He laughed and slipped off his hood, his brown hair had streaks of gray but his blue eyes were lively and burning with hatred, "I should've figured you wouldn't recognize me by my voice. It's me stupid." Zane suddenly wanted to hurt something, "I remember. You're Annabelle's fiance. Is she...she's alright isn't she?" He shook his head sadly, "Annabelle died a year ago." Zane dropped to his knees, "She's....dead? B-but how...?" "Her sickness got worse you idiot. Annabelle knew she would die that's why she moved. When we heard her family was attacked by Garth...now I know that was a long time ago, but I came as fast as I could to avenge them. But lookie who I found. A boy who apparently forgot about his older sister."

Cara lifted her head, saw the writing and scowled at Zalera, "Zalera..." she sighed and looked mournfully at Hattori, "I can't deal with all that and the present. It's hard enough to think that my sister has to fend for herself against something I don't even know about. I can't think about all the times I've apparently failed to protect her." Zalera wrote impatiently, 'The past doesn't have to repeat itself. I can protect you this time.'
Cara sat next to Minato and Hattori and thumped her head on the table. Zalera brushed a stream of frost across the table, writing, 'She refuses to accept her past. I'm out of ideas.'
Cara looked like she was about to cry again, "Oh...sorry." Zalera turned his eyeless eyes away from Toya and Cara and looked toward Minato and Hattori.
Cara stopped and a look sadder than she had a real right to express folded over her face. "Hmm, who are you?" Zalera nudged her and she added, "Uh, sir."
Mickey laughed in that overly annoying happy way of his, "I'm just me." Xenree rolled her eyes, "He's a mouse, Mage. He's also the King of Disney Castle. Lord Xemnas told me all about you." Mickey's eyes widened, "Xemnas?! He's back!? Oh, dear!" Xenree waved off his words, "Hmph, he's not the one you should be worried about. I'll be back for that stone, little King."
Cara thumped down the stairs with Zalera behind her, whispering things to her he thought she should know. She turned on her heel and glared at him, "I get it. All that matters to you, but why tell me if I'm going to die and forget it?!" He fell silent and she continued on her path toward any person she could distract her thoughts with.
Cara's memories flooded back to her of times and places she'd never been or seen. Her song ended with a horrid clash of notes, "That's it Zalera! Stop this!" He sweeped his winged arm around her, "...there are some things...that you need to remember..." "There's nothing I should remember about those old lives!"
Cara cried softly as she played. Her heart ached and she had no idea why. Lesa and Sky wandered the town before she brought him to the garden. "I haven't seen you in forever. Do you...still love me, Sky?" He smiled, "Of course I do. How could I forget you."
Cara touched her fingers gently along the piano. She sighed and flipped through the music. Zalera stood beside her and stopped her on a sad piece. She settled down an began to play. The sorrowful music filling the house.
Sorcha tapped an elegant finger against her jawbone, "Do not give me that look. I'll remind you that my late husband was also one of the few that first fell. His experience wasn't one that he liked to remember or talk about. He kept it a secret from me!" Devlin shot up from his seat, "That's enough Mother! I think you've probably brought that up a dozen times before. It wasn't dad's fault. You just overreacted!" Sorcha narrowed her blazing green eyes, "Silence!" The wind picked up outside again and she stepped back into the shadows of the auditorium.
Zane walked back to where Garth had cornered him. Lying on the ground was his old pendent. The gold was tarnished from people stepping on it but the picture was okay. He smiled and picked it up, pulling out the picture from the little space in it and unfolded it into a larger picture. The part he'd folded behind held a beautiful young woman with golden blonde hair. She was laughing at the young Zane and the little girl hanging off him. "My sisters...Catrina, I miss you...Annabelle, I'm sorry." The archer glared as he followed Zane from the villa into town and listened as he spoke, "You have no right speaking Annabelle's name!" Zane whirled around at that voice, "You!" He glared at the cloaked figure, "You're the one that shot me! How do you know Annabelle?"
Luce shifted her car into park next to Adam's car. She sighed heavily, "I hate forest rangers." She cast a look over at Tatum and quickly added, "Not for who they are, but...personal reasons." Before opening her door she pointed to the lock, "Lock your door when you get out. I don't need any sketchy forest rangers pokin' around in my car." She opened the back door and pulled out her favorite double-barrel shotgun and her backpack. Leaning her shotgun on her shoulder, she walked up next to Adam and listened to the ranger. Her initial hatred of forest rangers kicked in and she fiddled with her pistols.
The King gave her a kind smile, "I'm not a Nobody. A Nobody --" Xenree snarled at him, "Quiet! That's for me to tell if I choose." She tipped Mage's head up to her, "A Nobody is a person without a heart. When those of a strong will loose their heart, a Nobody is created from the original person."
Sorcha's sulfur green eyes bore into him, "Yes, do explain to us. How did it feel to have our Lord's love leave you as he cast you from Heaven?" Her tone implied a deep lasting hatred of Toby and the reincarnated girl.

OOC: Yea me too BIC: Zane smiled and snuck out of her room. Heading downstairs, he ran into a few other assassins. They gave him friendly punches and he shoved them off, "Hey, guys miss me?" They laughed, "Hell no. We were betting on if you were dead. Where did you go yesterday man? We swear your little friend Mya, had a guy in her room last night." Zane feigned interest, "Oh? Mya? Isn't she the 19 year old? A little young to be sleeping with guys don't you all think?" They laughed hysterically, "Dude, you are so dumb. No she's not. We thought it would've been you but she says your not her style. Whatever that means." Zane frowned, "Well thats just fine with me. She's too young for me. I'd rather not sleep with any younger girls for a while. Makes me feel self-conscious when they get all, 'you were my first' stuff." More laughter and Zane headed toward town. He mumbled to himself, "Idiots."
Zane leaned over her and kissed her lightly on the lips, "Well, I can't stay here all morning. Somebody might get suspicious. You know? Missing Reaper is not good to the others. I'll just pop in downstairs on them and then I have to go into town and look for a little something I lost."
