By the time that Auburn awoke there was a message on her phone from her father. He must have called back in the middle of the night. She had gone to bed not long after leaving the message for her father so it wasn't all that surprising that she missed him, but she was a little upset that she had been unable to speak to him. She could at least listen to what he had to say, maybe he would explain where he is, what he is doing, why he wasn't there. However before Auburn was able to actually check her message, Glynda walked around telling everyone to meet her in the lobby. Knowing that she should listen and hurry up. Shoving her phone into her pocket Auburn quickly dressed and made decent time getting down to the lobby, just finishing securing her weapons as she approached the group, choosing a spot off to the edge and watching from there. On top of keeping her out of the way, Auburn actually found it easier to see and listen from the side instead of the front. When others were around they often made noise, whether it be talking or fidgeting, so removing herself from that simply made things easier on herself when she was trying to fully listen. That didn't mean everything was easy to listen to however, as Qrow kept interrupting to do the explaining himself. It was an annoying way to go about things, but she supposed as long as the general point was gotten across, then she wouldn't complain. When the rest of the students finished trickling in, new members were assigned to the teams. Auburn took a quick glance around trying to pick out who the members were. It was pretty easy to tell who the two knew people were, however she wasn't quite sure which was which, one of them would be joining her team. There was no time for proper introductions as Qrow spoke over Glynda once more to inform them of their mission. So they needed to go around and collect relics before they could do much more. Well at least it would be an easy way to ease themselves into the situation that they were just thrown in. It wasn't like they had to go track down the base of the guy controlling the guardians just yet, so that was a plus. As the full mission was being explained, screams sounded in the area, and Auburns head jolted up as she scanned the area, vaguely hearing what Qrow and Glynda were saying as her weapons were already out. It was reflex for her now to have her weapons at the first sign of danger. She scanned the area before spotting where the threat was coming from. She tuned back into those around her just in time to hear Qrow order the direction that they were to go in. Pushing herself against the wall she was leaning, Auburn was out the door and on the move towards where the Grimm were coming from. Uva managed to make it there first but Auburn didn't care too much as she watched the girl do a good number on the Ursa. They had to finish it off though. Lazuli took one swing at it but the beast barely seemed deterred by him. That wasn't a good sign. It was time for her to jump in. Dual blades in hand, Auburn skipped out on the ranged attack, and while the Ursa was distracted by the other two, ran closer, slashing once at it's leg to stumble it before turning and plunging her other sword into it's head to take it out completely. After that without a moment of hesitation she yanked her blades from it and turned to a Beowulf that was charging for her, moving out of the way and slashing it twice in the side and stabbing up at its underside. This unfortunately was not enough to kill the thing, but it did cause it to land off balance to the side instead of getting an instant attack on her. Auburn turned to face it, ready to finish it off, but her eyes darted around just in case another threat came. This grimm was injured enough it wasn't her first fear when it came to attacks. ╔════»Much to Arian's surprise and delight the other boy did indeed decide to join them, partaking in an ale alongside them as he gave some minimal details about who he was and where he was from. The boy was a little too boring for Arian's taste, but he managed to bite his tongue and keep himself from saying too much about that. He got Lloyd talking about where he was from, and in attempts to be included in the conversation, Arain piped up."Well I am from Menagerie. You know the place all faunus' are from.... well not all, just the ones that want to be accepted..... not that you don't necessarily not accept us here.... or at least you guys and where you are from outside the kindgoms but you know.... I will just stop talking now." Arian's ears went back as he looked down sipping on his ale. Did he ever mess that conversation up. Perhaps he just wasn't good at talking to people that weren't girls. »Just as he was starting to enjoy himself again, Qrow walked into the room... and started yelling at them, mostly him. Arian stood up and faced the old drunk. "You