They all nodded and turned on their heels. Each opening a dark corridor. ~Dark corridors opened all around the group. Xion and Roxas, finally snapping back into reality gaped, "What's going on?!" Saix stepped out in front of the door, "No one's going through that door. You must all die." Saix sounded like a robot almost. His loyalty to Xemnas was what kept him human. Nightmare felt unnerved by Ashir, I thought he was your friend. Ashir's...okay with his mother being dead. What kind of child is alright with their mother dying several times. But I've never heard of a body hopper before.
Xone managed to speak, but to Enoch, "Body hopper?" "Yes, a person that once their body dies or is killed, transfers it's spirit to another living being. Hestia, was her name? She's a very good body hopper. Now, as for finding them?" The Organization members reported to Xehanort. "Yes sir?" Saix asked for everyone.
Xone, surprised, was speechless. Enoch laughed, "I've felt her presence in the young Nobody Xion. Your mother is a very good body hopper."
Xone glanced down at the ground, Ashir's mother, Hestia was dead, but he had no idea where she'd gone from the dark corridors. "Ashir...your mother...she... She's dead, I'm sorry." Nightmare felt better now that darkness had left her.
Nightmare gave Mage a warm feeling as if she were being hugged. Do not fear. I am always with you, disolved or not. Xone stood, "You shouldn't play with a young girl's feelings like that Enoch." "She should have more faith in my actions. Beliving I'd destroy a Keyblade like that, out of cold blood? Please! Keyblades are destroyed because they themselves have done something horrible, not just their wielders."
He adjusted his clothes, night was still falling. "Good then. I must be off for the night then. Before my hunger gets the better of me and I do something foolish. Goodnight Yuki, Toji, I'll see you both in the morning." He left the house and hurried himself out into the woods in search of fresh meat.
A shimmering flash of light sparkled connected to the Keychain and Nightmare returned. Her form the same but the dark aura she held was gone, replaced with serene airs. Mage, why are you crying? Have I done something wrong?
"You're not dead. Go back to sleep, Max." Vin kept his eyes lowered to the ground after that. It was improper to stare at a woman as she slept.
Enoch knelt beside Mage, taking the keychain that was on Nightmare and let Mage's tears drop on it. "Your tears are the rebirth of your Keyblade. Tears of the innocent wash away the darkness that has infected Nightmare's spirit. Now Mage....call out to your Keyblade." Xone picked himself up, the pain receeding, "Mage, Nightmare is still around. She's just...been cleaned a whole lot better than water could wash off the surface."
Enoch held Nightmare up in the sky and she broke apart. The pieces crumbling down to the ground. Liquid darkness poured to the ground like a waterfall and pooled on the ground. "There now, Mage, you shouldnt worry about Nightmare, she'll be just fine and come on back when she's good and ready."
Vin came across Max again. He lifted her up in his arms and carried her back to his little campsite he'd made. "I wonder why she's always running from werewolves. Dangerous creatures they are." Ignoring the fact that a real girl was in his arms, he set her down and watched over her as she, what he suspected was sleep.
"Then it's best you're working with me. I am the result of Lady Shiv's continued experiment on the orphans. Me and my...old friend Orphan, were her experiments. I guess your father's experiment was a success. Without that cure, I'll be a shadow in a matter of days."
Xone crumpled to the ground as another wave of pain hit him and his Keyblade disappeared. Enoch knocked Mage back from him and the long crack spidered out across the blade, "Let it out Nightmare. Let go of the Darkness, it's not there to comfort you." Nightmare screamed in pain as more of the watery darkness dripped out of her. Her scream echoing in everyone's minds. Pieces of her started to fall away.
Zain growled, "Sh-shiv? Keniji huh? Did...did your father ever create the experiment of turning children into shadows? Such as...orphan children?"
"Nightmare has contracted a disease from the darkness. She'll need to be disolved." Nightmare shrieked, NO! Xone jerked upright, his black Keyblade in hand, held reverse style for the moment and threw it, knocking Nightmare from Mage's grip. Enoch caught Nightmare and tapped the blade, "Still so stubborn." A long crack appeared along the blade and darkness dripped out of it like water, pooling on the ground.
Zain suppressed a growl, "Your father....and he would be?" he wondered if Toji's father knew Lady Shiv. Though she was a shadow herself, she had hid in the world as a human being, the experiments must have come from someone else's mind, not hers.
Vin heard a scream, he briefly wondered if he should check it out. Before he knew it, his feet were moving on their own, toward the sound of the scream.
Nightmare felt a glitch in her Key Code (like DNA but for a Keyblade) I...I'm alright. There cannot be anything wrong with me. I feel fine. Enoch could guess what Nightmare was saying, "Let me guess, she still says she's fine. Nightmare....that feeling that something's eating away at you from your core...it's not normal, it means the darkness harbors inside you."
Enoch smiled, "And because she's refusing so passionately, tells me that she desperately needs one. Nightmare, come now, no need to be shy in showing your new partner how damaged you truely are." Nightmare didn't respond. She knew deep inside her, something was eating away at her. She could never tell Mage the truth. Xone was struggling to open his eyes, blinding pain seared him, he'd taken the brunt of Ashir and Mage's pain.
Axel Axel watched him leave. He'd head back in a minute. Axel touched a hand to his chest, he could practically feel it; the inability to betray Xehanort. He couldn't fathom what would possibly make him want to betray the Organization again, but now he had no choice. "Was that joke supposed to be funny? He doesn't have a clue as to how little of a second chance I wanted. All I wanted was to see Roxas one more time." His memory held a perfect image of Roxas still, but the other form that was supposed to be next to him was still gone. Without Roxas, he was alone and without the ability to leave the Organization, revised or not, he was trapped. Axel scolded himself for letting his grief, if you could call it that, control how he spoke. Xigbar kept a memory of what people said for a long time, he'd not soon forget how Axel reacted to Roxas' name. Opening a dark corridor of his own, he walked through the darkness to his throne chair. Reappearing in the same dark spiral. Composing himself, Axel relaxed in his chair and let his hooded head settle against the back of the chair, resting his arms along the armrests of his chair. Missing the new recruit as Xigbar called him, wouldn't be smart. World: Twilight Town to ??? Location Clock Tower to ??? Interaction: Xigbar
