I think Maleficent needs to be kept going, yes. And here's why; Kingdom Hearts has always shown a balance between Disney and Square Enix. With Disney, KH has been able to show us exotic worlds, heart-filled moments, and fairy tale fantasy, while Square Enix has shown us the more darker, saddening, and plot twisting side of things. Xehanort has been an excellent villain, carefully planning out each step of the way according to his grande design, while Maleficent; not wishing to be left out of the scheme of things, is also finding new, and undiscovered ways of obtaining the almighty Kingdom Hearts. Both are manipulative, cunning and just love to wield that yummy, yummy darkness. So having her in Kingdom Hearts 3 as another major threat is always welcomed in my book. Her role however, will be taking a bit of a back seat compared to all we've seen thus far though. She could have such a role in the first game because there were only FOUR characters that Nomura developed for the game, (Sora, Riku, Kairi, Ansem) which left her a lot of room to scheme with fellow Disney villains. In CoM and KH2 however, Organization XIII was introduced, and with them, a bigger KH universe and overall plot. So if she is introduced into the game, I want her to have less contact with Sora, but always seen plotting in the shadows. Maybe have a redux version with her more prominently fighting Mickey like it was a side gam- *SHOT* I don't want her to be like the 2014 film version though. I don't want to sympathize her. I want her to be the mistress of all evil and flat out conquer. I want her to seem insignificant to whoever's playing for most of the game, as they travel world to world, fighting off Xehanort's 13 darknesses and whatnot. Heck, maybe she actually helps Sora out here and there as a temporary allegiance. And then. Right as Sora and Xehanort prepare to face off for the final Showdown- BAM! Maleficent shows up with a devilishly coy smirk on her face. Like in Sleeping Beauty, she'll just wander about, bantering about how she was almost left out of this grand occasion... So with 3 factions now in play, she can summon her rebuilt army of darkness and show what she's learned as an even more BAMF boss version of the KH1 battles.
Beuce leveled up! (25) Glen leveled up! (24) Kaida leveled up! (22) ~MISSION COMPLETE!~ With the mighty beast fallen, a bright light shined that opened up a new portal to take the six wielders back to Mickey. "Wow, you guys are really good at this. Your teamwork must be something you really worked hard on!" He took the third musical note and added it to the spell book. "Almost halfway done!" He flipped to the next page where he would continue to wave his hand and open up their next destination. The portal turned to mist before revealing a glen of centaur being scared off by heartless. "Hey... w-what are those things?" he asked as the Creeper Plants and Tornado steps inched in towards the frolicking creatures. "Hey look, that one's hiding the next note!" Mickey pointed towards the Poison Plant that was hiding the fourth note. "Good luck fellas!" His gloves hands glowed before sending them off into the world. ~MISSION START!~ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~MISSION COMPLETE!~ Raisor leveled up! (22) "Hey Mick, over here! Ahyuck! I found em!" Goofy yelled back as he and Donald approached the party. All three of them waltz over covered in mud with looks of disappointment. "You fellers okay?" Goofy asked looking around. "I saw you take down whatever was left of those bad guys and came soon as we could!" he reassured. Mickey slumped in the back with a most distraught expression. "We were ambushed by bad guys too!" Donald interjected. "Now how are we gonna protect the princess?" Mickey asked in sadness. "Protect the princess? Are you kidding? It's hopeless! We failed!" Donald rubbed the mud off his clothes and pouted at their failed attempts. He wasn't aware that Goofy took it to heart and began to blubber. "Hopeless... Failed?..." His eyes watered as he blurted out in loud tears. "BoooHoooHoooHooooo!!!" "Ahh, there there pal..." Donald looked around for something he could