Takehiko had been a bit more preoccupied with the black hole scenario before even thinking to answer Aria's question. When Jim was securing the lifelines Take had walked over and grabbed a rope for himself and tied it into his belt before the worst of it kicked up and he tried to signal for others to do so as well. In case they hadn't caught on. When the final steps were taken, the ship began to blast on out of there and Take held on tightly before the calm began. As the crew cheered, Take just felt a wave of relief they got out of that scenario. Sounding a bit distant, and back to his usual monotone, Take finally managed out, "I'm fine, Aria." he took another breath before he untied the rope and turned straight towards Illiana and crossed his arms, "So, where exactly did you decide to gallop off to on your own... Lieutenant General?" The way he focused the last word was so he made certain it was clear Takehiko was mocking her, and didn't even for a minute take her claimed position of authority seriously.
Take heard Illiana's comment come almost out of nowhere and the boy turned his head and asked with just as much anger in his voice as he had towards everything else, "Ya know, dining and dashing during a date doesn't make guys like you either. You seem that type." Take felt a hit from one of the pirates and he kind of just elbowed it away from him before he charged after the Air Pirate that hit Chrono and he jumped up in the air and hit the Air Pirate so it flew off the side of the ship as it disappeared. Take landed on the ground solidly before he took a deep breath and he backed away a bit and got himself guarded up just in case. He seemed to finally be calming down now that everything was under control. A little too calm. HP: 13/35 AP: 3/14 ( 1 Air Pirate) MP: 10
Take had gotten so excited that he hadn't exactly put on any guarding after that last attack. So when the sudden brute force of so much damage hit him, Take flew back a little and clutched his stomach before he got himself up. He felt a healing light and looked over in the direction of Aria and he raised a thumb up at her as a show of thanks before he ran on at the air pirate and yelled up in the air as he glowed with a bit of provoking energy, "Come at me! Come at me! You threw that hit huh? YOU WANNA ANOTHER PIECE OF ME?!" his sudden yell may have seemed unwarranted but it got the attention of the rest of the air pirates as Take slashed on down and got one of 'em and the boy help up his arm with his keyblade, "Who wants to take me on huh? WHO WANTS IT?" There was a moment where Nini seemed to sort of mew in a bit of fear as he responded, "SHUT IT FUZZBALL. AAAAAAAAAAH." and Take threw his keyblade at the last remaining fiery globe and grabbed his keyblade to hold on guard for rest of it, "COME ON, I KNOW YOU WANNA. COME OOOOOOON." Nini ran back towards Aria and jumped into her bag over the nervousness of Takehiko's intensity. Take used Provoke btw in case that wasn't clear HP: 22/35 AP: 2/14 ( 1 fiery globes, 1 Air Pirate) MP: 10
Take chose to not go in provocation mode this time, mostly because it was multiple enemies and not one big enemy. So once Aira got the run in and suggested getting the smaller ones, Take nodded and once Chrono got in and got a lot of them down, the boy chose to go after what was left of the red nocturnes and getting a few of the fiery globes while he was at it. He felt a lot more comfortable fighting with the keyblade at this point. He wasn't nearly as fast as the others, but he was packing a significant enough punch to not feel too bad. When he finished up with some of the globes, a few were left and he tried to back away a little before he felt his keyblade glow slightly and the boy looked at it a bit and suddenly felt a bit of a surge of power. He knew what he wanted to do at this point. Pointing over towards one of air pirates, Takehiko focused in and felt his keyblade shine out as he yelled, "Blizzard!" and a blast of cold shot straight at one of the air pirates, bringing it down almost immediately and Take smirked a little bit at the success of the attack. HP: 35 AP: 0/14 ( 6 fiery globes,4 red nocturnes, 1 Air Pirate) MP: 10
Kaida was a bit surprised when Aislinn asked her about Aux. She didn't exactly mind answering that question, she just didn't know how accurate she'd be to the whole story. As Kaida walked she sighed and flapped her wings again to stretch before answering, "Aux was someone I trained with in Central Haven when we were part of the academy there. We both have always been at odds with each other though but... Aux was a good guy for the longest time. Kind of quiet, tried to keep up this rather 'stoic' approach that always bothered me but.. he's always seemed to have memory problems and it wasn't an issue until he ran off one day and came back... well, darkness oriented. He's been working with this guy called No Heart or... something like that and they've been doing bad things, but the way we got into the realm of darkness was because he kind of threw us in here... which... we can't get out. And now he has no memories presumably because of the entry fee into the game but... it feels odd to me." Kaida hoped that was a good enough explanation.
