The Keyblade struck the monster in it's head, knocking it back and came around for a second hit to the back, flying back to Mage's hand. The creature howled in their minds in pain, ceasing it's motion to crush Akii. Akii's hand flung out, a larger, dark hand springing from a dark wall of energy and pushed the monster back, forcing it to let go of her. The worm-like arm ripped off easily and it's rough skin-like material covering it's body absorbed Mage's Thundaga. Though cracks spidered out from where the Keyblade had struck. Good, it's weakness seems to be head on attacks. Strike Mage. Do not worry about how well you may be able to swing me, let me handle the hitting. it's voice sounded like it was smiling and rays of light spiked out from the tip, making it look like a mace of light.
Ash was keeping silent so Vin jumped in. "Something very important to Ash. A...stone of sorts hidden in Avalon." "Alright, no need to tell him everything!" he snapped. "It's a special gem for necromancy is all. They come from Feldragons, so I'm looking for one of them. But...no one's seen a Feldragon for centuries. Finding a Dragon Gem is going to be harder than I thought, but when I heard about Avalon....I thought a Feldragon might still linger here." he stopped, realizing he'd said everything when he'd just told Vin not to tell. "Dammit. Listen, it's none of your concern really. I just need it, okay?!" His dark eyes glittered behind his hair as he silently dared Romeo to ask what for.
The Keyblade remained silent for a minute, contemplating and finally brought forth an image of a Dusk into Mage's mind and Axel in his Organization coat, "Combinding them together, do they not make this creature? It must sense the vibration from Akii's voice. To move forward, we'll have to kill it. Can you do this Mage? The Keyblade didn't doubt her, but the question was in it's nature to ask. Akii couldn't take standing so close to the misshapen thing. She snapped and screamed, covering her head in fright, "Get it away from me! Don't look at me anymore!" Now Mage, throw me hard at the monstrosity! The creature jerked toward Akii, the arm wiggling like a worm darting out faster than lightning and wrapped around the little girl, it extended until it wrapped around her and started to pull her closer, it's other, heavier, arm lifting, moving it's whole body to lift it. A shriek in their minds sounded from the mouthless creature. Even the Keyblade heard it and shuddered.
Vin laughed and finally the impassive look on his face broke into a brotherly love for Ash, "See what you did? You tuckered out Romeo already. Some training exersise." Throwing his arms behind his head, he leaned back on a tree and smirked over at his small friend. Ash pouted like a child, "You always have to put the blame on me. As if I'd really pick this thick of a thing apart. Look at it, Vin! It's bulky. Too much life to pick at and by the time I was halfway through it, he'd already be dead from shock. No self control, this one." Ash rubbed with the thread instead of against it and sent a warm wave to Romeo's heart. "Haven't got the heart really to kill him though. He's fun to play with. Anyways, Vincent, you are going to help me find what I'm looking for aren't you?" He watched Vin nod. "I promised didn't I?" "Yeah...you did."
Ash frowned at Vin's seriousness and let all the undead drop where they were. "Fine, spoil sport. You're no fun, Vin. C'mon, I was just having a little fun. I can't have fun anymore?" Vin laughed from his spot on the ground, the creature disolving into dust and sparks of black magic. "If that's fun to you. I'd hate to see what you're like when you're serious. Ash, you could've hurt Romeo or someone else." Standing and replacing his sword on his back, Vin brushed himself off, "Don't make that face." Ash's face was frowning like a child whose favorite toy had been taken away for no reason.
A wall of undead flesh rose up as Romeo tried to attack him, "Disappointing. Mazipa kill Vincent!" The creature squeezed harder and he watched Vin's face contort from impassive to in severe pain. Darkness threatened to cover his vision and he swung his sword up to his hand and flung it at the creature's eye. It howled in sheer pain and dropped Vin. Thudding onto his back, his breath was knocked out of him. The creature backed away and Vin yanked the sword out of his eye. Swinging it around by the chain, he let the momentum lob off the creature's arm and slice a line across it's neck. "Enough...Ash!" he wheezed.
Reaching up toward the stars, Zain light-heartedly chuckled, "If you want, I can still show up around dark. It'll be like nothing changed, except I can't sleep there. I'm sorry Yuki, but this....craving....has gotten worse again. I'll find a way to sate it so I can move back home."

Ash gave a final yank on the thread and grabbed at Romeo's life thread. His slender fingers wrapping around it, sending icy chills to Romeo's heart. "You sure you want to stop now?" Glancing upward, he smirked and wrapped Romeo's thread around his fist. A large, unshappen creature lumbered out of a larger dark circle, chains wrapping around Vin and lifting him from the ground. "Huh, what the..?! Ash! What've you done!" Vin knew exactly what he'd done. Bypassing the laws of nature and taking something that hadn't been alive for years and melding it together with Deathchanter magic. "Three Cries for one!" The creature grabbed Vin and squeezed. Pure black eyes shone dully out of a sickly white skin of a rat-like face.
Akii but her lip as they quietly moved around it. Catching sight of it, she squeaked in fright. The creature was a combination of a larger form of a Dusk combined with an Organization coat melded together. The creature was oddly shaped, one arm larger than the other, dragging on the ground and the other wiggling like a trapped worm. It's legs thick as tree trunks and a small oddly shaped head atop of a square shaped body, all covered in a black thick skin-like material. The zipper of the coat roamed all around it's body ending in the middle of it's odd head. No mouth, no eyes, no ears, it still jerked slightly as Akii squeaked. Shush, no sudden movements. Take this time to recognize it's form. It cannot see, hear or speak. Where have you seen something similar to this before...I cannot tell from your memories.
It's okay. As long as I'm home before dark.
Vin shrugged and slapped the flat of his sword against Romeo's shoulder again. With such a heavy blade, it moved Romeo a few inches. Dropping his foot on the other blade he'd pulled from Romeo's grip he tisked, "Don't even think about it. Listen, kid, you can still refuse to help Ash. Rule number one: Never help a Deathchanter!" Turning his blade slightly, he sliced at Romeo's shoulder. Ash grabbed ahold of the thread desired. Pulling on it, it weighed a lot more than he would've figured. "C'mon! Leggo of it!" Ash's grammar changing as he struggled to pull the thread through the dark circle.

Well, because you haven't been driving for the amout of time that they want, they're nervous, but I'm gonna do it anyway so they kinda figure...
Jumping back to avoid his sword, Vin wrapped the long chain around the blade and pulled it from Romeo's grasp. "Hmph, oldest trick in the book. You'll have to try harder than that to hit me." Vin's face remained impassive as he fought. No frustration, no anger, or even amusment with this fight. Vin felt the same way he always did while fighting...normal.
They're not really okay necessarily with it, but it's alright as long as I'm home before dark and okay. It's not really a problem.

He smiled slightly, "Don't worry, I'll still come around. Just...sort of live at the Orphanage. It's abandoned and I don't think Lady Shiv can come back from the dead, so I'll be fine."

Vin blocked Romeo's attacks and hit his shoulder with the flat of his blade. "I told you not to play this game with me. The military doesn't rank me first sergent for slacking off." His eyes slid to Ash, no flaws in his dark circle anymore...so he had gotten better since the last time he'd seen him. "Ash, don't do this. Don't sacrifice a boy's life for your own benefit." Ash ignored him. The thought of the thread almost in grasp. Reaching his hand into the dark circle, he imagined the thread and so, he would grab it.