know you are welcome to join us if you want. It is on me." Arian invited as Qrow continued to threaten him. Arian cocked his head looking rather confused at the threat. "Fear and labor? I am not pregnant dude. I am not even a chick." He had to just point that out before he grudgingly left his ale and started to head back to his room. Qrow was clearly pissed and Arian knew that he couldn't push his luck much more with this guy, not today at least. Perhaps another day Arian would continue this little... game he had going, but that could wait. -------Time Skip------- »They next morning was a bit of a challenge to get out of bed, Arian certainly was not awake enough for it that day. They had been woken up and dragged down for more talking. Arian got himself ready and presentable anyways but took his time getting down there, not care if he was late. Once down in the lobby he listened to Glynda speak about the new members joining their teams. Great they got the boring guy, that was going to be interesting. Qrow then began giving them their missions, a mission that Arian believed was pointless. He had planned to say as much when shouting came. Grimm were in the city? Not a good sign. Their teams were split up and sent off in different directions to handle all the grim, and a slight smile crossed Arian's face. He didn't mind a little bit of a fight. It could be interesting after all. A good way to wake up. »Running towards the scene, Arian drew his bow while Aalis, Lloyd and Vice jumped into battle. Aalis had challenged something about not being able to take down more than she was able to and Arian scoffed. "And just what are you willing to bet on the wager. It better be something good, though winning is a prize of it's own." Arian called back as he drew his bow and fired an arrow right into the head of Beowulf, dropping it right away. He then split his bow into two swords and continued forward finishing off the Beowulf that Lloyd had been fighting. It wasn't kill stealing when help was requested. "That makes two!" Arian called out to Aalis. ════╝Arian HP: 15/15 Arrows: 2/3 Arian Kill Count: 2 Beowulves left: 6/10
Just a friendly reminder that lines are due tomorrow
╔════»As he ordered and waited for his drink, another student, Lazuli if he recalled correctly, walked up and questioned his choice. "Of course I want to do it. Why wouldn't I. My parents think if they keep throwing money at me I will eventually join them, may as well make good use of that money." Arian stated before getting his food and ale and turning back to the bar tender. "And one for my friend as well." He stated before striding away just in time to hear who the new guy was. "Hey Dubhan, go get a drink, or some food, it is on me after all. Then maybe tell us a little about yourself. Give us something interesting, I mean you can find out enough about us by just looking at us. For one thing, she is glowing and I am part wolf." Arian pointed out before looking at Lloyd. "He is boring and you can't tell much about him so you can make him share about himself if you want." Arian continued to ramble on some as he started to sip on his ale, rather happy about it. With Lloyd getting Lazuli off his back and Blaine joining them, Arian felt rather content about how this whole thing was going. "So what do you think those other boring people are doing right about now? Who would pass up the chance for free food after all?" Arian stated with a shrug. He had hoped everyone would take him up on his offer, but in the end it was their loss. ════╝
Stepping through the portal, Aislinn found herself on the other side not as a human, but an animal. Hikaru was already there running around like a little puppy. Aislinn laughed slightly at the sight of this. It was rather cute and innocent in her eyes, it almost felt like they weren't in the middle of their Mark of Mastery right now. Kaida was standing near by as a small yellow bird, which was also completely cute. Looking down at her own form Aislinn know that it would take some getting used to. Taking a few steps she stumbled as she tried to figure out how to walk in this form. It was harder than she expected, but soon she was figuring it out. Looking around the area it was rather barren. Aislinn kicked up a little dust and watched it settle as she looked to Kaida who suggested it was a drought. "Well what ever it is, we should go look around see what is going on, once everyone is here of course." Aislinn said looking back to see if Ananta, AJ, and Aux had gotten there yet. In the mean time she continued to pace around, trying to get used to her form, but more watching Hikaru, entertained. Just then AJ also appeared as a lion form. The form oddly suited the boy as he stated right after she did, not that he would have known. "I think we should be able to speak to them. As you said we are animals as well."
