OOC: Don't know why I thought I was stuck :stupid:. Just ran into a little writers block. BIC: Gabriel sat on a rock thinking to himself. He looked behind him, and noticed the girl he saw the other day. She stared at him quizically. "What, is there something on my face?" He asked her.
OOC: Crap, just realized that I wrote myself into a corner. Guess I will have to wait.
OOC: Better to be slow than fast. Gives you more time to enjoy life, because you only get one.
OOC: Actually Michael isn't a fallen angel, but that's what his race's name means in the human language. Michael is actually a half-Keldon(Father's side), half-human(Mother's side). The first humans that saw the Keldon noticed that they all had wings (which made the humans mistake the Keldon for fallen angels), but after a great war between the humans and the Keldon (in which the Keldon were nearly wiped out) they beseeched their gods for help. The gods helped the Keldon acheive peace, but in return, the Keldon were stripped of their wings. Michael is the first Keldon child (even though he is a halfling) in centuries to have wings.
OOC: If my character could switch places with yours, he probably would. But if he screws this up, I am going to lock him in the closet. BIC: (Trying to do this from memory, since I don't have my original writing with me, and I don't want to spend too much time on the play, so I am fast fowarding to the part where the fallen angel first sees the girl he falls in love with.) Gabriel (The angel's name, FYI) walked along, when he spied a young woman. He hid behind a rock, to keep her from noticing him. "She's beautiful." He said to himself. He saw her start to turn towards him, so he flew away, leaving behind a feather that had fallen from one of his wings.
OOC: Only time will tell. I'm going to go ahead and start BIC: The curtain rises and Michael walks out on stage. "Why has thou forsaken me, O lord? What have I done to incur thy wrath?" "Stop trembling, kid, you're doing fine."
Severely OOC: He has a really great memory, but he dosen't like being in front of a large crowd (the tournament being an exception) "Hey! Stop telling them my secrets." Be quiet, Michael.
OOC: I am actually paying homage to a short story by the same name that I wrote back in my College Writing class in high school. It is about a fallen angel's quest for redemption, until he meets a human girl and falls in love with her. Near the end, he has to make the choice to either return to heaven, or to be stripped of his power and remain with the love of his life. Won't spoil the ending here, however, you will just have to wait until the play reaches it's end, if Michael dosen't pass out on stage first.
OOC: Finally thought of something to write. BIC: Michael and Kai walked back to town. They almost made it back to the resturant when.... "You two, come with us." They found themselves nearly being dragged to the theater. "We have got to get you into costume, miss." The stage hands led Kai to the dressing room. "What's going on?! Why are we here?" Michael asked. "You two are the replacements for the leads in tonight' play, 'Fallen Angel's Blessing'." Michael now had a worried look on his face. "Oh no. I don't do acting." "Nonsense, you will do fine. Here, read over the script, we start in an hour." The Jade Dragon laughed. "What's so funny?" "Oh, nothing."
OOC: Great.....more waiting.......guess I will go back to my drawing then....
OOC: That sucks. Glad I live on my own. Not much happened yesterday though. So you haven't missed anything.
OOC: Nothing's happening.......again:(. Guess I'll just keep waiting.
OOC: Indeed. I will be back later to see if anything has happened. Got to go before I fall asleep in my chair.
OOC: If this was on a console, now would probably be the time to change discs.
OOC: This could take a while......
OOC: College is only as fun as you make it. Although the mock war between all of my world history teacher's classes was pretty fun.
OOC: Sorry I wasn't on last night. Spent most of the day taking my college exams and was mentally drained after that. BIC: Michael gazed up at the sky, staring at the sunset. He grabbed Kai's hand. "Come on, we better head back before the others start to worry."
"Thanks." Michael gave her a kiss.
"To be honest, I have something to tell you to, Kai. I feel as though you are the only one that really accepts me for who I am. Me being a halfling, neither the humans or the keldon really have accepted me, because I am really neither one or the other. I just wanted to thank you for being there for me."
"Like what? You can tell me."