wipe with when he spotted Goofy's own uniform and gave it to him. "Here... blow." As Goofy took he cloth and blew loudly on it, Mickey tried to keep things together. He hated failing, but if they were going to be musketeers, then they needed a better attitude. "Well I don't think we're hopeless! Listen... Captain Pete has faith in all of us." "He does?... I mean- he does!" Goofy confirmed. "Pete made us muskteers, remember?" "Yeah! We're Musketeers!" Mickey had a very often habbit of picking his friends up from hopelessness when all seemed lost and as long as he kept reminding Donald of that, things would look up. "That's right! Just like we dreamed when we were kids!" Wiping off the excess dirt and grime from his clothes, he picked up everyone's spirits to keep moving forward. He looked to Donald, Goofy, and the other five wielders with optimism. "So whadya say, are we a team?" "Count me in Mickey!" Goofy answered immediately. "Mee too! Me too!" Donald added with a renewed spirit. Looking back on his friends, he nodded and looked to the keyblade wielders. "Then we're off to save the princess! And I hope you're all still with us... Because there's no obstacle too big! No Danger too great! And together we'll save the princess, or DIE trying!" Mickey and Goofy ran down the road on foot, leaving a hysterical Donald. "Die?..." The two ran back to grabs his arms and force him along, having him repeat the word blantly as he was dragged off. "Die?..." ~MISSION START!~ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hikaru dashed at the chance to destroy another skeleton. The same one that was prepared to attack him before backed up against a tombstone and gave an evil grin as he looked to the grave and back to Hikaru. He didn't like the look of his boney grin. "What?..." he questioned as it gave a small and haunting chuckle. With it's hands, it dug into the grave and moved around the dirt so it would slide in like a hand in a glove. Hikaru simply stood there confused and bewildered at what the skeleton's end game was for doing that. "You want me to come in there after you?!" he yelled onto the grave. "Or do you think you can stay down there forever?!" he called out. A hand popped out from the ground after a brief moment of silence, where Hikaru spun and let out his keyblade, ready to pounce on the revealed skeleton. "Gotcha..." Before he could act, another hand popped out from a few feet away. Followed by another, and another in a rhythm that almost sounded like a drum beating against the dirt itself. Before he knew it, sixteen hands were now out on the ground surrounding him and the hands rose themselves up, as they bent their lanky arms and picked up their skeleton bodies through the soil revealing eight of them snapping their fingers and circling Hikaru like they were something out of a gang of broadway performers. The skeleton didn't run off, he merely called in reinforcements! Hikaru smirked before lighting his keyblade high. "I've got friends too you know." The keyblade glowed before out came a spout of water along with the small baby elephant Dumbo! Shrinking in size and mounting up, he petted the kind pachyderms head and hovered on his back as Dumbo turned to see what they were facing. "Much obliged for coming when I called!" Hikaru kindly thanked. The elephant was a bit hesitant at their scary demeanor though. "I won't let them hurt you," he reassured. "They just need a good wash down." He reached for dumbo's trunk and cocked it like a shotgun. Making sure his trunk was filled to the tip with liquid, he squinted and whispered out. "Time to water the garden," before letting loose massive blasts in all directions, spinning the elephant around in a stationary position. The water knocked down all skeletons as if they were bowling pins and by the time Hikaru realized this, he tapped Dumbo on the head for him to stop, as they were now both dizzy from the spinning. "Okay... side note. Let's not do that again." With his eyes still in spirals, Dumbo nodded lazily, trying to get his head together. Words: 450+ Skeletons remaining: 41/100 Total EXP gained: 57

Assimilation is imminent...