I made you all a gift. Merry Christmas Spoiler
Kiara watched as Lea went to "help" Melus. His version of helping and hers were too different things after all Kiara had mentioned she wasn't good with emotional stuff and Lea didn't seem to be either, as he completely brushed off that side of the situation, handing the girl potions and walking away. Well that was one way of doing things, and while Kiara believed it could have been handled better, she had no desire to be the one fixing that situation. She was in no state to fix that situation. After that Lea came back towards her, grabbing the necklace after she already slipped it back into her pocket. Kiara flinched as Lea grabbed it from her pocket, a scowl crossing her face as her arm came up to know his out of the way. Lea already had the necklace in hand but Kiara was not comfortable with anyone getting that close to her. Lea went ahead and destroyed the necklace as Kiara huffed. "You could have asked. It wasn't like I had planned to use it or anything. I am not like her. I will not go and take revenge on my world by killing them all, there is no point in that." Kiara said before walking away mumbling under her breath. "I am not, and will not be my father." Finding a more quiet area to sit, Kiara let herself sink to the ground as she scrubbed at her face in attempts to get some of the blood off. After a moment of trying she knew that she wouldn't get far without a proper bath. For the time being she needed to wind down for a moment. Reaching in her pocket she reached for the only thing that offered her the smallest amount of comfort, however as she reached around in her pocket it wasn't there. Worry crossed her face as she started to frantically search her cloak, every pocket every place it could sit. She came up empty handed. Did her recorder disappear in her home world? But that was just an illusion there was no way that it could be left there? Did she leave it on the ground after she came out. The time after the home world before Lea came for her was a bit of a blur, too many emotions for her really to comprehend anything she was doing. Did she move it somewhere? Kiara had to force herself to stop looking as she just pressed her back against the wall and rubbed at her face once more. With nothing better to do to distract herself she pulled out a collection of Key Chains and started to organizing them carefully. She couldn't use them anymore but they were things that she had earned for herself and worked hard to get. Kiara was not going to let that go too easily.
Aislinn still kept an eye on the trio of friends as AJ continued to talk to her about one of the members. "Perhaps it could be, but I like to draw conclusions on my own." She stated. She could tell people already had predetermined opinions on people, especially Aux, but she had not seen enough of the boy yet to think anything for herself. She watched as the group went towards a portal and Aislinn turned back to AJ. "Well I guess we should follow them. Keep Aux from being too rude to the locals, and the girl from punching someone else." Aislinn glanced over at Ananta as she said that. Starting towards the portal Aislinn turned back to Ananta. "So are you coming? We won't bite." Aislinn might not have liked the girl on first meeting but she needed to try and get along if they were going to get through this exam. As she neared the portal she noticed that only one of the group had stepped and and caught the very tail end of what Kaida was saying, something about seeing where the train wreck leads. Aislinn wanted to say otherwise, assuming they were talking about the mark of mastery, but she had not been around for the entire situation to know for sure. If she said something out of context, well she might just look as bad as Ananta did on the first world. Kaida then walked through the portal, leaving Aux there. Aislinn approached Aux. "Looks like we will be going to the same world. Welcome to the group. I am Aislinn. Try not to be so rude next time you want to talk to someone by the way. I might not have minded but it might not get you far with some of the locals." She told him up front and blunt as she looked towards the portal. "Lets go." She smiled at him then back at her partners before taking the lead stepping through the portal, she prayed that this world would go better than the last one. No cars, please.
Aislinn gave AJ a nod and a smile, they would be fine, she was sure. Aislinn glanced around at the other partners to notice that they boy from before returned her attention, noticing the board changing. Another person was added to the team and Aislinn had to try not to groan. There was a single person that she wasn't fond of here, and Ananta was it. After the first world she couldn't help but have a bias against her a little bit. This was sure to be an interesting world. Either way she they would still do well, they would pass this test. AJ then looked back at her and spoke regarding Aux. "I don't see why. He might be a little rude and all but he just seems confused. From what I can tell the price of doing this test was pretty high for him. I am sure he is just a little lost on this whole thing. He just needs some help along is all." Aislinn told AJ with a bit of a shrug and a smile. She didn't seem to mind the idea of helping the boy. It seems like he knew the people that he was pared with, and while Aislinn wasn't close enough to hear their conversation, she hoped it was going well. Whatever happened Hikaru seemed surprised looking at the other boy. She wondered what that was about but decided to turn her attention more to her team.
