"Ah...o-okay. I guess it wouldn't hurt. After I come back, I have to go somewhere so...order in if you're not so hot in the kitchen." He laughed, though it turned into a cough once he was out of sight. "Yuki!" Callen spotted increased security around a room. His eyes flicked from Ari to the men and she disappeared without a word. Soon the guards had fallen to the floor, dead. Ari lamely licked the blood from her hands and proceeded to rip the door from it's hinges. Another alarm went off.
Zain sighed, "Again...? I suppose I should make another cure for Daieko, huh?" Though the idea sickened him, he knew it was the right thing to do. He sat on the couch, "You should go tell Yuki the good news." Callen and Ari stopped by a lab, flipping though the written notes. They seemed to be in Shiv's handwriting. "Hmmm..." "Something wrong, Sensei?" Never lifting his eyes from the paper he shook his head, "No, it's fine. Zain can manage that."
Grinning, Zain nodded, "Me too. Where's Yuki, and Callen?" Callen stared up at the lab before jumping the fence and heading back inside, with a young girl at his side. The ones he'd killed were gone but so was Zero. "Dammit....Ari...find him." The young girl nodded, baring her fanged teeth and sniffed the air, moving through the halls. "Don't worry...Ari will find him."
Lightning shivered at that smile. Jenny...wasn't Jenny? "Who are you!?" she snarled, turning her gun from Noah to 'Jenny'. Akira stood still, a little boy was guarding Jenny with no Crystal l'Cie? And she'd been looking forward to kicking some Crystal l'Cie butt. "I don't get it...so then...Jenny wasn't alive after all?"
Zain's face was covered in sweat and blood. His blue eyes glittered brightly as he panted and fell over into his pool of blood, "I feel exhausted. But otherwise, normal."
Chie frowned at them, "C’mon, don’t apologize like that. It makes me look like I got no upbringing. I just wanted to ask some stuff. Really, that’s all.”
Chie gestured to Yukiko standing next to her, "Well nice to meet you. This is Yukiko Amagi and that slacker over there is Hatsuharu, he sits behind you." Haru waved, the 'I don't really care' look permamently on his face.
Zain felt his fangs disappear and whatever purple scales he had turn back into skin. The spines he had disappeared. Zain dropped to all fours and coughed; his entire body moving with the coughing. Lastly, Zain flicked his red eyes up and smiled. The red faded away back to purple and that started to fade, slower.
Akii turned on her heel and flashed a very grown up smile at Mage, "He wanted to hurt me." her voice was mixed with seven others. Luxord enlgarged three cards and shot three powerful blasts at E.G. "Let's even up the deck!" A final burst of time magic converged into a white blast.
Akira stared at Jenny, having run after Snow too and stopped behind him, her hand resting on her gunblade. "Light...what's...who is he?" Lightning kept her face impassive as she followed everyone out. Stopping beside Akira and Grey. Pulling out her gunblade she kept it as a gun and pointed it at Noah, "Snow...this boy. Could he have been taken by Omega too? Rgh, you, little boy! What're you doing up here with Jenny?" Her instincts told her what he was whispering couldn't have been praise about them. Something's not right here. Can Snow sense it too, or is he too preoccupied that she looks like Serah. At that thought, Lightning refocused her eyes on Jenny, "Are you alright, Jenny?"
Akii watched with a strange smile on her lips and the Organization put up a shield around her. Luxord shrugged, "Suit yourself, I've never been one to tempt fate for long." Turning on his heel, he fled the room.
Zain coughed until blood spurted from his mouth. "Dammit...wh-what's going on!?" Another fit of coughing hit him and knocked him to the floor. His blood wasn't red, it was black like always and more of it spilled out of him like a torrent. His claws reverted back into normal fingers and nails with the more blood he coughed up.
Vin sadly watched her run away. Max...I'm afraid I've hurt you already. This is Ash's fault, I just know it is."
He smiled softly, "It's just not safe to be connected to me. I don't want to put you in any danger Max. People close to me...usually end up dead." He put it as simply as he could, trying not to be overly cruel. Vin never could just say 'no'. It was always an elaborate story, true or otherwise.
Akii's eyes glowed a dark blue and her childishness dropped from her. "I don't like you." A bow and arrow of pure light flared in her hand as she fired off an arrow of light toward Parrotor. The Organization moved up beside Akii. Luxord sighed, his cards fanned in his hand again, "I sure hope this doesn't mean we have to die now. Raoxthu...I don't think Renee will be very pleased with this new you."
Zain jerked, surprised, and blinked several times, "Ah...y-yeah, I guess so. Can't hurt right? Not like it's gonna make me even more into a shadow....I hope." He lifted the beaker to his lips, "Well...bottoms up." and downed the cure in one long gulp. He dropped the beaker and coughed, "That's disgusting!"
Chie nodded and looked over at Souji, “Hey, are you going home by yourself? Why don’t you come with us? Oh, nearly forgot! I’m Chie Satonaka. You know I sit next to you, right?” Chie hurried through introducing herself and waited for him to respond. Haru sighed, watching Chie pressure the new boy. He chuckled lowly to himself.
Hours later, Zain had fallen into a strange mentality for finishing the cure. Once it was done, he sat there staring at the light purple color. It still swirled with hues of red.
"You know....that thing about rainy nights....?" Chie hinted. Haru lazed about the classroom, he had no reason go to home and Chie looked like she was talking about something interesting with Yukiko and Haruka. The new kid was interesting...sort of. He just wanted a place to take a nap really.
Luxord groaned, "I was worried the fates would throw something like this at us. What about Renee? I'm not sure she'll know how to react when you look like that." Akii jumped out of Zexion's arms and stepped in front of GM, "You don't want to do that. You, mister, are going to be hurt." Zexion scrambled forward, keeping his eyes on GM, "You'd harm a little girl?"