Base leveled up! (23) With the musical piece finished and the note retrieved by Base, all seven of them were returned back to where the sorcerer's apprentice; Mickey awaited them. Still twiddling away to keep the portal open, a bright light flashed as they all appeared before him. "Way to go fellas! You found the second note! Only five more to go!" Still casting with one hand, he used the other to flip through pages of the book until he found the page he needed. "Aha! Part 3!" He closed his eyes and focused hard for the portal to change. And before their eyes, the portal shifted from a lake of lilypads, to a field of desolate mountain and earth where dinosaurs roamed about. Mickey opened his eyes in time to see the monstrous beast walk by the portal on the other side. "Whoa!! Better be careful with this one guys... I don't think all of them are herbivores..." Another bright light flashed as they were sucked back in and came across the sight of a deceased dinosaur and a T-Rex standing over it's kill. The light that shined as they entered caught the dinosaur's attention as he roared at them in the pouring rain. He left the dead carcass and went towards the seven of them with a hungry glare in his eyes. Along with another musical note! ~MISSION START!~ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "This is going surprisingly well, don't you think?" Aden mentioned back to Hikaru. Looking back at his ally, he nodded and replied back; "Couldn't have gotten much worse!" With the six of them, they had managed to take down roughly a quarter of the total skeletons. But things had to progress more quickly. He looked back to Aden and lifted his keyblade high to cast a healing spell on him. "So let's make sure they stay down!" with his cure spell healing Aden, he ran off to find more targets to destroy. As he was not exactly the slash and dash type, he looked to his more magical arsenal for ideas. Dumbo and Bambi were often fairly reliable, but the Cheshire Cat was always unpredictable, With those options in mind, he chose to save Dumbo for a later time and conserve his magic by just slashing away at more enemies to build up his halfway depleted MP bar. Spotting five more targets for him to take down, he slashed away at them as per fighting fashion and gained a bit of MP back to go on the offensive again. He looked around and found a few more of them hidden behind tombstones as he went on to exterminate them. Total EXP gained: 35 Skeletons: 70/100 left.
Five Skeleton's began to circle Hikaru, dancing around him as if he were a bonfire or ancient idol of some sort, swaying their long boney legs along to the beat of their fellow skeleton's musical styling. As He didn't have full 360 vision, this made him more susceptible to attacks from the back. In order to prevent most of the damage, he summoned his keyblade and put it in front of him to display a true and proper guard. Following their rhythm, he remained stationary as he turned his body along with them so he was no cut off guard. Two of the skeleton's leapt forward at him, only to be parried by his block, but his guard didn't catch the third attacker who got him from the rear. "Ack!" he grunted out as the blunt bones hit his body. He turned quickly and slashed away at the skeleton, who jumped back before being hit. As soon as he made the movement, they returned to their roundabout technique, attacking in whichever direction he wasn't guarding in. This made things especially difficult since he didn't have much of an attack pattern to take out large mobs of enemies. He was more the defensive and an occasion; magical offensive. His health felt low and instead of casting a quick cure on himself, he got agitated and spun his blade around. "That's enough!" Pointing his keyblade high into the sky, the magical weapon began to glow a white hue as he called out; "Faith!" Four pillars of light crashed down on the circling skeletons, causing them to break apart upon impact. Hikaru's eyes remained shut until he heard the cracking and eventual dissolving of the skeleton bones from the undead monsters that were messing around with him. As he opened his eyes to behold what was left of them, he was greeted with charred remains and bone fragments surrounding him. His magic ability was greatly improved since the last time he fought against enemies, and Yen Sid's final gift to them was quite the powerful spell indeed. He still felt grief over losing one of their most powerful allies though. Eraqus, Yen Sid, and members of the order were all taken down. He feared for the safety of Kaida and the rest of the group he fought with. Turning to see where else he could help, he stopped a skeleton dead in it's tracks as it was tippy toeing it's way to attack him before he turned around. The skeleton than focused it's attention on the charred remains of his skeleton brethren before looking back up to the keyblade wielder with an open jaw and unmoving eye sockets. Hikaru responded back with unamused squinting eyes causing the undead skeleton to back up slowly. Hikaru shook his head and pulled back his keyblade as he followed the skeleton step for step. The skeleton eventually bolted off, causing Hikaru to give chase. EXP: 25 Skeletons; 79/100 left
Well tell her that I miss our little talks
So I watched an episode, and find it's definitely... distracting. Bright colors, characters are all over the place and if you can ignore the plot and just enjoy the modern humor, it's an alright show. I think I only genuinely laughed at two moments though. It's target audience remains the same, but seeing as it's a cartoon, I can't be too critical of it. It's at least an improvement, even if not a big one. If more creativity is shown, I might look into it more.