Dayla went to deal with Alyse but Enok continued to speak with her, not that she totally minded it. She put her customers first after all, but she did want to keep her employee happy. "Well I have some good help, but running this place isn't a cheap as you may think. I can't afford another employee right now, not with winter coming." Dayla explained to Enok while one of the Witchers walked up to the bar to order drinks. Dayla gave the witcher a nod and began to fill a mug of her stronger ale. "Here you are." She said handing over the ale before turning towards Alyse once more. As she turned to Alyse she took a few steps away from the males to give them room to talk. "Are you wanting to speak to me about something?" Dayla asked as she picked up a cloth and started idly cleaning. She turned back and glanced at her customers to make sure that they were happy. They should be for the time being so she could afford to give most of her attention to Alyse, there was never a moment that Dayla wasn't scanning for customers, though she listened more to Alyse than anything else.

Episode Tinarah: Part 1 Into the Unknown The sounds of Tinarah's voice and her footsteps echoed on to the infinite and faded into nothing. She could have walked for hours and see no change in the scenery. All that she could see was that she was alone and had made no progress by walking forward. The longer she walked, the more hopeless Tinarah felt. Every now and then she would call out into the nothingness, until she finally gave up. "Someone please... I don't want to be alone." She cried leaning against the rail of the bridge and slowly sinking down and sitting, tears running down her cheek. "Chrono... Choma.... Someone please, help me." she said burying her face in her knees. "Tinarah?" A familiar voice came. A figure appeared in the distance though it was obscured by fog. It began to approach the girl. "There you are! I was looking all over for you!" There was a pause in his speech. The figure came into view. It was Chrono. He noticed Tinarah's tears upon seeing her closer. "Hey Tinarah, how 'bout I show you a special card trick of mine?" As Tinarah sat for a moment she heard a voice and looked up. The voice sounded familiar but in the loneliness she wondered if she just imagined it. However looking around she saw a figure and heard the voice again... Chrono. So Light Chaser didn't lie after all. As Chrono neared she got up and ran to him, hugging him. "You're here! We need to find a way to leave here. I found Aria, she is alright, but she is stuck in a world and I don't really get why, something about being a princess, but I had to leave to find you and I promised that I would bring you back. Where is the others? We need to help her. That man... Light Chaser, she is with him. We can't waste time!" Tinarah insisted writing off the card trick trying to look to see if she could find a way off the bridge again so they could search for a way back to the world Aria was in. "Slow down a second. The others are fine. How about you just take a breather and cheer up? I know this trick will do the trick." Chrono purposefully made the pun as he tugged gently on Tinarah's arm to keep her from going away. It wasn't usual for her brother to stop her like that that, but Tinarah turned around. "Okay... fine." She agreed to let him show her the trick if it got them to move along. Standing on the bridge like that was making her nervous anyways. She at least wanted to be on solid ground, and she wanted to keep her promise to Aria. Another question also came to her mind however. Clearly they weren't where she disappeared from and since Chrono had gotten there, he must know where they were. "Where are we Chrono? I am scared." "Good. It'll be fine." Chrono had pulled out his deck of cards and began to shuffle in his usual manner. When Tinarah questioned him further about where they were he frowned and stopped shuffling. "You can't stop, can you? You just can't slow down and stop worrying. Not even when your brother is right here with you." He sounded upset when he spoke, looking down intently at Tinarah. "How can I when Aria might be in danger. I don't know how I got there but that man had someone bring me to the place where we first reunited, and the darkness was gone. He told me that Aria had to