Xone's dark corridor opened up just barely outside the core's area. He ducked behind a wall and pulled up his hood for better disguse. "Place seems lively enough." Wires sparked here and there and things were still melting from where the missles had exploded on it.
Zane lifted her face to his with a finger under her chin, "Once I tell Zee I'll meet you back here okay? Then we'll handle the rest of the day."
Xone waved his hands, "Uh, no thanks, I get motion sickness. I'd prefer my own way." He lifted one hand out in front of him and opened a dark corridor, "Easy as walking."
Xone narrowed his gray eyes, feeling them start to tinge red, "Then what do you propose we do Kenneth? Stand around like gawking civilians? We gonna help or run?" He'd given him an ultamatum. The choice was his, nothing else affected Xone so why should he care what he chose.
Xone rolled his eyes, "Of course she did. Kenneth, there's nothing we can do to help either of them. You said so yourself. What do you want to do, fly the gummi ship up there and get us all killed?!"
Xone rubbed his hands together, "Then should we just leave? Would they even notice if we up and left?" He shrugged, "If there's nothing we can do..." he let the sentence hang if anyone came up with an idea to do something.
Zane got up and tossed her clothes at her, "This will be another long day. I can feel it already." he rolled his shoulders as he strapped on the lightweight armor under his cloak.
Xone was getting nervous around Keyblades, "Isn't there anything we can do?!"
Xone blinked, unsure of what had just happened, "W-what just happened?"
Zane laughed and kissed her lightly, "And what would make you happy, my love."
Xone growled, "I think they're picking a fight."
Zane kissed her forhead and smirked, "I suppose so. But not today. Today I have to tell Zee the truth, so I do have to get up."
Zane leaned down next to her ear and whispered, "Y'know, when you purr it makes me not want to get up at all."
Xenree struggled vainly with Mage, "L-let me go...." She exhaled and lay still for a long time before lifting her hand to the sky, "Let me rest for a while Mage. I wish...Xemnas hadn't saved me...." The Castle that Never Was~ Xemnas lifted his voice, "Everyone..." everyone's head snapped to Xemnas, "Xenree's progress has been slow. Kingdom Hearts is threatened by another of Xehanort's offspring like me. What I'd like to know is how she and the experiment are together. Xenree won't last with her. I must stay close to Xenree at all times to take the hearts from her to Kingdom Hearts." Marluxia twirled a flower between his fingers, "Xone has allied himself with other Keyblade wielders. He too, will follow Xenree in hopes of freeing her from darkness. Hehe, though I don't think he will be successful." Another figure who hadn't pulled off his hood yet sat up straighter, "If you make me want it, I'll go after Xone. He always was one of the ones I didn't like." Another laughed, "So if anything goes wrong with Xone later, we can rely on you to take him out?" The other one shied down in his chair, "What? Oh, no, y'know, meanial work isn't really my thing."
Xaldin disappeared through a dark corridor and Xenree struggled to stand. She felt like she'd caught the flu. Her blood rushed in her ears and her limbs felt heavy, "D-don't. Just...d-don't." she braced herself against a wall, "You sh-shouldn't be around me for a while after...I get the n-next heart. I can't...do this so soon." She hobbled along the wall away from Mage, toward a large palace.
Zane woke at dawn. He inhaled her scent before sitting up.
He stopped advancing toward her, "You ate the pure heart of the Princess Belle. Because of this..." he stopped his line of thought as Xenree gripped his boot, "It's there. It doesn't matter. I'm...just not used to...something so pure....being ripped from me. Belle's heart is a part of Kingdom Hearts, what she ate...was what was left. The light...that's w-what matters...it's apart of Kingdom Hearts. Ple...ase...Xaldin...don't...h-hurt her..." Xaldin removed his lances from around Mage and kicked off Xenree's hand, "You're lucky we still need you. She gets ahold of a heart that still has it's light...I'll kill you and her myself."
He let Xenree slip off his lap and to the ground. Walking toward her he rumbled, "Xemnas does things for his own reasons. What I need to know right now, is...which one didn't you completely kill. Who's consciousness have you absorbed little experiment?" He pulled off his hood, shaking out the long dreadlocks, "What's important to Xemnas would be, is the light from that heart you ate, like a horrible creature you are, already in Kingdom Hearts?"
Zane's body relaxed and he kissed her passionately. *skip*
Xone stood next to her and lightly touched his chest thinking, "That was wierd. Almost like....I felt something." He scratched his head and cleared his throat, "So, where off to first? We could follow the path of Xemnas and look for the princesses. I...I know a few of them personally."