Don't recognize much cast either. Only Amanda Schull and Aaron Stanford (Solely as Pyro from the X-Men films)
~MISSION COMPLETE!~ Hikaru blinked as the cartoon finished, and curtain fell over the window, closing it. He was still unsure if it was meant to be a dram or not as the images of the skeletons and the design of the castle seemed a little too surreal. Mickey had gone through a hellish laboratory, which for all they know, could still exist in the future DisneyTown. Something he would considering if and when they returned back to the present. Aden and others had suggested opening the doors with the skull on it. Something with a poisonous looking symbol wasn't always the kind of thing he would rush to, but seeing as they needed to check every window, Hikaru reluctantly went along. "Well if we gotta check em all." As he opened the pull string, he still shuddered a bit about the skeletons from before, but hopefully this skull themed world had nothing to do with actual skeletons. With a pull of the string, the window opened and curtain unveiled the cartoon. A bright light shined and sucked them all in! Hikaru covered his eyes and twitched his eyes as the light diminished onto a graveyard setting. "Graveyard... That's not too bad, right?" A sudden wind blew in and shook the trees. An owl appeared on a nearby tree, spinning it's head in horror as a wold howled in the back. Other such scary sights included black cats, and shivering tombstones. The enemy in question appeared in the most strangest of ways as four dancing skeletons emerged from the shadows and comedically danced onto the scene. His eye squinted at the odd sight. "... Okay..." He quietly said. A skeleton heard he was not entertained and no fun, which caused him to angrily throw his skull at Hikaru. Quickly ducking his head, he yelled back at them. "Hey! You got some kinda bone to pick or something!" More skeletons emerged and danced their way onto the scene, moving their unexplainable rubber limbs and put up their boney fists to prepare to fight. ~MISSION START!~ -------------------------------------------- ~MISSION COMPLETE!~ Raisor, Ananta, Kross, Kel and Steel spoke and walked along the road, still far behind the carriage, when a soldier heartless appeared to block it's path, followed by several Lance soldiers, which refused to let them get by. A scream by Minnie was heard in the background, followed by various evil chuckles. The princess needed help, but they first had to take care of this threat! ~MISSION START!~
Well, I encountered them usually by breaking stuff or spinning the merry go round in Christmas Town. Somtimes switching between worlds may help.

Captain Pete clopped along the now empty battle grounds where the musketeers trained, giggling villainously as he went into the shadows to meet with his shady underlings. "Alright beagle boys, this is the only other chance you'll get, so don't screw it up like you did last time!" The three he spoke to consisted of masked robbers with dark uniforms and brown hoods. "But we did just like you said and dropped ze safe on ze princess!" the shortest one claimed in his high pitched french accent. Captain Pete merely gritted his teeth and sighed. "I didn't say DROP a safe, ya dolt! I said KEEP her safe!" He grabbed the shortest and picked him up by his hood. "Well that's good... cause we missed her!" The second beagle boy spoke. Being one of the two taller ones he fashioned a cockney accent. Dropping the beagle boy back onto the ground, he began to grow infuriated. "Listen you mutts! I gotta plan, see? AND IT AIN'T TO KILL THE PRINCESS! It's to kidnap her!" "Huh?" the three asked in unison. "Da Opera... It's tonight..." he reminded them. "The Princess has gotta be GONE by then! Or I can't become king!" Captain Pete's plan was now revealed, with no one to witness the devious intentions behind his actions. "Oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh!" They understood as they held on to their sound of understanding. "I... don't get it," the shortest added. "Oh! Oh! Wait! I do!" The third exclaimed in his deeper cockney voice. "We follow them musketeers, right? Cut em off at the pass and then snatch em whiles they on route!" "Finaly some competence! Now that that's all understood, think you might have some spare time to go and snatch da princess?" he asked in a sweet and sarcastic tone. "Yeah, I think," the shortest checked his watch. "Well quit thinkin' and do it! The opera's tonight and-" Captain Pete blinked as that was the second time the camera moved from him. Choosing to ignore it, he continued to scold the three. |The job's gotta be done by then, remember?!" "So what do we do when we've got her?" "I want you to grab her, find a remote tower somewhere and lock 'er away for ever so knows one can