stay with him because she is a princess of some kind and he just let me go after all that work bringing me there. I don't like it Chrono. Shouldn't you be more worried?" She asked getting an off feeling, Chrono cared about her but he also cared about others. Right now it seemed like he was putting others off in favour of a card trick. "Can we please just go back to the others and tell them, then you can show me the new card trick." "I don't care about this stupid card trick! I just want you to relax! All you do is worry and whine." Chrono's grip on Tinarah's arm tightened. "I'm getting sick of you. When mom died a part of me wished I had become an only child instead." His voice had been growing louder and harsher as he spoke and now he was grabbing bother her arms. "And what's your response to everything? Crying!? How are we even related?" "What are you doing? Chrono that hurts!" Tinarah cried out struggling to get free of Chronos grasp. "Stop it. You don't mean that do you? I've been trying to get stronger, I swear!" Tinarah couldn't stop the tears as Chrono yelled at her. She had always hated yelling, he knew that. He had never raised his voice at her like that before and she started to panic, doing the exact thing he was yelling at her for doing. "No...nononono!" Chrono glared at her with a burning anger clear in his eyes. "You're not going to hold me back anymore. You won't hold anyone back. I won't let you." He only gripped Tinarah tighter as she cried ignoring her pain. Chrono looked off to the side over the bridge's railing and into the abyss below. He looked back at Tinarah, his eyes now glowing bright yellow as trails of black smoke rose from his body. "No more holding back." He grinned at Tinarah as he picked her up and threw her over the edge. She had never seen Chrono so angry before, especially not at her. She vaguely remembered his burning anger when he found her being beaten by a man in an ally years before, however she had been drifting between unconsciousness at that point. Now it was clear as day as he yelled about her holding him back. "I will go h-OW!" she shrieked as his grip got tighter again. He looked over the rail edge then back to her. Tinarah became frantic as she struggled to try and get away from her brother, he was so much stronger though. He managed to pick her up and throw her over. In that moment she did not notice his glowing eyes, or the black smoke, she just saw her brother as betrayal pierced her fragile heart. Out of everyone, everything that had or could hurt her, she had never thought Chrono would be the one to lead to her inevitable death. The bridge disappeared from view as Tinarah fell. The only thing she would have been able to hear was the sound of the wind rushing by, the dense fog only continuing to thicken the further down she went. And then, everything went dark.

The heartless had always been a problem, if that was the case then there had to have been people to deal with it, which again was proven true. That being said the keyblade masters were no longer around anymore. According to Mora one of them had been killed, and the other disappeared. He wondered if the disappearance and the appearance of Ria were related. While Cerdic had no memory of this, they were apparently hired to find out what had happened to the missing Master. So what had happened exactly during that quest? Something with the extractor and pain and Aevum who was Chrono, and the birds. There was too many gaps, too much that he didn't under. Cerdic didn't claim to be the most intelligent of the group but he at least tried to think things through. Of course a keyblade master would be more qualified, but it still made Cerdic 'tsk' with dissatisfaction. He didn't like being told that he wasn't good enough for the job he was apparently given. Cerdic perked up to what Alder had to say. A place to make a stand."Sure that would be a great plan if it didn't seem like a logical place for Ria to look for us. Hard to prepare to make a stand when we don't know the area well enough to prepare for it. There has to be a better option. Something we could do, some better way to prepare. We are safe in the tunnels, but for how long. We can't stay down here forever but we can plan as we walk, get a solid plan, and MAYBE we can get out of this alive."
