Well, as Myst said, there is no rule against that. Whatever happened between HoT and White-Rose-Aki in regards to Paine and Yuna from KH is between them. But the rules are clear. There can be the same character from two different universes. And I remembered that there are also two Sasukes from Naruto.

Same people, but different universes. For example, the Jafar I'm using is from the Aladdin movie, but there can surely be another Jafar from Kingdom Hearts (but I have no interest in doing that now. I've got other plans...)