ever find her again! Yah got me, dinkbats?!" "But uhh... what about them other blokes?" "Yeah, now it's eight against three! And it's unfair if they the only ones that are cheating!" "You leave the extra punks to me! When dey first showed up, I discovered some little critters that followed that have apparently taken quite da likin' to me!" He turned around and yelled out. "Hey small fries! Get in here!" As he beckoned, soldier heartless appeared before him from the voids of darkness. "Blimey... what the heck are they?" "Who cares! They listen to me, see? So go cut em off before yah miss em!" "Sure thing boss!" they saluted as the three left off to leave Pete with the heartless soldiers. "And you guys get movin' too! Grab ll your little buddies and cut off those key wielding nimrods so theys can get da job done without any interruptions!" The soldiers nodded and faded back into darkness to leave the Captain to chuckle in his villainous plot. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mickey gazed over at Karina who didn't seem to be interested at all in helping his cause. Not that he could blame her, he still wanted to show that they were no hard feelings. He looked along the ground as he thought in his head what might cheer her up, or at least gain some form of favored forgiveness. His eyes lit up after having thought of something. "Your name's Karina, right?" he asked, having overheard her name being thrown around. He tried to keep his face straight, so he didn't come off more happy than he usually was. She seemed to frown more than his master ad he wanted to keep things serious. "I'm awfully sorry you were put in that situation and I thank you and your friends for helping me out back there... I just wantya to know... that you don't have to help if you don't want to... I mean you've already done more than enough already." He gave off a weak smile before continuing. "Ya know... I'm trying to be a keyblade master too under the teachings of my master. I don't really know if I'll ever get as strong as you..." His smiled faded a bit before growing bigger at the thought of something happier. "But that's just something else I can work towards! Being strong so I can protect the ones I care about!" He turned to the others to announce his course of action to try and find the other spells. "Using Master Yen Sid's spell book, I can open up portals for you to find the missing spell pieces. I've already got the first one!" MISSION COMPLETE! Stratos leveled up! (22) "There are still six more that I need to find. Normally Master Yen Sid would open the world, while I travel through it, but I hafta keep the world open now it seems..." He ran to the bookcase to find and opened a book entitled "Fantasia" and began to move his hands as if was conducting a symphony. A small portal opened with the image of lilypads on a pond waiting on the other side. "Once you've found the piece, just return back so I can open the next one!" he turned to Karina. "Of course, no one has to help if they don't wanna, hsha!" He tried to make sure she knew that he was fine with her lack of participation. "I'm just happy to have people helping out... I would be glad to have any one of you on my team!" ~MISSION START!~
Base takes October! D'daear takes November! Crowns have been awarded! Voting for December begins now!
~MISSION COMPLETE!~ Ananta leveled up! (24) Steel leveled up! (24) Mickey and goofy had finished suiting up and joined the other six in their newly appointed costumes. "I knew we had what it takes!" "Cause we're clever!" chimmed in Goofy. "And Brave!" Donald added. "And together, we are gonna be great big heroes! Whaddya say men? hehe, and women!" Mickey, Donald and Goofy held up their swords in royal fashion prepared to make a vow of some kind. Since the rest of the group didn't really follow the protocol, Donald stepped near them and whispered. "We're trying to do the thing... You know! All for one-" "And two for tea!" Goofy finished. Donald slapped his forehead and looked at his ill-informed fellow musketeer. "W-well... we'll work on it! hehe..." Always optimistic, Mickey and friends were prepared to move out to see what special assignment Captain Pete had prepared for them. Outside the courtyard Captain Pete presented himself with great intimidation to all the new recruits. "Alright men! Are you ready to recieve your assignment!" "You bet we are Captain Pete!" Mickey jumped. "I bet you are," Pete teased as he chuckled. "Now your very important mission as recruits is to escort the princess on her royal errands. As you know, she was almost incompetently assassinated today, which means you need to have a keen eye out for any bad bad guys!" "Don't you worry Captain Pete, with the 8 of us-" Pete stopped Goofy before he could finish. "Whoa there doofus- I mean! Musketeer Goofy, ehehe.. That carriage is only taking you, the duck, and half pint. Rest gotta walk behind you!" "Oh," Mickey said in disappointment. "Well, you guys won't be too far back, right?" "Oh but I'm afraid they gotta be," Pete insisted. "Bad guys could be following from afar and you don't want anything to ruin today for the princess, do you? Not on the night of the Opera?!" The camera switched from Pete, to a poster advertising the opera tonight. Shifting back to Pete, he shoved Mickey, Donald and Goofy to load up the carriage, while he stared down at the keybladers. "You five wait a few minutes before followin, ya hear?!" ~MISSION START!