OOC: I log in and everybodys already gone......figures.
"Thanks....I think." OOC:Got to go for now. Until tomorrow.....
"So you're saying that I's some kind of beast?"
Kain sat down as Kai petted him. "Guess he likes you." Michael looked at Kain. "Can you take us to where you found the piccolo?" Kain stood up and barked in approval. The group followed the wolf.
A wolf lept from the bushes, seeing what had invaded its territory. It growled as it readied to lunge at its opponents, but stopped as it stared at Michael. "Kain, is that you?" The wolf stopped growling and walked back through the bushes returning with a piccolo. Kain laid it at Michael's feet. "This is Sophia's. She must have dropped it." Michael handed it to Cliff. "You better hold on to it."
Michael heard something stirring in the bushes. "Seems that we're not alone...."
"From what I can see, they left a trail of spritual essence heading north, but the trail stops some distance ahead. We will probably find some clue to their whereabouts at the end of the trail."
Michael summoned his blade. "Your weapon has been symbiotically attached to your soul, that's why you won't need a sheath anymore. Now we had better get moving if we are going to find Sophia."
"Just wait....." As soon as Michael said this, Kai's sword vanished.
"Good, now draw your sword and throw away the sheath, you aren't going to need it anymore."
"Can you see which way they went?"
"Now we wait...." "You think she will sense anything?" "I don't see any reason why she wouldn't." Michael stood in place.
"Just focus your mind, Kai. Block out everything around you and you will be able to tap into your sixth sense."
"I hate to interrupt, but we have something far more important to take care of."
"Well, we had better get back to the inn. We need to be well rested for tomorrow." OOC: G2G. See you tomorrow.
"Looks good. You did a good job grandpa." "Well, I'm not one to brag, but I did put my heart and soul into that armor. Now if you could bring me some great grandchildren...." Michael fell out of the chair. "Grandpa! Stop saying things like that!" Garin laughed. "Still can't take a joke...." "I think I like your grandpa, boy." "Now don't you get started on me too, you old lecher!" The dragon just laughed.
They sat down and enjoyed a nice meal. After a while, Garin came out with a white suit of armor that looked identical to Michael's. "Go ahead, try it on." Garin said as he handed Kai the armor.
The two walked, hand in hand, to Michael's grandparent's house. "Grandpa, fire up the forge. We need a suit of armor made." "Ok, I'll get right on it." Garin said. "We might as well eat while we are here."
"I'll have my grandpa make you some new armor. He used to be a smith. Besides, with your new wings, you are going to need something more comfortable, if you want to use them, that is."
"Those wings look beautiful on you." Michael said, smiling.
