Callen gave her a look and she shifted back in her chair. "I hope Ari hasn't bothered you like this before. She seems to have taken an interest in you Toji." Zain snorted, "Be grateful she doesn't want to chomp on you. Callen, she's new to being a shadow isn't she?" He looked surprised, "Ah, no. She's been a shadow longer than I have, in truth."
Roxas and Xion collapsed together. Mickey gasped, "No, stop him!" The Organization wouldn't move from Akii and she kept on smiling and laughing. Xone rested his hand on Mage's, "You need to stay calm. If you're not calm you're Keyblade can't do very much." Ash and Renee threw their Keyblades at Shadow Star, "Our attacks aren't working!"
Zain kept eating as he cooked. The shadows stared at Toji as he ate. Callen seemed only interested in the person while Ari seemed fasignated by how he ate. "Ari, don't stare like that, it's rude!" Zero snapped. Ari ignored him and poked Toji's face, "Eat..."
Everyone turned to look at him. Callen smiled, Zero scowled at him, muttering something about filthy humans again and Ari gave him the exact same blank look she always did. Zain waved food in front of his face, "Breafast's ready. Please don't ask how they got here. I don't even remember getting up." "Morning Toji."
Roxas and Xion ran at him, their Keyblades moving to strike him. Mickey followed them, dodge rolling under Shadow Star to avoid being hit and slashed at him from behind.
Early morning, just as Ari had said Callen and Zero were back. Zain made breakfast, feeling better than the world. "Zain, take it easy. You've drank a lot of my blood with the cure. You're running a fever." He lookd up, "Huh? No I'm not. I feel fine." "Ari." Ari touched her hand to Zain's forehead and nodded, "Zain-Sensei is hot. Fever." Zain touched his own head and sighed, "What d'ya know. I guess I do. Well I feel fine. I've got breakfast to make anyway. You said Toji has more questions for you? What kind of questions?" "If we knew that, don't you think we'd just write down the answers and leave?" Zain scowled at him, "Alright then."
Xehanort the last time when he takes Terra's body, hands down. The guy is relentless with those area attacks and BS.
Akii glanced around, she didn't seem fazed by the death and destruction. "You're Shadow Star." The Organization summoned their weapons and stood around Akii, blocking her from view even as she poked her little head through Xaldin and Xigbar's arms. Mickey was ready with his Keyblade. Nightmare seemed to come back alive as she groaned in Mage's mind, So many Keyblades...their voices are so loud. What happened in the milleniums I was in limbo? When did everyone become such loudmouths?
Ari's dull eyes bore into him, but she stepped aside, "At the moment...Sensei will be back tomorrow, with Zero and Ari will stay with Zain-Sensei. Goodnight...Toji...." She returned to Zain's room without a sound.
"Ari...doesn't remember much. What questions do you have left for Sensei?"
Ari stopped Toji just outside his room, "You asked Sensei if he was the first. Why are you asking such questions?" Ari's monotone voice was hushed for Zain's sake, but she was always quiet.
Xion stared, bewilderdly at them, "Huh? Oh, th-that's okay. I'm used to being called a boy. It's not like I have any girly definitions." An evil glint came into her blue eyes as she looked over at Gamer, But if you call me a boy again, you'll find yourself with a Keyblade stuck in your head!" Roxas helped Namine up and sighed, everything would go back to normal once this was over. He shouldn't get so worked up about someone else's life. Akii appeared behind Kazooie and childishly laughed, "Teehee, of course. We're all bound together~" Xaldin relentlessly followed Akii around as Zexion stood still, waiting for her to return to his side. "Akira-san. Try not to move so carelessly." She laughed and patted Xaldin's arm, "Hi."
Chie stared bewildered at the case of her DVD and dashed after Youske, "Stop right there! What did you do to my DVD!?" Catching him by the door her foot connected with his pride. Haru flinched as Chie hit him hard enough he wouldn't be walking right for days. "Ouch..."
Akii frowned, "But..." Zexion rested a hand on her shoulder, "I'm staying with Akira. For my own reasons." The original members glanced at eachother, trying to decide which was best for them. Akira had been with them from the very beginning...something they'd searched and given up their hearts for. "I don't see what science there is in leaving the side of something we've worked so hard to find." Vexen smugly looked down on Mage. Axel shrugged, throwing up his hands, "Hey, I go where Roxas goes. I'm gonna stay with my friends. Saix can do what he wants." Saix growled to himself, "I stay beside Xemnas, whether or not he's here. Xemnas is the one I follow. If Akira can give us Xemnas back, I'll stay beside her for the time being." "Akira...we are free, we have new lives to live. I'm not gonna stay bound to a little girl if I've got a heart of my own." Akii gave them watery eyes and her small fists clenched into her clothes, "No...Kingdom Hearts demands you stay beside her! Your actions are your own, but your hearts belong to me!" She stormed off with Zexion beside her and they let Saix go. "Sorry." "Hmph, touch me again and I'll rip your arm off." Roxas was hit by a flying Namine and fell to the ground, "Oof, what the... Namine, are you alright?" Mickey stepped up beside Kenneth, "Welp, then we'd better go in there after him and finish this once and for all. So we can move on to Xehanort and end this."
Zain went back to sleep and Ari curled close to him.
Ari's long drinks from Zain woke him. "Ah, wh-what are you doing? In my bed and drinking from me?!" "Callen-sama told Ari to watch Sensei. Keep Sensei safe, so Ari was feeding on Sensei to know you better. Don't hit Ari." she cringed. For a shadow she sure was odd. "I'm not going to hit you. You surprised me, is all. Don't feed on me when I'm asleep. You could've killed me."
Renee lifted her head and smiled, though her eyes were red and watering. "No matter what form you take, I'll always love you." Xion smiled and winked at Roxas, "See?" He let it go and turned away from The Author, "Ngh, shut up. I don't see a damn thing." ooc: night
Callen returned to Toji's home. Softly instructing Ari, "Zain will be your master now, okay? Sensei isn't leaving you, but giving you the opportunity to learn from Zain, okay? He is your Sensei for the time being." She sniffed and nodded, "Okay...Callen-sama. I'll see you again, soon. Ari will not let Sensei be hurt." He smiled, patted her head and left. Ari nuzzled her way up to Zain's neck, "Ari needs blood to track Sensei." She bit into him and cuddled closer to him, feeding on him as he slept.
Roxas gritted his teeth, "I'd like to see him prove it. He treats Renee with no emotion at all. What kind of a person does that?!" Xion stood with Renee's help and patted the girl's head, "She'll be fine Roxas. Us women are made of tougher stuff than you think. If The Author is Raoxthu...the emotion is still there. He just needs to find it again."
Nodding, Zain headed upstairs. He fell asleep on the guest bed and Ari followed him. Sitting beside him as he slept. She felt lost now that Callen had left. Curling up beside Zain, she closed her eyes, though pretending to sleep.