Takehiko was flung back pretty hard by the suddeness of the wind, feeling the air get knocked out of him from the way he hit his back. He clung onto something just in case and went to look up towards the sky to see what was going on and his eyes were blinded for a moment and he covered them. It was like fire, was it a dragon? No, it couldn't be. And the dog seemed to yell and confirm that assumption pretty soon anyway with something called a "supernova" or whatever. Take attempted to at least get up to his knees as he yelled back, "I'm fine!" his voice was obviously still recovering from the hit. He looked over to at least locate Aria and then Chrono before asking, "Is it a monster of some kind?" he couldn't actually figure it out. He finally got himself up and clinging to the side of ship as he said, "Either way, we should help out...!" his mind more focused on the immediate task. He didn't even think to ponder about Illiana and Glyde's location, he just hoped they were alright.
There was a lot of stuff that seemed to go on in a short span of time, Kaida looked back and forth between the conversation with Nala and whatever Aux was on about. At the rate Aux was going, Kaida wasn't necessarily worried about Aux getting in the way. Kaida dropped the keyblade after a bit and she stretched her jaw going, "Kweh.. oh man why does that keep happening? What was that...." Kaida looked over at Aux when he was speaking and she shook her head and said, "He always speaks for the group at this point... Also, uh, we've interfered with a few worlds prior. In my defense, Hikaru did it first. I'm a victim here as much as you." she looked over and flapped her wings a little as she started following towards Hikaru, "Actually, I'm wrong. You did it the very first. Just go with it, less stress on the mind. Unless you're weaker than me now?" and the blonde moved faster to follow.
Kaida wasn't necessarily appreciative of the comments for her to use her "animal abilities". She didn't want to get too adjusted to this body to the point she tried to claw out a heartless of something. She would rather keep herself used to using the keyblade. Kaida kept on her swinging and clashing with the hyena that seemed disinterested in the battle anymore. She was at least getting used to the body at this point, but it still threw her off when she made a weird bird noise as she hit it. Either way, it looked like Ed was starting to finally feel it, and with the other hyenas apparently dealt with, it was time to put soul focus on finishing up this one. Take looked between Aria and Chrono wondering if those explanations would even suffice. It might just make them sound... crazier? What if the ship didn't even need their help at all. I mean, there appeared to be no immediate danger going on. He was fairly certain wherever Illiana was she was just leaning back in a chair eating crumpets and drinking tea making whatever snobby noise she did to make herself seem holier than thou. They were probably going to end up thrown off no matter what the outcome was cause as far as they were all aware they were still stowaways. But he would rather go with what Aria was attempting since it at least seemed more logical that they were drifters than pirates. All Take did was nod in agreement, since he didn't want to put his words on this plan.
