug. "I didn't say he was all that special, just stating what I have observed while working with him in the last world. I am sorry I can't offer much more information, but it isn't like you bothered to share anything about yourself either." Aislinn scolded the boy slightly in reply. She wasn't actually all that mad but she did feel like making a point about it, and the fact of the matter was, he wasn't a polite young man so she didn't feel bad about not having all that much information to give him about Hikaru, she couldn't even understand why he was curious about that of all things. As they were talking a man showed up in the room and started to spout some nonsense about the test, and math. His speech patterns were really weird and hard to follow, but she did her best. It wasn't like she could hear anything over him, not when he was shouting into a megaphone. As he spoke one person tried to interrupt the man, and the next thing they all knew the boy was gone. Aislinn looked concerned about this, but didn't speak up yet, not when the man just made someone outright disappear for speaking. Her chest squeezed tight as she thought about his possible fate. People didn't like her saying she wasn't comfortable with them, a group of kids going into something so dangerous, but this was exactly why she had said it. Hopefully they everyone else would learn from that mistake however. It wasn't like they were given much of a choice however when they were paralyzed. Clearly this man was smart enough to know that as a group of keyblad wielders, they wouldn't have let him get away with that. Then as he was talking the appearance of the rude young man beside suddenly changed and this seemed to shock people, and not in the way that the sudden change was just weird, but they seemed to have known him before. Aislinn looked slightly confused at the situation. The boy who's appearance changed also seemed a little unsure of what was going on here. He also seemed to know Hikaru, the same person he was just questioning her on. The situation was getting more and more confusing as time passed. She didn't quite under who this boy was or what his relationship was with the others, but Aislinn got the feeling it was complicated. It sounded like they were about to be released from their paralyses when someone else walked in the room and froze the loud mouth as well. At least they were helping solve that situation, it was somewhat of a relief. The man ended up getting away pretty easily but the other person assured them that he, along with Glen would be found. The fact they had to find Glen however left Aislinn worrying for his safety. The man then approached the person now known as Aux who was standing beside her. Aislinn gave this new person a sidelong glance assessing them. She didn't trust him either, but at least she trusted him more than she trusted the other loud mouth. He however transported Aux away as well and Aislinn struggled against her paralysis. "What are you going to do to him?" But before long the man also disappeared, but not before informing them this counted towards the overall progress and pointing them to their way out. The situation around them was tense. Hikaru seemed sad, Kaida was pretty much yelling, AJ also seemed a little upset. The tension in the room was high and Aislinn knew only half of it, even so they couldn't stay there forever. "Come, we should go. We can figure this out once we are out of here, but as long as we are here, there is nothing stopping them from doing the same to us, as we are still in this weird form." Aislinn pointed out not really knowing what the digital form was in full but getting the general concept. She started towards the teleportation pad but didn't step on it, instead waiting to usher everyone else on it before following behind them herself.
Alder's fist connected with Cerdic's face, and Cerdic made no attempt to stop him. He stared down the other man as his jaw throbbed. "Feel better now? If you are so convinced to walk straight into suicide I won't stop you." Cerdic said coldly as he watched Alder chase after Chrys who was dragging Mora away. "I won't let you walk into this suicide mission alone either. No one deserves to die alone." Cerdic added afterwards. Starting after Alder, although lagging behind he thought about what he was doing. He might have had his scrapes with the guy, they never really go along too well, but Cerdic was not going to let him walk to his death on his own. Sure Chrys was there but Cerdic didn't trust Chrys too much. Chrys was distant and could be brash at times. Perhaps at one point he was friends with the man but Cerdic couldn't remember it much. For now he just saw him ad another person who was there. At least he knew Alder a bit better. Going was something for him not anyone else and not Chrys.
Unfortunately he was unable to get his manacles around the mans neck, instead the man grabbed his hands. Aaron struggled to get free again. He was thankful his signs didn't require full movement of his arms as he cast Quen on himself. It wasn't necessarily considered the most powerful sign, but it was the one that Aaron took his time perfecting the most. Derrick had is Axii, and Aaron had his quen. It was second nature to him to use that sign first. However observing the sparks on his hand it might have been a good thing. Aaron hadn't really been overly exposed to sorcerers, so this was new for him. He needed to think fast. With Quen active, he then moved back to the offensive, taking advantage of his legs being free. bringing his knee up and around he tried to knee Thorvald in the stomach. He wasn't going to extend his leg fully, that was just going to end up with the man catching his leg. No different then fighting any other human after all. If he could at least stun the guy it would give a chance for him to run at the very least.
