Daieko rubbed his face tiredly and straightened, "Alright, listen Zain. I just need to talk to you about the tests. Would you call off your guard dog?" Zain growled, "I'd watch what you say about my sister. She'll take your head off and if she doesn't I wil." Zain gripped Daieko's shirt collar tightly and they stepped out of Yuki's room, "Yuki...this is Daieko Deathchild. The guy who's trying to cure me. Still like him?"

Vincent folded his wings back and pulled on his coat. His hand already looked better. "Yeah okay." he kept a close eye on her as he moved through the people. A little girl sniffed and looked up at him, cringing. Vincent knelt beside her, her finger was bent at an awkward angle. Snapping his fingers, he drew her attention to the sparks of magic that flicked off his fingers and gently popped her finger back into place. She squeaked and he lit a ball of light in his palm, "It's alright now. Can you find your parents by yourself?" Straightening, Vincent looked around for any others and felt something cling to his leg. Glancing down, he saw the same little girl, "What's the matter? Alright, c'mon, lets find your parents." Vincent picked her up and set her on his shoulders and walking around with her, "Hey, Olive, you think I could keep this one?" he joked. The little girl laughed and pulled at his hair. "You think little girls her age don't understand what Ink does?"
A little pissed off. Our choir concert went okay but somewhere near the end something ticked me off and now I'm going to kill someone.

ooc: bye, g2g
Daieko ducked and set his hand on the ground. It shuddered until standing was impossible. "You don't know what you're dealing with Yuki." He refrained from summoning Shemhazai. Zain felt the house shudder and unsteadily hobbled up the stairs, "Yuki? Wh-what's with the shaking..." he trailed off as he saw Daieko, "Dammit, I thought I closed the door on you!" He laughed.
Daieko lifted his hands in surrender, "Pardon me m'lady. I was mearly looking for a way in. Your unruly brother wouldn't let me in the front door." Zain sighed and flopped down on the couch, "What a freak. That guy doesn't leave me alone ever does he? He needs to take a chill pill. With that potion, I couldn't care less if I turn into a shadow. As long as it's not so quick."
He hauled himself up and grumbled to himself as he flung the door wide. Daieko grinned and Zain slammed the door in his face, "Stupid stalker." Daieko laughed and scaled the side of the house. He jumped through an open window, landing him in Yuki's room, "Hmm, this can't end well."
Daieko would need a bit more, he calmly drove to Yuki's house and knocked on the door. Shemhazai had always commented on his mannersims but now she was silent as the dead. Zain rolled his eyes and looked toward the door, "You didn't see him. He's freaky." he muttered.
Zain snorted, "As if I'm going to cooperate with that psycho. Do you know who he is? Daieko Deathchild! He's some crazy scientist's son. He took my blood, poked at me, broke off one of my spines and wanted to sear my wound shut." Daieko commenced his research and was still just as stumped as he was with his own test samples.
Zain opened one eye and lifted his shirt, showing her his tightly bound white bandage. "Not so good, but she's dead and I found another who's been infected like I have. He gave me some drink that's supposed to slow the transformation so he can find a cure." Daieko examined himself in the mirror, after it had cracked from the first time he'd looked, he'd gotten used to the fractured image. His image still frightened himself. Shemhazai didn't care for his image either.
Daieko kicked Zain and Rio out of his house after a few hours of poking and proding Zain. "You'll be fine! Just get out!" Zain gratefully headed home. He was still gripping his lance tightly and Orphan rustled uncomfortably around, echoing in his head, Ssssomeone should sssserioussssly hit that boy. Zain nodded and opened the front door. He still could smell Yuki and heard her talking on the phone to Sakuya. His eyes felt heavy and he dragged his tired body into the living room and flopped onto the couch, closing his eyes.
Daieko prepared a wrot-iron poker and let it heat in the fire. Zain's eyes widened and he hissed, "You're not touching me with that thing!" Daieko sighed and dropped it, "It was worth a try. I guess I can't sear every wound shut, well it was certainly worth a shot." He wrapped up Zain's wounds and slapped his cheek playfully, "Don't you go looking for Shiv now. You know she'll come back, in some shape or form."
Zain sent Cara home after a few feet and Daieko helped him into his house. He scribbled a letter and attatched it to a pigeon's leg. Sending out on it's way he caught Zain's questioning look, "What? You want your sister to worry? I was only telling her where you are." Zain nodded and let him explain a bunch of notes and potions to him, "Get it? All this will help you control your cravings for human blood and it slows the progression into being a shadow. You'll be saved. I will find the cure. I don't want to live like this either. Stick with me and you'll get better. Now, let's bind that wound." The pigeon landed on the window sill and pecked the window of Yuki's house.
