"Kind of strange, isn't it?" Michael said as they walked outside. Two kids ran up behind Michael and pulled on his wings. "Ow! Hey, quit it!" They pulled some feathers off of the wings. "Cool! They are real. See I told you." One of the kids said as they ran off. Michael now had an angered look on his face.
"Let me take you back home." Gabriel picked up Ariana and flew back to the sanctuary." The curtain fell, then rose again with all of the cast members on stage as they all took a bow. Then it fell again. "Looks like it was a hit." Michael said
OOC: No, just some guy in a costume. BIC: "Yes, I have. I turned down an offer to return to heaven, to be with you, my love."
Gabriel flew to where Ariana was at and saw her sleeping. A bright light enveloped him. "You have done well, my son. You have redemmed yourself, and may now return." Gabriel smiled when he heard this, but then he thought about Ariana. "I'm sorry, my lord, but I wish to stay with the humans." "I see.....then I will let you remain amongst them." The light faded.
Gabriel flew above the flames and saw what was attacking the villagers. It was a demon of great power. He landed to confront it. "Please save us!" Gabriel looked at the man. "First you scorn me, then you ask for my help? I'll never understand you humans." The demon approached Gabriel. Gabriel drew his blade. "Why would you defend these pathetic humans, you who has been turned from the light?" "My reasons are my own, foul beast." The battle was a fierce one, but in the end, Gabriel was victorius.
OOC: The fire is part of the play. Gabriel stood up. The village was on fire! "The villagers are in danger! I have to help them. Stay here Ariana."
"They will see." Michael looked to the horizon. A strange red light shined in the distance, and then the smell of smoke.
"And I would do the same for you, my love."
"Do you truely mean it?"
"They hate what they don't understand. In time, I'm sure they will accept me."
The start of the act called for Gabriel to play a song on his flute. Michael began to play as the curtain rose. It was a soft, but sweet melody.
Michael grabbed a sword from the props rack and swung it a few times. The costume designer tried to change Michael's armor. He shook her off "Please don't touch my armor."" He sat on the stage, waiting for the third act to begin.
"Right. See you in a couple of minutes."
The curtain fell at the end of the act. "You can't tell me she is not your girlfriend, Michael" "Shut up! Must you always be so rude?!" "Don't deny it. You know it's true." "That's it, I'm not listening to you anymore." "Fine, be that way." "Okay people, take a break. The next act starts in 2 minutes." The director said. Michael just stared at Kai with a smile on his face.
"I would give my life to protect you, Ariana. You are my only reason for living." Gabriel kissed Ariana. "Geez, what a ham." "Not now, dragon."
"Then stay with me. Here, no one can judge us." Gabriel said as he wiped the tears from her eyes.
OOC: Welcome back. Anyways, Kai and Michael have been made the leading roles in a play called 'Fallen Angel's Blessing'. Read back to see what has happened so far.
OOC: Ok, but someone else has to do it. Got my hands full with the play. BIC: The curtain rose for the second act. Gabriel and Ariana began to see more of each other. The more they spoke, the closer they became. Gabriel realized that he was falling in love. One day, Ariana managed to get Gabriel to come into town with her. The townspeople were not as hospitable as Ariana was, however. "Get away from her, you monster!" They said. Some of the villagers taking up arms to defend themselves. "You're wrong!" Ariana shouted. "Gabriel is not a monster, he is one of the kindest beings I have met." The villagers ignored her, as they continued their violent approach towards Gabriel. Gabriel, being unarmed, could not defend himself, so he fled back to his sanctuary in the forest. Ariana ran after him.
"So, do you have a name, or shall I just call you girl?" "Not that it's any of your business, stranger, but my name is Ariana. So now that you know my name, what, pray tell, is yours?" "Gabriel. Sorry if I seemed rude, but you are the first human I have personally seen. You just surprised me, that's all." "That's quite all right. But tell me, I know you are not human, but you don't look demonic either. What exactly are you?" "That's none of your concern, Ariana. I am tired, so I am leaving to get some rest. I hope we meet again." Gabriel flew off, leaving Ariana to ponder about what Gabriel actually was. The curtains dropped, giving the audience time for an intermission while the crew set the stage for the next act. "See, that wasn't so bad, boy. I don't see what you were so nervous about."
OOC: She is. BIC: The girl just stood there, in awe of what she saw in front of her. "Can you speak, or are you just going to stand there looking stupid?" Gabriel asked her. "Sorry. It's just not every day you see people with wings." she said, face red from embarrasment.
