Vincent drifted along lazily through clouds and empty sky. It's sort of like home. The clouds, free space...minus the whole Heaven isn't really Heaven. So without the random curfew and fire arrows...it's better here. I can deal with cramped spaces. The wind carried him over the City and he stared down at the people wandering in the streets. There lives are so short compared to mine...I wonder how long Olive will live.
I'll post, but it might just be random thought and memory.
"Sorry...." Pushing his hunger down, he bit into an apple, if he pretended, he could imaging he was feeding on someone...but those thoughts were disturbing. "Haven't seen much of Daieko lately. Probably off enjoying being human, the traitor." A knock came at the door the second he'd spoken.
He nodded, "That's good. I was worried that after Callen's visit your nightmares would get worse. Being bit by a creature like him couldn't have been plesant." His eyes closed and he remembered Yuki's scream and the scent of her blood hanging in the air. He could still smell it if he tried.
Zain watched her eat. He couldn't stomach food anymore. "Sleep well?"
Zain set down pancakes and bacon. His mind focused on other things. His heart gave a promiment beat and his nose only picked out the sent of Yuki. Not again with this... His tongue touched fang in his mouth and he flopped down into a chair, "Breakfast's ready!" he called and mumbled to himself, "Come at your own expense."
Zain jerked and sighed, "I suppose it would be nice to know where it is...ugh, dispose of it. I promised I'd never drink Yuki's blood. I intend to keep that promise. Tonight will be difficult, but i'll manage." He stood and left to prepare breakfast, leaving the cure and Yuki's blood on the table.
Well about school, P, I would call it a rational fear because I was born and practically raised anti-social. I can't talk to people and doing so, even though I don't want to, takes a lot of energy I don't have. And the fact that I'm sure our school is trying to slowly murder everyone by slowly turning down and eventually off the heat so we all freeze to death. And that everything is so cramped that even the slightest claustraphobia acts up just walking through the hallways. The isolation after school is so I can calm down. About my friends. I have to, they expect me to be happy so they can be happy. We all revolve around eachother's moods. If I stop smiling, they poke at me and just like this is all titled, call me pathetic for not being able to handle all this. They're one in a milliion type of people and we all do the same to each and every one of them but it gets hard to deal with if you feel this way every day. They smile for me and I smile for them. Well the everyone making accusations started way back when I read 'His Dark Matierials' by Philip Pullman. They called me aethiest just because apparently the author is. Back then, I ended up snapping and lashing out at the first person to start it. Recently it's been about a lot of my personal problems that I'm trying to deal with. I don't know how they came to know about them, so I assume a friend I'm not very close with told all her friends about it. I've ignored them to a point where they use this to attack me when I try to point out that they're wrong about a class related subject. They've brought it into the classroom and I can't do a thing about it. My parents...they expect me to do perfectly in school and be involved in everything. It is unreasonable because when I get a B on my report card they freak out where some parents would be happy. I know I'm usually an A student, but a B just means the damn school is doing there job and challenging students. it doesn't mean I'm slacking or being a bad student, hell I drive on into the night for school subjects. I have to meet their expectations, P, or else I'm punished for stuff I can't control. Very funny P. But with this headache, I physically couldn't stand to be in the same room as food. I threw up my breakfast this morning and mom let me stay home.
"Of course I need more. Reversing a shadow process takes more than a few exotic herbs and one vampiric shadow's blood. THe last I need comes from a few shadows with more humanity than they know what to do with. I'll get that tonight." His fingers touched Yuki's blood in his pocket. Slowly pulling that out of his pocket, he sat it on the table beside the cure. "The only question I have for now is...what do I do with this? If I drink human blood and then the cure...I'm sure it would mess it up. But if I can't control myself tonight...everything is ruined."
Everyone frowned and Xigbar grinned, "So crazy it just might work! Let's do it!" Xaldin slapped him on the back of his head, "We'll die." "C'mon, have a little more faith in our small friends. I'm sure they know what they're doing." The Organization groaned at Xigbar and he gave them a 'what?' look.
Zain nodded. he set the cure down and slowly dripped Callen's blood into it. Little sparks came off of the liquid where Callen's blood touched it. After the whole vial was empty, Zain studied the cure carefully. It smelt more like medicine now than some rare piece of scotch that had been fermenting for years. "I'd say success but we won't know until I get the last of the shadow blood I need for this. Then, I swear humanity will be mine."
Okay, I'm gonna stop giving advice about other girls. Unless I'm there, I usually pretty much suck at it.

Zain watched Yuki sleep for a minute. He was glad she wasn't hurt by Callen. Sighing, he helped Toji get things ready. Staring into the cure for a long minute. "I wonder...if adding a foreign element to the cure would make it better than Daieko's. He nearly lost his memory and I don't want to do the same." He pulled Callen's blood from his pocket and stared at the both of them. Wondering if it would change it enough that it would keep his memory but still cure him.

Sam smiled and pulled her hood to cover her face, "Hear what?" Turning on her heel she gestured to the apartment building she lived in, "No, I live, for the moment, there. Come on, you can stay with me." She started off, knowing he'd follow her. Though she was shorter than him, she held her head high, just like her uncle taught her.
Zain woke in the morning after apparently knocking himself out trying to reach Yuki's vial. His head hurt as he gathered up the vials and returned to Toji's.