Kaida's mouth was full, and she was being asked questions. When Hikaru had made a joke well... she didn't get it. When Hikaru turned to ask her for approval, she answered with her mouth still holding her keyblade, "y dn geddit. Aw hyanesss inhewentwy funny? Issh thathe jowk?" then the hyena began... going after a tree. After Hikaru's question about him forgetting to fight, Kaida raised her wings up almost in a sort of 'iunno' shrug before she ran at the hyena again, throwing her keyblade at Ed. As her mouth was free she said, "Carrying these things is annoying and these animal bodies are less exciting when you're using the keyblade and you're a BIRD." the keyblade then swung back and she caught it with her mouth again and kept trying to use the keyblade, regardless of whether or not everyone else used their bodies. Uva took the hits fairly well, but it did fling her back quite a few feet and she felt the wind get knocked out of her. She stood herself up and held her stomach a brief moment before charging head first into the fray with a bit of a yell. The girl jumped up and stabbed at one of the beowulfs, who let out a death cry. Uva flipped backwards off of the beowulf into one other one and stabbed at it as well. Some fire dust shooting into the beowulf and blasting that one away as well. Uva hit the ground and said, "One more." under her breath. 1/10 beowulfs left.
Aalis felt the attack pretty hard and she cursed under her breath a bit as she moved to ready her new attack and felt the sneeze come on and a look of fear crossed her face before the sneeze came. When she did, her sneeze was extremely loud and incredibly painful to the ears, even Aalis had to cover her ears over the volume and some of the Grimm recoiled. Aalis blinked as a Grimm seemed to just... die from the suddenness. Aalis shrugged and went for it, as she gave another full charge and sliced through the next one. She fluttered her fan a bit as she regained balance and sliced again for it to go down. Aalis looked over at Arian and smirked, "3 down." Grimm left: 1/10
Kaida saw the preparing for the pounce and backed away slightly before tried summoning her keyblade. The keyblade ended up appearing in her mouth and Kaida was a bit off balance as she found herself charging forward and hitting Ed. Kaida was a bit taken aback at the suddenness of how she moved, and she wasn't fond of keeping the keyblade in her beak but there wasn't much she could do. She turned to look over at Aux and Hikaru in a bit of surprise before Ed moved to retaliate and Kaida let out a frightened noise and used the keyblade again. Trying to get a hand of maneuvering it in this manner. She couldn't fly, so she couldn't get it in her claws, so this would have to do. The blonde got a few more hits in before she backed away looking at the others, hoping maybe they'd jump in soon. Ed: 148/180BP The others still at full BP
Melus blinked at Luther's response and tilted her head, "You don't have to make promises you can't keep. I understand it was the necklace. But harm will come and you can't help that. But, I appreciate the gesture. Thanks." she looked back over towards Koa at his response and said, "Pff naaaah, my problems aren't worse than yours. Everyone's got their demons and problems, and for them, they may take things harder and that's just how it is. If you love her and you want to see her, that's equally as important. So don't apologize." Melus strummed her harp and sat down... wherever she could sit down cause the setting is unclear and Melus continued playing, "I just figured it was relevant to bring up, I don't know why many people are here, or why they are doing what they're doing. I like knowing." Melus put on a small smile, but it wasn't real, it couldn't be. She didn't care though.
Kaida followed Hikaru for the sake of following him at this point and Kaida was amused that Aux was a Lion. The charms she ended up whittling turned out to be more accurate than she expected. Or maybe it was chance? She had no idea. heard Aux's comment and wasn't sure if she was insulting how she looked or her height and she huffed and looked away, "Least I don't have a stupid hat on WHILE I'm a lion." she looked between the two and turned around, "So there must be a reason why we're here, right? Let's just try and get this over with..." Kaida didn't seem interested in trying to warm up to Aux at all, and the sooner she could finish up the world, the better off she felt this would be.
The sudden hug from Aria had made Takehiko visibly tense up for a moment at the suddenness of it. He was not used to physical contact that didn't end in pain. Not that he was unfamiliar with the hug. He had gotten some from his brother's at home, and the most recent one having come from Atmos during training. But this was different. By all accounts, Aria was a stranger to Take, not someone he had exchanged more than a few sentences with. But he didn't push her away, he let it happen, and the longer it went on, the more his shoulders seemed to relax before by the end of it, he didn't hug back, but he returned in some way by rubbing her back a bit. Not weirdly just, in a way to try and indicate comfort but he wasn't particularly good at it. When Aria stopped hugging he would be lying to himself if he didn't say he got something out of the hug too. When Aria mentioned the other students he said, "Oh, Illiana split up and... Glyde? went to follow her. So they should be on this boat... uh. We were... talking to Jim when we were..." Take walked over and saw Jim just kind of staring at the three of them at the bottom of the stairs and he said, "She's with us too. This is Aria. Don't worry, she doesn't bite... maybe."
