Gonna bring your friends are you?
No there's not enough said. I don't allow people to bash other people's music taste without at least giving a reason why they don't like the band. Next time you'll get a warning.
-locked- Due to: * issue resolved * the existence of a general Naruto thread * me going "what the hell is this thread?" when I first read it
I'm sorry to hear that. I kinda had the suspicion that your newest work was inspired by a surge of emotions, and I'm slightly worried because they...
I'm sorry to hear that. What's wrong? I'm doing alright. I'm reading your newest stuff on dA now. You've evolved from an above-average poet...
I'm digging this structure, where you open the Phase with a flashback, more and more. You have a knack for weaving a scenario; not a single scene seems to be written for nothing and everything seems like part of a whole. That is what truly separates it from other works in this genre, in my opinion.
Hey what's up? Cool new avatar. How are you doing?
Guys, I know you just want to be friendly and all but if you keep making irrelevant posts in here you leave me no choice but to lock the thread or move it to the Spam Zone.
I didn't say it couldn't be beneficial. I said it isn't legal. The law is a factor. Want to lower the age for marriage? Then you better take that little side dish into account.
Too many to keep track of yes.
The river. Seriously. Styx the band isn't half bad but I'm not that much of a fan. XD
You're language is as vivid and tangible as ever. The story is very realistic and bold but your rich language prevents it from becoming a cold and insensitive read by sending enough (mostly negative) vibes the reader's way. You're really good at this.
You do know that it's mandatory for married couples to live together, right?
It wasn't meant to sound similar though. You ask a question and your client answers but reveals much more than he thinks. They also do this without asking at all. Notice how a fortuneteller will always try to shake your hand and have a real close look at it to see whether you're wearing a wedding ring. That is also a form of cold reading. I've always pictured it as seeing some sort of glow around a person, and the colour and intensity of that glow (the "aura") is linked to the mental condition and mood of that person. I'm no expert though.
And with that, the discussion on what grunge is exactly ends, and we all go back on topic.
I know what cold reading is, and it's nothing supernatural. Nor does it have anything to do with "seeing auras" in the traditional sense of the word. Cold reading is detailed perception coupled with manipulating your client into giving information without him even being aware of it.
================================ Session II Immorality ================================ "I don't care what you think Unless it is about me It is now my duty to completely drain you" Nirvana (Drain You) At the moment, Catherine is to be found in the esophagus of her existence. She's undertaking a descent that she has experienced as being exceedingly unpleasant time and time again. This time however, she doesn't hope be cut loose and break her neck at all. And thus she lands into the deep dungeon where all of her cargo is digested, sometimes without her even realizing it. Here is where she's hanging. Infinitely high, exactly where Catherine wants her to be. She can't see the woman's face, and is very grateful for that. Her friend, due to lack of a better description of the term. Their ties are strictly machinal; they communicate exclusively through seering electricity. Catherine leads; her partner follows. Today's a fine day to be called to dance. After all, the machine must keep on running at all times. Doubt is dwelling through her fingertips again. This gatekeeper does not easily allow a re-arrangement of his nation's borders. This is a rare moment indeed; a moment where she can defeat him. She approaches the lever with nubile curiosity, as opposed to the usual enthusiasm or reluctance. She flips it. A tsunami of lightning package is released, with a heterogenous package of feelings surfing on top. It rams the tragedienne who looks down on her with unknown intentions full on the front. Catherine is feeling it too. It tingles, caresses, dances, writes its lyrics all over her body. It is pure calligraphy. The mysterious prisoner is crying, shrieking and squirming for dear life, twitching with all the freedom of movement she has left. She screams a pessimism that Catherine abhors. Who is she anyway? She's known her for a very long time, yet she hasn't got the slightest clue on what she's doing here of whether she'll be staying forever. Maybe she'll learn if the woman would finally be gone. Let's give it a try... More? Okay. That feeling again, that delicious, sensational feeling. Her fellow-sizzler should be feeling the exact same thing, but her receptors only detect pain and suffering. She's sick, she's despicable. More? Even more? Maybe she'd better not. Her victim has already started to evaporate. When she'd be gone, the question of why it was necessary for her to die would surely arise and Catherine can't answer that...just yet. That'll be all for today. The sense of touch in Catherine's fingers is slowly returning. The dusty lightning is getting beaten out of her clothes. Only this time, it didn't hurt her for a second. Could it have something to do with him?
I always had a thing for Scyther. I liked his fighting style. Also, having blades for arms is just too cool. I didn't like his evolution that much though.
I won't argue that there should be a time that parents should let go of their offspring. However... Even if Adam and Eve did just fine, can the same be said about us? I think mankind in general is still showing destructive tendencies to such an extent that it'd be unwise for God to say "free will lol: just do something". Suppose you have a son, let's say he's about 28. He's left the house, lives in an apartment etc. You're maintaining contact with him but you decided not to meddle with his affairs anymore, like a good parent should. However things go wrong as he gets badly addicted to drugs and commits shady deals with mobsters to get the money to buy more coke. Are you going to let him sort things out all by himself anyway? No? Well then isn't that what God's doing, if he exists? No I'm not "sure" but what proof do I need? Two humans, the first of their kind and having known no hardships in life yet, demonstrate anything other than blind loyalty just once and get their butts kick out of Paradise. Then how the hell are they mature enough to let go of?
Apparently it'll be called "On Stranger Tides"? I don't really care that Knightley's and Bloom's characters would be left out in this movie. Their story has been completed in the original trilogy after all. But yeah, I am looking forward to see what the rest of the pirates have been up to.
