Dante observed as his ship made it's way out to open sea. He felt the need to look at the old maps he'd made, looking for spanish treasure, but those maps led to nothing. He sighed and drifted into his thoughts.
Zain snarled and launched himself at the other shadows, forsaking his lance for his claws, he ripped at them savagely. Throwing him off them, they swarmed on him, piling on top of Zain until nothing was left but a moving mass of shadows. Eden slammed her staff into the ground and light errupted from it. Desintegrating the shadows on Zain. He stood and spoke through his fangs with his normal voice, "That's enough Eden!" Her light died away and she turned to look at Yuki. Zain's red eyes followed hers to Yuki. His bloodlust locked away by Daieko's potion, he felt depression engulf him at her drawn scythe. She wasn't defending herself from the shadows, but from him. "Yuki..."
Luce's silver hair fell over her face as she slept. Working her way through a nightmare, she woke when they arrived at the hospital. She felt refreashed and in a much better mood. Glancing over at Scott, she could recall he'd said something as she slept, but what it was she didn't remember. "Let's go Scott, lotsa people to save, right?" She'd have to tone down her supernatural abilities for the humans. One of the wounded was half awake; picking him out of the others, Luce helped him stand, "Try not to draw too much attention to yourself. Keep it on them. We wouldn't want everyone to know what we are." A small smile flashed across her lips as she helped the man out of the jeep.
Zero looked toward Risit and Edmund and back toward the road, torn between his brotherly instincts and his princely duties. "I'll take him, of course, but I will be going to that village. Someone there shot my brother and they will not live to see tomorrow's sunrise." He reached down and helped Edmund up. Balancing most of Edmund's wieght on himself, leaving Edmund to limp along. He was careful with his wound, and let that side of him alone as he half carried, and half walked him to his rooms in the castle.
Gabe winced as Gabriel's fingers pressed against a part that was bleeding, his face contorted with pain and he dropped his head to the table. Gabriel opened his mouth to argue with Eliza, but she was right, he pulled out a small green bottle from his pocket and rubbed it on Gabe's wound, "Forgive me Eliza, you are right as always. But I fear you would not know how to deal with a Nephilim wound. It will only take a minute and I'll be gone. Gabranth, please do continue your brilliance when I leave." he smiled at his son and continued to wrap his hand in a thin strip of linen. Gabe heard his father's footsteps move away from him and the door shut and his hand had stopped burning, "That could've gone worse. I expected him to freak out." he laughed lightheartedly.
Roxas frowned, his memory was hazy at that point, "Actually, I don't remember it too well. It's funny, I feel like I know this place, and yet I can't seem to put my finger on it." He touched his hand to one of the doors. Renee stared after Raoxthu and hugged herself, "Be careful Raoxthu." she mumbled. Xone stood, Ash hanging on his shoulder trying to stand with him, "Renee, my sister, Xenree's powers are limited to you, please would you come with me." He held up his hand and a large door appeared in the middle of the area. "Come with me to show Enoch you are ready." Renee stared at him and at the door. It radiated darkness and yet stood like a door to the pathways between the worlds.
Though Zain had killed the one he was supposed to, as soon as he gathered the blood needed for Daieko, more shadows filled the courtyard, "Damn." Eden noticed Yuki before she noticed them, curling her shimmering fingers around Zain's shoulder, she released the block Orphan had kept inside Zain and let him take his shadow form. Zain breathed easier as his body cracked in places and the changes he'd experienced became visual, "Thanks Eden." The red had widened in his eyes, almost eliminating all the purple. It could be safely said that he didn't look like himself anymore.
I'm going to sleep now. See ya'll later, I guess.
I've had those too, they're kinda funny but that's why I close my door at night so I don't sleep wallk into the kitchen and actually do the things...
