Yet another Doctor Who thread... Don't worry, for those of you sick of me talking about nothing but Doctor Who today, I can assure you this'll be the last Doctor Who thread I create. Anyway, my favorite companions would be Rose, Wilfred, and Craig. Yeah, I know those last two choices may be odd, but for some reason, in their short times as companions, I became big fans of those two guys. And an honorable mention to Mickey and Donna (who was reall funny even tough she started out as an annoying b****)

Since I've been talking a lot about Doctor Who today, I thought I'd do this. Here are my favorites: Series 1: Dalek, Father's Day, The Parting of Ways Series 2: The Age of Steel, Army of Ghosts, Doomsday Series 3: Utopia, The Sound of Drums, Last of the Time Lords Series 4: Partners in Crime, Turn Left, The Stolen Earth, Journey's End Series 5: Vincent and the Doctor, The Lodger Series 6: A Good Man Goes to War, Closing Time Specials: The Christmas Invasion, The Runaway Bride, The Waters of Mars, The End of Time 5 Minute Mini-Episodes (or whatever they're called): All of them :)
I agree that it wouldn't fit the majority of the 11th Doctor's episodes, but it would've been nice to hear it in an episode or two (like you said, "The Impossible Astronaut" is a great example). By the way, the theme was used for BOTH 9 and 10, which is why I was wondering why wasn't the theme used (even for just a little bit) for 11.

I'm sorta disappointed I didn't hear it in the episodes with 11, there were LOTS of moments it could've been used (*cough* Pandorica Opens *cough* The Impossible Astronaut *cough*)

I agree. I've watched every Doctor Who episode, and generally speaking, I prefer the Russel T. Davies era episodes (Series 1 - End of Time). The newer ones with 11 are certainly good, I won't deny that. But the ones involving 10 are really what I think about when I think Doctor Who.
