Gabriel smiled harshly, "What makes you think this is only a threat? I'm by far older than you boy. The dark ages was the result of my fall." He shrugged, "If you won't open one, I'll have to. I've been here long enough to know how." He thought back to his promise to Sorcha, he'd promised not to use his powers anymore.
Gabriel snarled and gripped the young angel's shirt, "Open another portal. So help me, if you don't, I swear I'll rip your head off."
Gabriel shot a dark look at her, "Then what are you suggesting? That we go with her and make sure she doesn't mess up our lives?" He sighed and though, Young angels...what can you do...even mortals want to understand us.
Eden shied down in her seat and nudged Ashley, "Why don't you go?"
Gabriel bared his teeth in a feral snarl, "I don't care who's past she changes. For the incompetent idiot who travels back in time, she could alter many futures depending on who she talks to." Gabriel let him go and gestured to the rip in time, "Fine, go. See if I care. Just don't screw with my life. Leave me alone."
OOC: Kay, night. BIC: Zane gave her a friendly wink and finished strapping on his belt and bracers. He sighed, "I guess we should go now." He touched the small of her back and held the door open for her.
OOC: lol well they're young. BIC: Zane rolled his eyes, "I see somebody is in a good mood this morning. No, Mya it takes a lot to frighten me." He grinned at her and brushed some of her hair from her face, "Alright, sleepy head. We've got work to do." He slowly donned his gear.
*skip* It was almost 8 when Zane woke and pulled away from Mya's warmth. He had to be ready and so did she. He'd let her sleep long enough, "Mya," he gently shook her shoulder and leaned over her, "Mya, it's almost time. We have to get going to meet the others." He genlty kissed her to wake her up.
Zane suddenly didn't like his own slow pace. He helped her with her clothes and threw off the rest of his, he smiled down at her, "To be more than your friend...that may not be what all guys dream of but it has been my dream for a while now."
His kisses followed along her collarbone. Zane pulled at her clothes and growled softly deep in his throat as he kissed her mouth again.
Zane grinned, "Prompt isn't he? That seems to give us just enough time." He pulled her head back and kissed her throat. He was already half undressed but he made no move to hurry himself and undress Mya.
Zane gently picked her up and carried her to one of the beds. He set her down on the bed and followed. Running his hands through her hair he whispered, "What time are the other assassins going to be here tomorrow?"
Zane's breath caught in his throat and he tucked her under his chin, close to his heart. "Somedays I wish I'd never stepped into that practice room, but things like this make me glad I did. You moved like a cat back then and nothing's changed. You and your damned cat-like cutness has wormed it's way into my life and my heart. I've avoided being anyone's anything for my entire life. To be asked to be more than a friend...it's unbelievable and...enjoyable." He lowered his face to her and softly touched his lips to hers.

Zane put his own hand over hers and mumbled, "I understand perfectly. But there's one thing you don't understand about me. I don't do relationships, I don't do friendships. It's why I only have one night stands. It's better that way. No one gets hurt, no one feels guilty the other didn't write or call on them again the next day. But you..." he turned and took her face between his hands, "You insist I'm your friend, you watched me kill those two guys from the bar, even if I can't really remember it, I remember you crying. I'm sorry Mya, but you've chosen the worst possible friend ever."
