Orphan's newly purple scaled body blocked the sword from touching Zain, "If you are not a child, then grow up and act like a man! Massster are you...?" Orphan tugged the needle from Zain's neck and dropped it to the ground. "Get up masssster. We mussst end thissss. For Yuki'ssss sssake." Zain's body convulsed and his shadow traits broke through his illusion spell. Fangs bared and long enough to look worse than a vampire, eyes streaked red and new spines speared from his spine.

He let go of Rio, trusting he'd stay there and walked until he was standing in front of Lady Shiv, "I'll kill you anywhere, anytime." Her malicious laughter rang out as she stroked his cheek with a long fingernail, "You're black blood...do you want to keep how you are if you win?" He nodded, "I'll find a way to reverse what you've done to me. It's my burden to bear." he opened his mouth to say more but she shoved a needle into his neck and he felt the shadow liquid surge into his bloodstream. His body shaking, he swung his lance at her and she jumped impossibly high onto the orphanage's roof.

Zain kept his growl inside him and gripped Rio's shoulder tight enough to break his bones if he moved again, "A fight to the end. I win, you die. If you win and I'm still alive...I'll go back to the orphanage, I'll..." he grimanced as he spoke, "I'll be yours again." Her sweet smile cracked and serrated teeth poked from under her lips as she spoke, "Agreed my child. But keep that one out of it. If Rio interferes all terms are off and you lose by forfit. The orphanage was silent. Lady Shiv's laughter, cruel and cold, echoed through the empty halls. Her power surged on Rio and flung him back out of the orphanage. Zain sighed and rubbed his head, "Lady Shiv! I don't suppose you'd let anyone enter that orphanage? I'm calling you out on what you are! You're not human, how long have you been a shadow!? What merciless experiments have you done to the other poor children along with me?!" Her laughter followed by howls of the shadows answered his questions. "I see... Then Lady Shiv, I demand you meet me on my own terms!"
Xone stared in disbelief at Daisuke and the heartless, "What's going on?" he'd never seen this happen before and his concern for Daisuke overrode his good sense to fight. "Daisuke!" Chasing after him and the Heartless, Xone gripped his scythe tightly in his hand. Xenree stood and nervously met Renee's brown eyes, "I'm...sorry for all the trouble I caused you. I should've seen that Xemnas was only using me...but I..." Renee smiled, "Yes you should've noticed but you were only looking for someone to help you place blame for our destroyed home. He gripped his lance tighter as they neared the orphanage. Orphan faded out of view, back inside Zain, at the sight of the orphanage. "This is it. Rio, you can still back out. I won't protect you if she does something to you. I'm not here to risk my life for yours. This...is my one selfish act." Inside the orphanage, Lady Shiv grinned at the return of her experiment, "He always will come back to me." she mumbled to herself.
Dante moved away from her, pacing the deck, "Perhaps you do. But are you going to continue to be his leaning post when trouble for yourself come along?" The cabin boy stood and moved toward his captian, "Cap'n Leighton, mayhap the lady don't like bein' manhandled like ya usually do. I'mma guessin' she be somebody important to somebody else, Cap'n." Dante frowned at the boy, "Aye she is, but what would you be doing lurking around the ship at port, master Conny. Have you not a coin to spend on what your heart may desire?" His tone was warm with the boy but still gruff as he narrowed those dark ocean eyes on him.

Xone knelt by Daisuke, "I have no right to call anyone my friend, judged by the Goddess Apollimi, but Summoner Daisuke was...even if he was afraid of me at first, he was the only one I met that was nice to me in the begginning." When Ruru's hand touched Xenree; Xenree's eyes flew open and silver met silver. "Welcome back Mama." Xenree shivered, "It's so cold here Ruru, I thought...I thought Xemnas had locked you in the dark." Ruru shook her little head, "A nice ghost lady helped me escape and when Xemnas left so did his hold on you and me." Renee stood a few feet away without emotion on her face.