Gabriel gave her a grateful smile and moved to stand over Gabe, "Let me see your hand, Gabranth." Gabe jerked and tucked his wounded hand under the table, "It's fine. You don't have to make a big deal out of this." Gabriel sighed and forcefully pulled his hand into his own, "I said let me see it." Unwrapping the wound he made a soft noise and let the disappointment fill his blue eyes, "Gabranth, you were in Yuri's toys? I told you to stay away from weapons until you had that temper of yours under control." Gabe growled, "It is under control." he didn't move to defend himself and he could see Gabriel was beginning to make up his mind and remove him from class.
yes .
Zee fell back on the bed and listened to the falcon chirrup lightly. His eyes closed and the lack of sleep caught up with him. Zane blinked slowly and lazily gazed at her, "You sure you aren't waiting for me to burst into flame? I admit, it'd be pretty cool to see, but," he caught her hand and lightly kissed her fingers, "I think I'd rather do something else." He wasn't even sure if he could manage what he was thinking.
Hours of tracking something he barely could see in the dark, Eden alerted him to something behind him and the shadow tackled him to the ground. Wrestling with it, he examined it. Sharp serrated teeth clashed together, vainly trying to bite him. "Disgusting!" his single word echoed through the empty courtyard and Eden brought down her staff through the shadow, stopping barely before she impaled Zain. He relaxed and threw it off him.
Luce let a sort of animalistic sense drive her actions. Her body was tired and her mind was exhausted of trying to play the one always the wiser of everyone else. His voice vibrated against her fingers as she pulled away and lightly shifted one of the wounded into a more comfortable position. "I didn't realize you were so jumpy. I'm sorry but a healthy male's pulse would be better to monitor their pulses with than mine." Settling back into her seat, Luce closed her eyes, "You wanted to know why I don't know what fun is? It's because I never had the chance to have any fun growing up. Being alone, fighting for your next meal and a place to sleep. Really doesn't leave much room to find something fun to do. I wasn't raised by my father like the others or in an orphanage. I raised myself and fun just wasn't on the agenda." She could clearly remember when her father had killed himself and the orphanage had turned her away at the door. Luce fell asleep, her memories becoming her dreams and her fingers twitched every now and then as she slept.
Dante shouted orders and the crew hurried to obey. "Mr. Marlowe, any news on my dreaded ex wife?" Alistar sighed, "You may want to avoid docking back here for a few months. Miss Claire was determined to see you but I deterred her as long as I could while you were talking to Miss Kate."
Gabriel's blue eyes turned back to Eliza, "Ah, it's a dark blue velvet book. Very old, hard to mistake, I'm sure. It doesn't really have a title printed on it but it's called the Book of Enoch. I can't loose this book, Sorcha will kill me if it's lost." He turned his wedding ring around on his finger. Gabe stiffened, "Maybe you just misplaced it. You are a bit of a space case." Gabriel laughed and just as suddenly his face was grave, "Maybe, but if any of you do see it, don't open it and please don't read it. It will literally scream at you, probably just a bunch of nonsense, but it's a spelled book and well, I advise you to stear clear of the thing."
Dante smiled, "Ah, good then. Well then, Mr. Brady, shall we be setting sail?" Conny smiled at Kate and scurried aboard the ship, "Good bye missus Kate. We hope to see you again!" Dante kept his smile in place and mumbled to Alistar, "What does he mean 'we'? I swear Conny has become much more outspoken than before."
Gabe shook his hand and unbound his hand. Several holes in his hand from the mace had already healed shut, which was wierd enough, but the others now bled consistently. "Ah, I think I should." Almost as if on a cue, Gabriel poked his head into Eliza's classroom, "Hey, Eliza, have you seen a certain book of mine. I think I left it out somewhere, it's just gone and now I'm starting to...Gabe? Are you alright, Gabranth?" Gabe closed his hand on the holes and blood and grinned at his father, "I'm great. Just spiffy, sir." Gabriel frowned at him.
ooc: haha, sorry, Gabe's a skeptic. bic: Gabe sighed, for once in the day, he'd paid attention to what she said. "Alright ma'am, if you say so. Science is what my mother says she's doing, but Gabriel says otherwise. Buddy, he's pretty insane, I'm sure." His attention diverted itself to his hand again, it was still burning, "Ow, why does this hurt so much. It didn't a moment before."
