Also, remember that every duelist always has the right to know how many cards his/her opponent has in their hand. It's not a rule nor am I saying that it should become one but I'd like to point out that people should keep track of it. That brings me to another question: In duels with hand refill you get five cards every turn. Can you still draw a card then? In other words; have you gotten five or six new cards at the end of each Draw Phase?
Let's go over the duel. Your first turn: 6 cards face-down My first turn: Volcanic Counter in Graveyard 4 cards face-down Your second turn: You destroy my cards (which you negate with Henawata), summon a powerful thing, attack me with it (my LP go down) but my Volcanic Counter doesn't connect thanks to Henawata. My second turn: I do some ****, summon Volcanic Slicer, use its effect and all that. Your third turn: You attacked me (I can show you when you said so if you forgot). I play Nightmare Wheel. You chain with Royal Decree. I follow with Trap Jammer which is supposedly legal. Next: ????
Yes I can, as long as I chain it with a card that has a higher spell speed. Like Trap Jammer. Royal Decree isn't activated until the entire chain is resolved.
@Jaden: Yeah I know what you mean. But that's the question. If you counter something in the Battle Phase, can your opponent respond by redoing her entire move? @Aqua: Right. So two face-downs and Trap Jammer. Well yeah I know it's your turn but see: You made a move, and entered a Battle Phase (that was before your combo with Card Destruction etc.). I activated a trap during the Battle Phase. So now you just redo your move? Is that legal?

I countered her during the Battle Phase; doesn't that make it illegal for her to redo her Main Phase 1? Something about not redoing your move In that case she must have activated it during her Main Phase 2, which means she can't have attacked me at all. But very well, the Trap Jammer activation didn't connect. I'll grant you that. That would mean I still have three cards face-down though. All in all this may be a better predicament than I originally planned.

He's already agreed to a duel with DeadHeart when he got back, and he agreed to a duel with me afterwards. :P Your Elemental Hero Neos or your other monsters can't attack me, since I activated my trap during the Battle Phase. I specified this in my previous post. Thus, your combo can only have taken place as soon as Main Phase 2. Either way I counter your Royal Decree with my Trap Jammer, which I can due to its higher spell speed. 2 face-down cards left on either side. Will you continue to try and negate my Nightmare Wheel or leave it at this?
I still haven't gotten an answer regarding hand refill. Do you get five cards plus your Draw Phase (so six cards at the start of your Main Phase) or five in total? Actually I didn't chain your Heavy Storm. Volcanic Counter is a response to an attack, and you didn't have any usable face-down cards at that time. So my Counter doesn't get redirected. So I haven't lost yet. You negated my damage but that's basically it. Your LP: 7500 My LP: 4500 I still have 4 face-downs left. I counter your attack with one of them: Nightmare Wheel. Before I begin my turn I'd like to know whether you counter this move or not. It'll have an effect on what I do during my next move.

On top of that, your Heavy Storm destroyed three of my Kozaky's Self-Destruct Buttons making you lose another 3000 LP points. So before my second turn even comes... My LP: 4500 Your LP: 1500 -Draw Phase- 6 cards in hand (I still had one from my last turn). -Standby Phase- -Main Phase 1- I summon Volcanic Slicer in attack mode. 5 cards in hand. I use its effect; you lose 500 LP. I end my turn by placing four cards face-down. -End Phase- 1 card in hand (or two). And with that, it's your turn again.
-Draw Phase- 6 cards in hand. -Standby Phase- -Main Phase 1- I play Graceful Charity and draw 3 cards. Then I discard Molten Zombie and Volcanic Counter. 5 cards in hand. I set four of them face-down (wouldn't want you to hurl Straight Flush at me). I'm ending my turn.
That's okay. I hope it got resolved in the end.
I've always wondered why you call Card Of Sanctity (that is where COS stands for I presume?) anime-exclusive. Isn't there a real card with that name?
