"Oh, before I forget, Here is your prize money from the Tournament, Cliff. Do what you want with it."
OOC: Sorry 13th darkness, didn't mean to ignore you. Sure you can come in at any time. BIC: Michael turned to Sophia and said, "Thankfully no harm was done, but next time let us know when you are going to do something like that again."
Michael woke up, the sun blinding him. "What a night...I still can't believe that the spirits would go out of control like that." He thought to himself. He walked outside and decided to go to the bazzar. Michael looked around and really saw nothing that interested him, although he did buy a new sheath for his new sword. He went back to his parent's house once more time to look around. In a small box by the bed, he found a small ring with a dragon engraved in the band. "Mother's ring...Seems strange to take it with me, but it would just turn to dust here. Besides, it's a family heirloom." He wrapped the ring up in a small cloth and put it in his pack. With nothing important left in the house, Michael left, kicking the key under the door.
"I wonder what the dragons were trying to tell us. I could not understand what they were saying. Guess now I will try to go to the hot springs again and try to make sense of all of this." Michael looked over at Cliff again "Is he STILL asleep?! I can't believe it! That commotion would have woken anyone up." OOC: see you later true darkness
The quaking of the earth started to slow, and the tempest around Michael started to die down. "Of course, now I understand. The dragons must be trying to speak to us."
The tornado continued to grow. Michael yelled to the villagers, "Everyone flee the village, I don't know what is going on, but i don't want anyone to die! Hurry!!!" The villagers ran out of the arena in a panic as Cliff's dragoon spirit shined, and the earth began to quake.
OOC: You're doing good true darkness. Since our characters can't fully control the dragoon powers they have, it makes sense that they would go out of control. BIC: The glow from the jade spirit grew brighter as a tornado formed around Michael. "I can't control it!! Why is this happening?!"
"Guess it's nothing then. I need a bath after that entense battle, so i guess I will go to the hot springs to soak for a while."
The jade dragoon spirit shined with a bright light. "What's going on? I can't sense any other dragoons in the area, so why are the spirits shining?"
Michael finally recovered enough strength to finish the trek to the ring, even though it was too late. "Looks like you won. It was a well fought match, we will have to do this again sometime." He looked over at Cliff and laughed "Geez, is he a heavy sleeper or what?" Michael sheathed his sword.
Michael continued on. He was almost to the ring, when suddenly he tripped. He tried to get up, but he was just too exhausted. "Look like she is going to win after all...oh well, at least I got to fight an opponet with some skill."
"Same to you, we're just too evenly matched." He bent over to catch his breath, exhausted from the match. The Match wasn't over yet, though, according to the announcer as he exclaimed, "I can't beleive my eyes, all of the combattants have been thrusted from the ring. The first one to make it back in the ring will be named the winner!." Cliff was apparently still sleeping, so that left it between Michael and Kai. The two as exhausted as they were, struggled to get back to the ring.
"Alright." The two pulled out all the stops to win. Sparks fling, even as the cyclone raged around them. They fought so hard, however, they ended up knocking each other out of the ring, Kai taking the sleeping Cliff with her as she flew from the ring.
The battle raged for a long time, even after the sun rose, the two warriors just refused to give up. Michael just happened to look over at Cliff, and burst out in laughter. Cliff was so bored, he fell asleep in the arena.
"Never. You will have to knock me from the arena first." Just then the winds shifted again, tring to hold the warriors to the ground. "You going to fight or what, Cliff?" MIchael hollered as he continued the battle with Kai. He was clearly enjoying himself, as he was laughing.
"Thanks, very few can keep up with me." He threw his swird in the air and scored a few blows. Catching the blade, he tried to knock the sword from Kai's hand. She dodged the strike and attacked, Michael barely had enough time to parry the attack. The two continued to clash blades, with neither warrior yielding the slightist bit to the other. Cliff just stood on the side, watching and waiting for his chance to strike.
"You're fast..." Michael swiftly blocked the attack and threw a quick kick at Kai. "But not fast enough. You will have to try harder than that if you want to beat me." The winds then changed, lifting the fighters into the air. They charged at each other, blades clashing and throwing sparks from the swift impacts. "You're pretty good with a blade, who was your master?"
Michael watched Kai's movements to see when she was going to attack, hand on the hilt of his father's sword, ready to strike.
"Don't hold back now, I want to have fun with this match." Michael turned and bowed. "What match style is this going to be?" He asked the announcer. "It's going to be randomly changed during the match, until there is only one fighter standing in the ring." the announcer said. "That makes it even more interesting." Michael said as he readied his battle stance.
OOC: Kind of accelerating things here, but moving the tournament to the finals, a three-way battle royale between me, Cliff, and Kai. BIC:"Looks like it's time for the finals." Michael thought to himself as he stepped into the ring.
