He sighed, "It should be and it is in my rule book. Right next to the Creed." Even slower than before, he undressed her, kissing whatever he uncovered. "Why is it that I'm always being attacked when this happens. I'm starting to think it's a fetish of yours."
He frowned, "Then something must be done about this. No woman absolutely doesn't enjoy herself in my bed." He rolled them over and kissed along her neck. "Before I asked you what you wanted. Tonight I only ask that you enjoy yourself. Relax."
Alec frowned at his book, "Our home is deep in the forest. It's the only way we can hide from the pure breeds and still have an effect on the war." He cast a yellow-eyed glance at her over his shoulder, "Don't worry, it's rather nice. Though I wouldn't expect to see me often."
Sorcha went on to explain the differences in light and dark angels, "Stronger, smarter, faster. Basically, better in almost every way." Devlin couldn't take his mother's babbling about how much better dark angels were, "I heard you married a light angel. He wasn't better than you was he? Why'd you marry him?" Sorcha stopped and looked at her son with a slight smile, "He gave me a wonderful son who I cherish." Devlin snorted, "Would it kill you to show that once in a while?" he said a little too loudly. Sorcha frowned.
Alec waved off her apology, "Don't worry about it. I get that all the time. It's why I choose to stay away from everyone else more." He opened his book and felt along with his powers. Though his energy to use them was rapidly decreasing he kept using until he would be tired enough to sleep for once.
Zane smiled at her, he only smiled with her, "Would you rather have me sleep with my falcon? I'm afraid I might crush the poor thing. Dearest Mya," he brushed his lips across her collar bone, "I sleep with you and you seem to quite enjoy my company in bed. Would you rather I stop and not sleep with you?"
What?! And I though pretzels were the only thing chocolate covered! I want some now! I want some pickles and some ice cream and some chocolate covered buiscit sticks and some....other food stuffs.
Alec stopped smiling immediately, "No," he said gruffly, "Only half. I'm a were-pire like you and Innes. Though my father is the one I take after more of." He turned on his heel, "C'mon, I can smell that you're hurt."
Zane relished that she was more responsive to him now. "You're delirious. Obviously you didn't get enough sleep." His mind raced back to a time with his older sister and her new fiance. He hadn't liked him at all. Zane moved the shoulder of her clothes down and bit her lightly. His mind still on the past.
Sorcha gave a delicate snort, "Let us begin. Anyone not here is accountable for their own actions." Sorcha took center stage, Children, half-angels, allow me to introduce myself. I am Sorcha Coran, your dark magics teacher. You have all discovered your angelic powers and thus your time here in this school will teach you to use them for your benifit. Whether you are light or dark, does not matter much in the beginning, but you will see sublte differences in each other as you grow and continue to learn all you can. Becoming a full fledged angel isn't something that happens overnight."
Zane grinned, stronger now and held her close to him, "I don't think I can ever stop. And trouble with women? That doesn't sound like me. I'm a charmer, not a trouble maker." he kissed along her neck and jawline.
Alec's yellow eyes stared at her hand for a moment before accepting it. A brief premonition came to him but it was too foggy to see so he dismissed it and accidentally smiled, showing her his slight vampire fangs.
Zane stroked her back, "Oh? Care to elaborate? I think I've survived through a good chunk of the other stuff."
Zane pulled her to him, "Not as much as you think. But I've never been poisoned before. Shot, stabbed, almost decapitated, nearly crippled, but never poisoned. You'd think I'd survived it all by now." He willed a smile that probably wasn't very successful at making himself look very lively.
Oh Noes! is that where they've been hiding? LOL Get out of my room. What's more awsome than pickles is...nothing! Nothing can be more awsome than pickles. They're freaking amazing!
Zane touched his chest, "Right. I think that might have come off that bolt. What kind of guy shoots me with a poisoned bolt? This guy has access to some serious stuff and apparently really badly wants me dead. Worse than Garth did."
Oh snap! Haha, I don't remember that day. maybe. Is that the first thing that comes to mind? June 8th 2008? and chicken nuggets? I can see what you did that day~
Zane nearly coughed up all the liquid but a good majority had slipped down his throat. Feeling slowly returned to him. He smiled weakly and slowed his frantic breathing, "Th-thanks Mya. You've always got my back. What the hell was that anyway?" The archer frowned, after a few minutes he should've seen the assassin's start preparing a funeral for their lost comrade. How had Zane survived? He ripped up a small plant and tore it to shreds, "This can't be! He's supposed to die!" He stalked off, away from the villa and back into town, shoving people out of his way.
Sure....I think somebody's been reading my mind again. or you hacked into a gov't satilite and read what it read of my mind. OR you snuck into my room, stole the billions of billions of journals, some of which are fake, and read them, discovered the secret code and read that, then hacked my computer and read that journal and then read my mind. Just kidding I don't write about you. I plan world domination. SHHHH, don't tell the president he's about to have a rude awakening.
Zane squeezed his eyes shut. His heart was racing much too fast. It felt like it would beat right out of his chest. The burning sensation still ravaged him and he gripped the bed tightly. He bared his teeth and hissed, "What is this...!" Feeling began to ebb from him.