There was a lot of stuff he had to process with Aria's reply. First, she'd seen Tinarah briefly, which at least confirmed that the Light Chaser had something to do with her being kidnapped. But then the Princess of Heart thing came up. Which... okay, so Aria was apparently one of them. So that accounted for two. Which would confirm that Kida being kidnapped had something to do with it as well. Then Aria began struggling with the bracelet and he walked forward and said, "Well, Torrin had a feeling that the Light Chaser was going to be coming after another Princess of Heart next, since he took the one from Atlantis when we were there... which is why we ended up... here... wherever here is." he stopped when he was close enough and looked at the bracelet and paused at what she said and looked up at her and said, "Well... he had you and lost you again. Maybe this is his way of finding you. Unless this was some branding of a promise or something... I don't know but... if he is going after Princesses of Heart, he might come back for you?" Take looked at the bracelet and asked quietly to himself, "There's gotta be a way to get it off though... right? It would be a tactical disadvantage to keep it there if it actually tracks you..." the boy stood in thought for a moment before snapping his fingers in realization, "I've got it." Take looked Aria dead in the eyes and said with no hint of irony to it, "We cut off your arm.... nah... just maybe loping it at the wrist." Nini hissed a little at Take before he looked at the cat and said, "What? Her life or her hand? You make the choice." Nini growled and Take held his hands up, "Fine fine. We won't cut off her hand. Sheesh cat." Take let out a sigh of defeat and rubbed the back of his head, "I just don't want another person gone again that we just got back."
Take wasn't exactly sure what he was going to answer for Jim's situation, but he hoped maybe this sudden flash of light made it so Jim was potentially distracted. He had no idea who exactly was here for a moment, then his eyes adjusted to see Torrin briefly before the flash of light happened again. Take could see it was a portal. He shifted a bit and said, "Wait... that was Torrin... did he bring back Tinarah?" As soon as he said that, there was a faint mew that came from his bag, and Nini ran out. Take had forgotten about the little cat, but when she reacted the way she did, Take couldn't help but quickly follow the cat up. Nini had made their way to the girl first, seeing the familiar face and letting out meows of excitement and rubbing against her leg. Take climbed up and looked and had a pause. It wasn't Tinarah... but, "Wait... Aria?" he didn't know the girl very well, he only knew her through introductions as he walked forward, "I thought you were... well... dead. Not meaning anything by it, I'm glad to see you're alright. I just... I was expecting Torrin to have found Tinarah." Nini kept meowing at Aria.
LOUD NOISES
Melus tilted her head at Koa's response and said, "I'm not disappointed... why would I be disappointed in you being or not being gay? I was just asking out of curiosity. But hey, pre-congratulations to the wedding. You must be real dedicated to your girl and I respect that 100%." Melus strummed a couple more times and paced away from him a bit before turning around and saying, "So, you doing this so you can eventually head on back home to your bride to be? A noble cause. I don't think I've said this before but I'm here because my world is gone." she strummed a little more before saying, "Aaaand my heart is gone." she strummed a little more and paused before saying, "I haven't addressed that before either. Probably more important than liking girls. I am a nobody. Benefits to it, I don't have to worry about emotions, clarity in mind is fantastic. Bad news. Don't have emotions, faux enjoyment. It's all an act. An act I am horribly used to." she turned to look at Luther and pointed straight at him, "It's good news for you, meatbag, because quite honestly, I'm gonna still manage to have PTSD after this despite not having emotions, but I won't hold it against you... too much..."
