I would make a civilian myself, but I am afraid that if I did, it would be troublesome, since I would be able to counter my own detectives ways. Also, in a way, the death note can become tempting to some, like it was with Kira. Perhaps what you should do is have her punish criminals, but without the whole becoming a god thing, like kira tried.

ooc: seems like the best way for your charecter to work. Put yourself in your charecters shoes. You have the power to control life and death right before you, and all you have to do is write a persons name into a book. What would you do with that kind of power?

ooc: he doesn't have any of the special abilities that some do, but he does have the super speed part.