~ ----------------------------------------------------------------------- "Well, it's as good as option as any," Hikaru noted. He turned to Horace and asked; "So how do they work?" Horace chuckled. "Wow, you folks really are knew, aren't you? Well it ain't too hard to get the scheme of things. Some you can watch, and some you can jump in... But I'll let y'all figure out which is which." Hikaru thought for a moment, but it seemed to make as much sense as anything else they'd seen thus far. "Fair enough. Thanks Horace!" Per Aden's suggestion, he stepped in front of the 4th window and opened both doors to reveal a small curtain with a string. "Guess this is the one we watch." ~MISSION START!~
The woman was greeted with open arms as her niece opened the doors. "Oh come now, what kind of a greeting is that to your Aunt Mallory, dear?" She jumped into the room and before inspecting anything squeezed the thin woman tightly in an embracing hug. "Now let us have a look at you," She insisted upon releasing her. She has grown a few inches since they last met face to face, but her hair remained unchanged. Her beauty was still as youthful as ever and her dresses were common enough to make her mother disapprove. Something she always looked forward to. "Oh god, you've blossomed into such a beautiful young woman Aurora. I just want to cast a spell on you, so you'll sleep forever and never age, haha!" She teased, but her choice of words were very unsettling. "And this cottage, it's so, so..." She looked around to the rustic furniture, and wooden architecture. "Homey... and common. Your mother would never approve." She walked around and acted quite snobbish, taking a finger and gathering a small line of dust off the windowsill. "So naturally... I do." She spun around and shot a devilish grin before peeking into her bag. "But alas, we do not have time for pleasantries. So much work to do!" She pulled out a parcel with Roseguard's royal insignia on the wax stamp. "Your mother knows you've rejected the thought to attend the royal summit today, but seeing as how you haven't replied to any, she sent widdle ol' me to convince you." Mallory had developed a reputation of nasty doings by many citizens of her own nation for releasing the dark cloud. As one of the Godmothers who sealed the dark wizard more than the decade ago, she retired her mantle as 'a powerful fairy and returned to her royal duties alongside her sister; Evelynne. Queen of Roseguard. Though she was dubbed as evil though, she rarely let it affect her. She had learned to tolerate the names and slander, and love the more precious things in life, such as protecting Aurora. She had even helped purify Briar Creek so that it would be safe to stay there. "So, I obviously can't just barge into your home and make demands all willy nilly. That would be just plain rude. And while, I do respect your decision to remain in isolated bliss... I can't say the same for your mother." She went by her kitchen table and took a seat placing fingers against her forehead. "Oh I can't tell you the days where I've seen her just lying in your room, staring at your bed with tears rolling down her face. It pains me to just see her wallow like that." She looked at the corner of her eye to see if Aurora was watching. "Naturally I told her; 'Evee, she's a big girl now and can make her own decisions,' but she always just turns to me and asks me such a hurtful question... 'Am I a bad mother?" She placed the summoning envelope on the table, and begun to spin it around with one hand, as the other pressed a fist against her cheek. "And so I told her that she was a wonderful mother and that little Aurora wouldn't reject coming without a valid reason- Which I'm sure you do. To not be responding to your love filled letters with such equal love- which I'm sure you did." She stopped spinning the letter and transitioned to laying back against the chair with her arms folded. "With what magic I have left, I can change shape, teleport, and even materialize windows... Now if only I had learned the spell to stop her from crying so much," she sighed.
Now we wait...
