Penny weakly lifted her hand to the sky, "I didn't mean to...I just...I didn't want to be alone anymore. I didn't feel good...no one was around. I just wanted to see the stars and I...." The last of her strength drained and she fell limp in his arms. The world had stopped tilting to one side and she took comfort in Risit's strength, pressing her face into his shoulder. She didn't realize her hands were still bleeding as she curled her fingers into his cloak, "Please....don't leave me...alone...." Willow nodded, "All we have to do is learn about them? And if they attack us? We're just supposed to...what, let them? Hmph, if I'm attacked, I'm fighting back." Her ice blue eyes flashed and she turned to the others, "I don't play well with others." Willow could feel the cold slipping into her skin and she felt like she would never be warm again. Zero sat in his room, his mind flipping from work, studies, training, and his sisters. He tried to keep his eyes open but to be able to stand still for once after strenuous training, he felt his exhaustion catch up with him. His bed was unused and perfectly neat but he was more comfortable in his chair. "Maybe for just a minute..." he mumbled and closed his eyes. Sleep came swiftly to him, but his dreams were always the same. Since reading about history brought up the old witch trials, his dreams took a turn for the worse.
Zane flinched away from her, "D-don't..." Zee put him in a headlock, despite his thrashing and when Zane twisted his head to look at his attacker, Zee could see how dialated his eyes were, "What did you give him? He looks like he's high. Zane are you hallucinating?" The doctors look offended, "Of course we didn't give him anything like that. Are you insane? He's crazy and should be put down before he causes harm to anyone." Zane laughed, "Put down? You make it sound like you mean to kill me, you filthy rats! Get off me!"
Zain sat beside her, immobile. He pulled on his spines and flinched, thinking, Could it still be spreading? Daieko promised it would stop. "Forgive me...doesss anyone know who Eden isss? She won't get out of my head. I think she wantsss to ssspeak to someone." "Hmm? Keep your musings to yourself Orphan, we don't have time for your idle ponderings. Yuki has a problem here."
Panting, Zane regained his breath and snarled at Zee and the doctors, "You...I want you to stay away from me. You keep your dirty hands away from me, and your needles." Zee took a cautious step toward him, "Hey Zane, lets take it easy now. Why don't you go back to bed, and I promise they won't touch you."
Penny felt her illness come back with a burning passion. Her body rejected the apple potion. Weakly throwing that up over the side of her bed, she wiped her mouth and panted as she slid out of bed. Unsteadily walking down the hall, she felt like the world was tipping to one side. Her legs carried her out of the castle. Penny had no idea where she was going, but she knew it would be someplace that would stop moving. Tripping over her nightgown she fell onto the gravel roads and cut up her palms. Without anything else in her stomach, she dry heaved on the side of the road. Her body ached and felt unusually hot. "R-Risit..." her voice came out barely a whisper, her mind was practically screaming for him to find her.
Gabe laughed and took her hand in his, though he felt a slight burning pain in his wounded hand, he smiled, "Yeah, I guess you're right. I'm happy with my father and mom." He could feel something slither in the back of his mind, but when pursued, it slipped away. Closing his eyes he tried to let it come to him. Dark images flashed behind his eyelids. Chains, blood, screaming, destruction. Wings flapped in his ears and he felt someone pull on his shoulder, though he was still holding onto April's hand. Recoiling from the ghastly images his eyes flew open, dropped April's hand and rubbed his head.
Conny cautiously stepped aboard, "Uh, it's all right missus, ya don't have'ta give me nuttin. I was just followin' orders. Cap'n Leighton's been feeling grateful you even talked to him when he was drunk. He wanted to apologize if he done anything bad to ya."
Zee hadn't heard a word. He slipped out the door when Mya had gone to get the cold water and bolted down to Zane's room. The door wasn't locked, Zee found this wierd since Zane always locked his door if he was fine. Throwing the door open Zee stopped in his tracks at what he saw. Zane struggled against the doctors that held him down to the bed. He was a sickly pale and sweating. Gray eyes wildly looking from doctor to doctor and then to Zee, "Get me out of here! They're nuts!" "Hold still Reaper, you're ill." "NO you get your hands off of me!" Zane was clearly delirious as he jumped from the bed and backed toward the window. "I'm fi-" a round of coughing hit him and Zee noticed the blood on his shirt already as more dripped from his mouth onto the floor, "Z-Zane?" "You get away from me! I'm warning you! Back o-" he started to cough again.

Vincent sighed and followed her, keeping his dark blue eyes on the passerbyers. Olive would continue to keep her emotions locked behind steel doors. He wondered how much it took for her to break. Dismissing those thoughts with a hard shake of his head he adjusted his coat and let his feet do the walking as he drifted in and out of a normal person's consciousness. Since his connection with Heaven had been severed he felt more inclined to cling to someone.
Zee looked doubtful, "I've never seen anything like that poison. Haru must have had Ryku's help in creating something new. A poison you can't feel enter your system? It's unbelievable." He closed his eyes and touched his head to the wall, feeling dizzy still from Haru's beating, "How's Sasha?"
