Zane pushed her head back from his arm and kissed her, "Hey now, no bitin'."
Zane let her hug his arm, brushing the slightly longer hair from his eyes. He needed a hair cut. He wrapped his other arm around her shoulders and kissed her forehead.

Lightning sighed, Taejin's Tower used to hold a fal'Cie. She wasn't absolutely sure that fal'Cie still resided there, but if it had healed from the beating it took all those years ago, it probably was just as sore about visitors in the Tower as it had been back then. She watched Snow run out after Mia. Why were kids always going off doing things they thought they could do on their own? She grabbed the camera from Leo and flipped through the rest of the pictures, all useless. "Then we train harder. No mercy now. Crystal l'Cie are much stronger for even l'Cie like me and Snow." Akira sighed, "Harder training? But I thought we were almost done?" She pulled at her hair. Akira decided her part in this discussion was over and jogged out of Oerba, running for the pure thrill of moving.

Zane tucked the covers around Mya, "How should I know. It came as just as a surprise to me as it may be to you. Uncle Haru has his issues but I never thought they were that bad." Zee nodded, "Yeah...I guess I'll leave you two alone then. Just, please, get yourself out of bed. We still have breakfast to eat and you know how long you take." Zane nodded and watched him shut the door behind him.
Lightning followed Akira out the door and examined the picture, "What do you know. A crystal l'Cie. I wonder which of the Cocoon fal'Cie branded them?" She stared at the picture for a moment longer without another word and closed her eyes, standing silent, thinking over their battle with Cid Raines all that time ago.

He smiled, kissed her hard and pulled her to him. *skip* Zane woke to the feeling of someone watching him. He opened one eye and noticed Zee leaning on the window sill. "You're such a pervert, Zee." He pulled the covers up to Mya's chin and tucked her closer to his body. Zee shrugged, "I'm a curious guy. I just came to let you know the ship leaves at noon. We can't stay here. And..." he trailed off and Zane lazily lifted his head, "And?" "And I want to know why Haru is with the Templars."
He laughed and leaned down to kiss her, "Not so bad, huh? Well I suppose I should take that as a compliment." He ghosted his lips over hers.
Zane eased her back onto the bed. He sat back after a while and ran his fingertips along her body, "You're so beautiful Mya."
Zane lightly nibbled on her neck and kissed her with as much longing as he'd felt from the first time he'd seen her in the villa. He had been young but he remembered that day. Zee and he were training, fighting hard in the cold weather when he'd first noticed Mya all bundled up against the cold. That was the only time Zee scored a hit on him in his lifetime. He'd brushed off the small cut and watched her for the remainder of the day, wishing he had some courage to speak to her. Zane pushed his memories away and deepened his kiss.

Zane felt a tremble run through him and kissed her, pulling her tight against him. He sighed and buried his face in her neck.
Zane cradled her face in his hands and kissed her nose, "Hey, don't give me that look. You're right, if I wasn't so determined to save you, Zee told me I would've died from a fever on that stupid boat." He thought about Zee for a moment, "Zee could've let me die, or not have come with me to save you, but he did. I'm not going to forgive him anytime soon but it's good to see where his loyalty lies."
