OOC: Sorry i'm late, got stuck at work. From the looks of it, I missed a lot. BIC: Michael heard the commotion and came running. "What happened?!" He looked at Kai and noticed she had been stabbed. She had gone unconsious "No!! Who did this to her?! No, forget it. Tell me later. We are almost to Tredor, I will take her to the doctor there. I'm not going to lose her!!!" He picked Kai up and began running towards Tredor.
Michael was stunned, still feeling the effects from the kiss. "Guess another couldn't hurt." He started kissing Kai again. OOC:Good night, everybody!
Michael and Kai released each other, faces still red from embarrasment. "I never felt anything like that before." He said breathing hevily.
Michael embraced Kai, and the two locked lips. Time felt like it stood still as they were locked in their moment of passion. His heart felt like a great weight was lifted off of it. He didn't care about of the events that had transpired bore fore this moment. This moment in time was all he cared about.
Michael listened to the song, eyes transfixed on Kai all the while. He felt his body move like it had a will of its own. Leaning foward, he moved to kiss Kai on the lips.
Michael stared at Kai for a long time, his face red with emotion. "What am I feeling? I never felt this way before."
"This must be destiny, as cruel as it seems, and more than likely there will be more twists and turns. The only thing we can do is try to be ready for what fate may throw at us." Michael said softly, smiling for the first time since this whole disaster happened.
"Why did the dragoon spirit choose me? Ever since I became the Jade dragoon, Death and destruction has surrounded me? Why? Is this my fate?" So many questions came to Michael's mind, but the answers did not. He looked into the fire, wondering what would happen next.
"I know, my heart is a bunch of mixed emotions right now. I'm sure it will pass, in time." He pulled out his mother's ring and started to roll it around in the palm of his hand, lost in thought.
"Just tired, thats all." He said in a depressed tone. "To be honest, though, witnessing the destruction of the only home you have ever known is kind of hard to stomach."
Michael started cooking, making dishes that pandered to everyone's tastes. He did not make anthing for himself however, considering the events that had transpired. He did not have much of an appetite, so he just stuck with drink to satisfy him.
"We have our prize winnings from the tournament. If we run out of food before we get to Tredor, I can always hunt for something to eat."
"The smith still owes me a favor from when I helped him keep from losing his shop when he was low on money, My father and I footed the bill because he was a family friend, so I'm sure he won't mind giving us some Rothium." Michael turned to Kai "Tredor is about two days from here, as long as there are no interuptions." Just then, 2 goblins leaped from the bushes. Michael was in no mood to fight a long, drawn out battle with these weaklings, so he drew his blade and dispached them quickly and effortlessly. "Vae Victas." He said as he sheathed his sword.
OOC: That's ok, this is an RP after all. BIC: "I know a smith in Tredor that works with Rothium, we can get some from him, if he still lives."
Michael stood one of the larger stones among the rubble and carved these words in it. Villgust Village Once proud worshippers of the Jade dragon Now all lie in eternal slumber, lives taken by the Black monster. Rest In Peace He left the village with the others, never stopping to look back.
"What is this metal called, Cliff?"
"We don't know which way it went though, it left no trail for us to follow. I guess we should head to the castle of Tredor for now. There we can use their grand library to research how to defeat the black monster, and if there is anything to stop the Dragon Buster, because we don't know when Jeraxan will show up again."
"There is nothing more we can do here. We must rest, then move on from here. I know not where though."
Michael blushed as Kai put her hand on his shoulder, but still continued to play ast the last of the souls made their way to their resting place. He stoped playing after all of them had left this plane. He wiped his eyes. "Thank you, everyone." He said, still blushing.
OOC: Go right ahead. Thea joined in. It seemed to ease the pain in Michael's heart to know that the others were here to support him.
