Roxas told Xion what he suspected had happened, "Xemnas messed with Renee's memories. Everyone in her memories felt the chill. I'm not sure if that's what really happened or how but I remember when I lost my memories of you. It was so cold for the longest time." Xion frowned, "That has to be the oddest thing you've said all day." Xenree cringed away from Mage and darkness shot up, surrounding her in a barrier of dark thorns. Chillls shook her body as she curled in a ball in her circle of dark thorns. Axel caught up, panting, "What's going on?"
Zane ignored her Uncle's betrayal and focused on the templar captain, "Plans? What plans!?" he demanded. Zee squeaked beside him, afraid of Zane's pissed off tone.
Akira was momentarily distracted my Leo's "Oh, wow" and Lightning got a few punches and kicks in to her stomach. Akira dropped to one knee and quickly cartwheeled to the side, dodging Light's well aimed vertical slash. Akira scolded herself for getting distracted and so did Light, "Don't get distracted! Keep your head in the battle at all times or else you'll be killed in battle. No mercy, Akira!" Akira blocked her slash again and pushed hard on Lightning's blade, trying to get herself to her feet. Light felt herself budge slightly from Akira's persistent pushing. She dropped down and kicked her feet out from under her crouched position. Sending Akira sprawling to the grass. Light stood in the momentum of her spin and held her blade to Akira's throat, "That's enough." she almost panted, "You've learned well, Akira, but your weakness is being distracted. Keep your head in the fight, even if that means putting yourself in a difficult position."
Roxas saw Xion step out of her room, rubbing her shoulders. He frowned, "Did everyone feel it?" He ran to meet Xion and they walked up to the bridge, hoping to keep away from everyone else. Xion noticed Roxas' lack of cheery mood, "Something happened while I was asleep, didn't it?" He nodded but didn't answer.
Roxas scowled at the floor, pain in his eyes from the memory, "No, you don't understand. Xenree's not..." he looked up at Gamer, leaving his sentence unfinished. "Please tell me we're almost there."
Roxas jerked back from him as if he'd burned him, "Xenree!?" Roxas closed his eyes on the horrible images that rose up in his head of the Xenree he'd met in the darkness before they'd separated from Sora. That dark place just before the light where he'd met Axel again... Xenree glowered down at Roxas and he cringed, "Do I know you?" her silver eyes flashed, "No." her voice was horribly distorted and suddenly two large black bat wings spread from her back... Roxas opened his eyes and refused to meet Raoxthu's eyes after that memory.
Roxas sighed, "Yeah. I don't know how we'll stop Xemnas, but we will. Raoxthu...did Xemnas ever mention anything about how he was going to complete Kingdom Hearts this time?"
OOC: Night. BIC: Haru sighed and slapped the captain, "You idiot, I'm no assassin. I've been working closely with Conspirator Garth McHugh for a long time. In fact since before he destroyed my brother's home and killed his family. I've been playing assassin for the longest time to see just how well Reaper here gets along." Zane clenched his fist around his sword, "You...you tricked my father! You betrayed my family! Why!?" Haru shrugged, "I never liked being an assasssin. Too much, sneaking around. So I became a good and secret advisor to Garth. He treated me good and now I work for the others I suppose. Though not many know who I am."
Roxas blinked and closed his eyes, "So you felt it too. I swear I've only felt that once in my life before. When Xion died and my memories of her were fading away. You realize...this must mean something happened to Renee's memories." Xemnas sat smirking in the round room and Demyx complained, "Aw, why did you have to seal all of her memories?! Superior, that's not fair!" He ignored him, "This way, even when Raoxthu comes back for her...she won't remember him or her love for him."
Gabriel reached down and tilted Cory's face up to his, "Cory...I asked you a question. Do you want to fail my class?"
Renee sat in the white room staring blankly at nothing. Roxas got up and wandered down to Raoxthu's room, he wondered if anyone else had felt the cold. Knocking lightly, he hoped he wasn't going to get his head bit off.
Haru sighed and tripped a few of the guards before slicing through the others that had charged at Zane and Zee, "Captain...I trust you remember who I am?" Zane and Zee stood stock still, shocked to see Uncle Haru in Venice wearing templar clothes.
Xemnas lifted his face from hers and smiled, satisfied. Renee's brown eyes dulled and glazed over. Her memories of Raoxthu sealed and all her emotions locked tightly behind that seal. He set her down on the ground and she didn't move, "You understand why you are here, yes?" Her monotone voice recited, "I am here because of Xone. He needs to be eliminated." Xemnas narrowed his amber eyes, "And then?" She looked up at him with those glazed brown eyes, "And then, Xenree will take my heart and add it to Kingdom Hearts, for the better." he smiled again and patted her head.
Zane sighed and eyed the archers, "I suppose that's meant to scare me?" His lack of emotion made Zee nervous until they heard familiar laughter. Zane's Uncle stepped from behind the guards and clapped the captain on the shoulder, "Oh, that won't be necessary, sir. Zee and Reaper are only children." he was dressed as a Templar. Zane growled, "Uncle!" He smiled, his gray hair cut short and his pale blue eyes sparkled, "Please, boy call me Haru. It's insulting to be family to an assassin, I know, but what can you do?"
Renee woke curled in someone's lap. She looked around at the white room and then finally up at the deeply tanned face with that gray hair and amber eyes she knew too well, "Ahh, Xemnas!" Xemnas noticed her wake and smiled down at her, "You're safe now, child." She panicked and Xemnas touched her forehead with his hand, "You don't need those fearful memories. Any fear you have will also become Xenree's fear and I can't have my girl afraid of anything." he bent his head, "It will only hurt for a while" he kissed her and Renee felt a wave of painful ice shoot through her veins and along her ties to everyone she knew. Roxas shivered and gritted his teeth, icy pain coursed through him for a split second before ebbing. Xion shivered in her sleep and went through the same.
Xion sat on her bed as they took off, she looked around distastefully at the color scheme and snapped her fingers, changing it to grays and white. She rolled onto her side on the bed and closed her eyes, she might as well get some sleep while she was here. Roxas couldn't sleep. His mind worked at Xemnas and his new plot for Kingdom Hearts. He didn't have inside information this time but...he had to figure out a way to get Renee back. For Raoxthu, so he wouldn't be angry with Xion or himself. Roxas examined Oblivion, the Keyblade he'd gotten when Xion went back to Sora and he'd gotten Xion's memories.
Zane stared at the road ahead of them and noticed guards, more alert than the others. He stopped within distance of them hearing his voice, "I suppose you all are going to try to stop me from entering this place too?" Zee nervously stepped up beside him.
Xion stopped in the doorway of her room and Roxas smiled at her, "Afraid of sleeping alone tonight, Xion?" Xion blushed, "Wh-what!? N-no! I...hmph!" she slammed the door on his face and Roxas laughed and walked down to his room. He hesitated next to Sora's room, did Sora feel any different now that both his Nobodies were separated from him? Roxas shook his head and closed the door to his room on everyone else.
Xion and Roxas followed, feeling glum for letting Zexion take Renee. Roxas would get over it, he looked over at Xion, but would she? Xion felt his gaze and looked up, "I'm fine, Roxas." she smiled and he frowned, letting it drop as they followed them to the Neo Rare Witch.
Xion looked at the ground, "This is why...it was better when we relied only on each other, Roxas." Roxas sighed and pulled her to him, "No, it's good that we have friends again. Raoxthu will get over it and we'll get Renee back for him. Xemnas won't get away with this again."
