The Behemoth dropped to the ground, and lay unmoving, obviously dead. Lightning scowled at Leo, "You shouldn't have called them back. You learn to fight on your own or the Crystal l'Cie will pick you off like a weak link in a chain. You won't grow strong if you rely on friends." Turning her icy glare on Ryou as if she could read his mind she looked at Akira and turned her back to them thinking, Ignorant children. They'll listen to each other but not to their teacher. Zain walked to his room and grabbed his guitar. Strumming it he layed back on his bed and played Yuki's song. He fell asleep with his fingers on the strings still.
Lightning, to keep the Behemoth in the air and harmless, cast a wind spell and jumped up after it. Slicing it harshly a few times before dropping back to the ground. Akira pulled out of Ryou's grip, "Leo!" She ran back toward the Behemoth and pulled out Lionheart. "Lightning, heads up!" Light gave her a boost and Akira slashed the Behemoth. She fell back to the ground, windmilled and fell over.
Zain painfully explained again how uninterested he was in dating. In summary, she cried he walked away and headed for home again. Twirling his lance around his arm he noticed how empty the day was going to be.
He stood, grabbed his lance from his room and ran out the door. Zain headed toward the school, his intent fully on locating a girl who'd involved herself far too much in his life.
Zain felt his cheeks grow hot, "Heh thanks. I've thought about it but for now I'm going to focus on my training." Orphan hissed his good morning finally and Zain couldn't help but smile.
Clambering down the mast with Mya tightly held to him, he pulled her to their quarters.
Zain set their food down and started eating. Yawning again he took a long drink of orange juice.
Zain obliged her and cracked another egg into the pan, "Your wish is my command." he smiled like never before.
Zain set the plate down and poured her a glass of juice, "All that coffee can't be good for a well balanced morning. Drink something healthy and eat your food. I guarantee you'll be up for more training." He started on the other omlettes.
Zain laughed and dropped one omlet on a plate, "Who wants first dibs?!"
As Zain poured over the stove he glanced over at them, "So, Sakuya, you get breakfast at that one place often? What no home cooking?"
