Zain carried his lance out the door with a shimmering Eden following on his heels. He stared at the school, the lights turned off, it did look a little scary but he didn't see any shadow. Daieko couldn't be lying about this, his life was at stake too. Movement to his left had him dashing off into the darkness after it.
Conny nodded, grateful and walked with her back to the Sea Dragon. Dante scowled when he saw Conny with Kate again. "Ah, Dante we should be leaving soon. It's morning after all and the crew is.." Alistar never got to finish his sentence as Dante stood, "Miss Kate, I see our young Mr. Brady found you and gave you our gift. It's the least I could do, seeing as I woke up with everything in tact." he was joking of course but as to what only Conny was confused about. Alistar quickly added in, "Captain Leighton is very grateful you were patient with him when he was drunk last night."
ooc: where'd ya'll go? bic: Lightning stared at the Tower. Since it wasn't that far from Oerba she knew it wouldn't take that long to get there, it was just the journey in the Tower that she dreaded. Though they'd been protected from the fal'Cie on their last journey through there, those statues wouldn't work as well as they had before. She pulled out the knife her sister had given her and flicked it open and closed, I can't believe 400 years have passed since I last saw Serah. She has to be alive, but how... She refused to give up on her sister but things were taking too long for her taste and she felt like time really had stopped for them. If she didn't loose her edge and grow old, she was sure her brand would start to change again. Their breif time as Cieth she felt a horrible sadness in her and she didn't want to go back to that ever. Light tucked her knife away and looked to Snow, "You have a battle plan don't you? Going in there guns blazing isn't really a plan, Snow."

Zee nodded and motioned to the falcon, "If I were you, I'd just bring him to Zane. It's probably where he was headed." Zane set the vial aside and rubbed his temples, "I figured Uncle Haru would do something sneaky. He always did say that a hidden enemy was your worst." He didn't change and smirked at Mya, "You waiting for me to spontaneously combust?"

Gabe sighed, science and fragile objects all in the same room. For a guy his signature was rather neat and fancy. Sorcha and Gabriel had made sure their son could sign like a gentlemen of back in the day. He flipped between the names of Delliger and Coran for his independence but signed as a Coran. His hand gave a burning pulse and his skin itched. "My father doesn't believe in science much. But mom says it's without feeling, much like when you fight with a sword. If your an angel, like everyone around here seems to insist, then why do angels need science if you could just create it out of thin air? Like how Gabriel made that sword." his brown eyes focused on her with an intensity he gave his parents when he asked a serious question.

Zain closed his eyes and carefully responded to Yuki, "I have to go out for a bit, Yuki, I'll be back to play some more later. It won't take long, just a few minutes." Daieko was getting impatient and he had other things to do. Sliding a small dart into a blowgun, he shot Zain in the shoulder and waited for his violent response. Zain glared at him from the window and felt a twinge in his arm, "What did you hit me with Deathchild." Daieko shrugged as if it were nothing, "Your orders will appear on your arm in black ink, so don't be alarmed. I've created this and it's quite helpful when I can't stick around to explain everything." he faded into the darkness and Zain sighed, staring at his arm with the new black inked tattoo of a few details on one shadow he had to hunt. "Like I said Yuki, I'll be back in a few minutes. Please, don't worry about me."
Zee scowled at the bird and cradled his hand against his chest. The falcon made a series of clicks and what could've passed as a purring noise and eyed Zee knowingly. Zee glared at the bird before unfolding the note that had been attatched to his leg, "What the...Haru..." He shoved the note in his pocket and sat on the bed, forgetting his bleeding finger, "Breaking Zane's falcon's wing is Haru's way of saying he can hurt anyone that Zane loves whenever if Zane doesn't go to him and let him fight him again. Zane doesn't get a break...I can't let him go. If Haru kills him, wouldn't that mean the Templars would take him into their ranks?" He looked doubtful and worried. Zane stared at the vial and grimaced, "So this will make me better...poisoned again...I'm going to start wearing something over my neck from now on." He gave Mya a weary smile and uncorked the vial, "Bottoms up." and swallowed the liquid. He willed himself not to gag on it and spit it back out.
Gabe wandered over to April and guestured for her to sit, "Ladies first."
He stopped playing as he saw Daieko outside his window, "What do you want?" "Your orders, Zain. A shadow is lurking around the school, I need it for my experiment. You want t be human again, go and kill it and give me a vial of it's black blood."
Zane swriled the contents of the vial and frowned, "Help me? What's wrong with me?" Zee lifted the falcon and took the note from his leg and touched his wing, "Hey little fella, you okay?" The falcon shrieked and bit his finger, dropping to the floor with difficulty, "Ouch! Dammit, he bit me! I think his wing is broken."
The rest of Scott's words blurred together until the only thing that stood out was his sentence about forcing it on her. Snarling, she resisted the urge to hold her pistol to his head, "You force anything on me and you'll find a bullet in your big empty head!" Her own violence almost shocked her back into silence. Tucking her gun away she sighed and glanced around, "You don't know where you're going do you? Here, take a left up here, this should put you on a road to the hospital." She remembered a bit of Minnesota's layout and figured the quickest way to avoid Scott's frustration with her was to find the hospital before she had to start holding her gun to his head. Turning around in her seat she touched one of the wounded man's neck, checking his pulse. She touched her fingers to Scott's pulse to match them, "It's a bit slow, you should hurry."
Kisa quieted her growling and gripped the pocket watch hard, "I'm okay...I'm okay..." She flicked the watch open and glanced at the little picture of her parents before shutting it and tucking it back inside her pocket. Her heart was racing, "You never let me fight for you Zelos! What's the big idea?! I could've taken that idiot. He deserves a few shocks down his spine." Her anger was mounting again and she felt electricity race through her veins.