╔════»The first person who joined was Aalis, who looked rather excited for the concept of food. He was happy to have her along. She seemed like an interesting person, good company after all, her weird semblance and all. In fact the semblance made things more interesting. Interesting was good, it was a good distraction from everything that was going on. As they walked though, Aalis stopped as she put a hand on his shoulder, he looked at her curiously as she started mumbling something about watermelons. What that was about he didn't know, but soon she sneezed and then started glowing. He considered telling her that that was happening, however he then decided it was more fun to not, and see how it would go. There was a sly smile on his face as he continued to walk forward. Sure they would get some weird look, but he was a faunus that was to be expected, the glowing blue thing would only add to it but that was okay. »Soon after the boy from before walked up behind them as well. Well free food always brings people out he supposed, though he still didn't know who the man was. Arian glanced over to Aalis to see if she had any clue about him, but before he could bother asking about it, Lloyd came out, first commenting on Aalis. "Hey don't ruin the joke, that is no fun." Arian joked laughing as he turned to Lloyd. "Glad you dragged your butt to join us. I was worried you would brood all night."Arian joked with the leader of his group. He was happy to be able to have this light hearted conversation with Lloyd. When they first met things weren't going this well, so the change was good. »Thankfully Lloyd took lead introducing them to the new kid. While Arian pretended that he was charismatic, but starting another normal conversation with a person was a little hard. He didn't know how to find out who he was or what he was doing here without being very, very blunt. Arian was the kind of man to ask someone outright the questions he had, but a part of him told him that was not a good idea right now. So letting Lloyd talk Arian took the lead getting them a tab rolling. Walking up to the bar he put his credit card down and flashed the bartender a smile. "Start a tab on this, it will be for us and these fine friends here, as well as any of the other people you saw us with earlier. It is all on me. Now could I get a steak and a mug of your finest Ale?" Arian asked. He knew that he wasn't old enough to be drinking, but he did at home with his parents and he really hoped that he could get away with it now, hopefully he wouldn't be ID'd.════╝ As they all entered their own rooms, Auburn retreated to hers. It wasn't that she was tired or anything, she was actually pretty wide awake, but she didn't feel like going back out. Making sure that her door was locked, Auburn moved to her bed and sat down toying with her phone. She looked at the picture of her background, her and her father. Auburn just sat there for a moment before finally punching in a number to her phone. She listened to it ring several times and then her fathers familiar voice asking her to leave a message, followed by a beep. Auburn didn't start speaking right away, she considered hanging up, but knew if she did that her father would worry even more, so finally she started to leave a message. "Hey dad, it is me. I am just calling to let you know I am safe. I wish you were here, they could really use your help. We are in Mistral now. I met the Air guardian today.... And the fire guardian. We tried to fight her but it didn't work so well. We had to flee the school and they say that we have to help in this effort to help stop the guardians and the person who seems to be controlling them. I don't know why us though. We are barely first years. Where are you dad? Why can't you handle this. You know all these important people, everyone knows you, why can't you be here, why does it have to be me? I don't know what to do and I am struggling to get to know the other students. Being thrown into this mess just makes it harder. Please call back soon. Love you." Click. Auburn hung up the phone just in time to hear the Faunus boy call out offering to buy food. Unlike him she actually took her time and ate her food during the meeting, it was a good distraction to keep her hands from shaking after all. She didn't need food and she certainly didn't need more interaction with her fellow students. Maybe going out there would help her fit in more, but she didn't feel like putting that effort in. She didn't know how to make friends with these people, and sh wasn't good at talking with people. Usually she ended up just listening to other people talking, and that got her nowhere. If she was going to sit in silence she may as well sit in silence in her room. In the mean time Auburn took out a wet stone. Her weapons didn't really need sharpened, but it was good to keep the edge, especially if they were going to have more fights like they did earlier that day. She needed to be prepared for anything.

