Axel shivered and lay there for a while before heaving himself to his feet, "Hmph, and here I thought I'd finally be able to join my friend in darkness. Oh well, I've got a lot more things to do." Axel touched his chest wound and fell to his knees, "You want to know something about Xenree and Xone, Kenneth...?"
Axel laughed and winced, "If you'd be so kind... You've proven your strength in this battle. The next...you'll have to do better."
Most of Kenneth's spell melted but one shard struck Axel in his chest, knocking him from the wall and the fire disappeared. Everything went back to normal and the dusks retreated. Axel lay on the ground, struggling to remove the long shard from his chest. Wherever he touched it, the ice burned him.
Zane caught Zee's shoulder, "Zee..." Zee lifted his hand, removed the glove and bared the odd little lion on the back of his hand, "I made you a promise didn't I? I'm gonna keep it, no matter how much it hurts me Reaper...Zane." Zane felt his entire body stiffen, "I'm sorry Zee..." Zee shook his head, replaced his glove and gripped Zane's shoulder, "Don't worry about me." OOC: I have to go.
A thick wall of flame shot from the ring of fire at Kenneth with Axel leading the way, "How's this feel for ya!" The dusks kept coming, like endless waves of white.
Axel shook his head, "I'm not the fool, you are." Dusks appeared all over the temple area inside and outside the ring of fire and Axel backed up into the flames, disappearing in the burning mass as the dusks drew closer.
Axel stopped, smiling, "That's supposed to what? Scare me?" he chuckled and fire burst from around him, turning the floor to a hot crust of magma. It was stable enough to stand and fight on but it was extremely hot to those the fire wasn't obeying's feet. The puddle sizzled, evaporating and Axel smirked, bigger flames blazing around his chakrams.
Is anyone okay when they choose to drink on a thursday afternoon?

Axel wasn't about having fun. He dodged the orb and caught the chakram on it's rebound back to him and charged at Kenneth. Clashing with him for a brief second before throwing another chakram at him, this one's fire burned hotter and had larger flames licking around the edges, "Burn baby, burn!" he shouted and threw the other one, just as hot and flaming as the last.
Oh I think he will be. I promised I wouldn't do this again.

Axel ignored all others, "Haha, alright then..." he spread his arms, and flaming chakrams sizzled into reality in his hands. He lifted his head and grinned, "Don't you go and die on me now." A ring of fire encircled them, forming a duel-like area. Axel lifted one chakram to the opposite side of his head and threw it at him. The spinning spikes burned with fire.
I guess I deserved it. I suppose I don't deserve the right to be happy anymore...... The universe is against me being happy and so are it's...