As Kiara struggled with Krista, Vallus approached from behind. At first Kiara became tense wondering if Krista somehow had him under her control still. However as the blade came down it manged to miss her and impale itself into Krista. Clearly someone wanted her dead. Of course because of that blood splattered everywhere including on her face and Kiara scowled as she got ready to get up and clean herself up a little bit. Kiara only got a single step away however before Luther approached with his rather confusing set of movements that Kiara tried to track to have not the best success. She couldn't help but watch as Luther made sure that Krista was dead, getting even more blood on her. With a sigh she stepped away and observed her team. Seeing Melus Kiara turned to Lea. "Hey do you mind checking on her. I am not good at you know the comforting thing or whatever you do when someone collapses with duplicates around them." Kiara said with a bit of a shrug, it seemed like an emotional thing or something or other and she wasn't good with that sort of stuff, unlike Lea, she was sure that Lea was okay with it. She then looked to everyone else, they seemed to be coming out of their trance. Kiara still glared at Arctus, even if he was mine controlled she still didn't like the guy too much. "So how long before her friends come looking for her when I have this?" Kiara flashed the necklace for a moment before she slid it back into her pocket hoping that no one would try and take it. It wasn't like Kiara was going to try and use it or anything.
The awkward silence that was left in the room was only interrupted by the the game masters returning. So Glen failed his exam in the end and he wouldn't be coming back. While it was sad this was an exam and it was bound to happen. Not everyone was expected to pass, even still Aislinn wished that they could have all moved forward as a group. Then of course there was a bit of an argument about the Aux thing again, at least this time it made a little bit of sense since it was supposed to be a closed exam and in the end it turned out not to be so closed. Well at least they had their new partners and were going to finish the exam. Aislinn turned to AJ, it seemed the two new people were together. Everyone else was with someone they knew. Aislinn just hoped that they could keep up with everyone else. She was sure it would be fine though as she turned and approached AJ. "Hey, I guess we will be working together this time around. Lets do our best." Aislinn told the boy with a smile not sure what else to say to him at the time.
This girl was truly crazy. Kiara didn't know how what she endured compared to Kiara's own suffering but it didn't matter she would never go to the lengths that Krista was going to here and now. "Destined for great things. It chose you so you had a chance at a better life. Watch, it will reject you soon enough. You will learn your lesson well enough soon." Kiara said staring Krista down as Krista started commanding their comrades again, first with a wall of fire, it was the perfect distraction that Kiara needed. "When that day comes the difference between you and me, at least I have something to go back to." She couldn't go home but she now had this group and she had the SoS group. If anything happened to her while she might not be liked she was accepted, she doubted Krista could say the same thing. As the wall of flames went up Kiara let herself get hit and knocked further to the side. Let herself be injured as the flames from Lea heated her skin. She sat there waiting for Krista to completely lose it. The girl was busy yelling die, busy trying to command everyone to do what she wished. Taking advantage of this time, Kiara slowly engulfed some of the flames, keeping herself in top shape as she slowly moved across the ground still trying to seem injured as she made her way closer to Krista. She could see that the people who were supposed to be on their team starting to fight again, she couldn't let it go too far, she needed to stop this before the damage was irreversible. Just as Lea turned his attention to her, Kiara took the moment to spring to her feet, she was close enough now. Using her whip blade she managed to catch Krista in the arm, getting her attention for a minute, hopefully making her concentration falter as she close the last small space between them. While Kiara would just wanted to kill her here and now, she had to get that necklace away from her first. "Too bad that with all that time you had to grow bitter, you never bothered to grow stronger." She said when it was too late for Krista to call everyone back to stop her, then she ripped the necklace from her neck, pocketing it herself and using her physical strength to keep Krista down for the others to deal with.
As she helped get Kaida's stuff together, the young woman decided to play the recorder against Aislinn's warning. That was her decision and Aislinn didn't think too much of it. While it turned out it was something personal, Aislinn looked away and took a step back. She didn't know the full story, but once more this was a person who they all clearly knew before and she out of the loop. The girl in the recording sounded scared. It left an awkward hollow silence after that. Ananta started mumbling something but Aislinn decided to stay out of the situation again. There was only so many things that she could do to help in situations that she didn't completely understand. The fact that the information was out there made things a little awkward but it was more for their sake but Aislinns.