As they walked away Kara lectured him on poking at his wounds, Lucian rolled his eyes but was forced to stop as Kara grabbed his hand and to drag him away. He pulled his hand free of hers as she mentioned steeling someones sheets to clean his wounds with. That sounded like a terrible idea. Instead Lucian had a terrible, but slightly less terrible idea. "Yeah yeah, I got this." He mumbled as he pulled his shirt over his head and held the soft cloth to his face, patting his swollen lip and holding it to his nose to absorb the blood for a bit. It wouldn't be the first time his shirt became his bandage. It was efficent in a way to use his shirt, however often times he would lose it shortly after, or in this case, as they rounded another corner he tossed it in a bush, but not before ripping a smaller portion off. The bleeding had subsided but not stopped yet, his shirt however already had several spots of blood and was looking bad. Holding the entire shirt made it too hard to see and talk, so he would make shirt with a smaller bit of it. As they got a little closer Kara went on about not telling anyone about this place. "My word as a constabulary means nothing, but my word as a fantastic drunk, maybe. Either way I swear I won't tell anyone. Hell I don't know if I will remember my way here come morning." Lucian stated as she lead him the rest of the way to her current quarters and followed her to her room. ~~Time skippidy Skip~~ Sitting around in Kara's room the bleeding had finally stopped and his mind started to clear. "Hey got anything to drink, I am getting that feeling, you know the one you get when you start sobering up." Lucian commented to Kara, really just wanting booze. He still had no shirt on at all and didn't seem to care. His jacket was thrown on her bed and his weapons sat in a corner where he couldn't somehow manage to hurt himself on them while in this state. As they sat there however he heard a voice echo through the halls. "I think your dad is home." He observed. The man actually sounded too young to be her dad but it was one of few logical solutions he could think of at the time... "Or brother. Whoever the hell he is do you want me to take care of them?" Lucian was still itching for a fight, and while a distant part of his mind told him that was a horrible thing to say, he didn't seem to care at that point. He was having a bad day and simply wanted to punch someone, and win this time. Upon finishing her coffee Mirela paced the city for a while before finally deciding it was pretty close to the time for her meeting and went back towards the manor that she had marked earlier to be the place the meeting was taking place. As she approached a lovely woman came to greet her. Mirela looked down at her own grease stained outfit. She really owned no fine clothes, not as fine as this woman was wearing. Mirela couldn't help but take in the intricate mechanism around her eye. In the end it caught her attention more than anything else about the woman, more than the foreign accent or her beautiful tattoo. As Mirela stopped in front of the woman, she couldn't hide the beaming smile on her face. "Yes I am Mirela. Did Mr. Gallahowe really tell you about me? All good things I hope. But why wouldn't they be? Anyways it is a pleasure to meet you Mrs. Gallahowe. I have been looking forward to attending this meeting all day you know!" Mirela rattled on her pleasantries, or at least her attempt at pleasantries. She wasn't very good at them but at least she tried. Normally Mirela would offer her hand, but looking at her cloths and such she was scared she might have missed scrubbing off a bit of grease, and she wouldn't want to get this nice woman's cloths all dirty now, would she?
Everyone was either talking or helping Ignis. The other group had finally returned from their trials. A quick survey of the group had Aislinn believing that they might have, once again gotten smaller. However she couldn't quite put a fingur on who was missing as she didn't know most of the people here all that well yet. Aislinn tried not to let her worry show, this was a test after all and supposed to be a hard one at that, perhaps they didn't preform adequately and were removed from the test. While it was ideal they all became keyblade masters, it wouldn't be so special if it was that easy for everyone to just become one. As Aislinn stood around and thought about this, a man that she didn't really recognize approached her. He was rather rude in her opinion, instead of a greeting or at least introducing himself, he simply pointed to Hikaru and asked what she knew about him. Strange question to be asking, but stranger things had happened recently. "I don't know that much about him, but I know he seems to be a good guy. He is good with his keyblade, I have no doubt that he will pass this exam with flying colours. And he seems to like and appreciate his friends, he supports them." Aislinn recited what she had picked up on during the last test they were on. Besides that anything else she knew about him you could learn by just looking at him. She really hadn't had much time for a proper conversation with Hikaru to know any more.

Dayla was relieved when the man came down to sit for the drink she had offered. She was almost sure that he had hated her. Not only did he come accept her offer of a free drink, but he also attempted a conversation. It was a nice change of pace. The questioned seemed a bit odd, but she supposed fair. "I do sleep at times. Generally early morning and naps in the early afternoon. Unfortunately it isn't a great sleep schedule, but what can you do when you don't have much hired help." Dayla said with a shrug. "You get used to it after a while." She added to the end. As she spoke with the strange man she glanced over at Alyse who seemed to be trying to get her attention. Taking a few steps away from Enok, Dayla lifted a chin to Alyse, an invitation to come talk, although she didn't go to far from Enok either. She stuck close in case the man needed something else, but she wanted to give her only employee a chance at her attention as well. She rather liked the girl and preferred to be on her good side when she could. That being said the customer always came first and it was a balancing act between managing both. She had to at least try.
