"I'm sorry i led you on a wild goose chase..." she said. She felt bad about him getting hurt from her chase.
"It was good practice though. I wanna go with you and help... There's a sort of 'mob' after me and i was wanting someone to hang with. I just feel scared alone," she said, making a sad face, her eyes slightly wet.

She frowned and sighed.
"Tis true...." she said. She looked down at her chaffing hands. The skin stretched quickly to heal, and she whimpered.

"I never wanted to be "daddy's little girl forever".... I took my own path when i had to have heart surgery. I was developed with a high fever when i was 7, and my dad was a surgeon. He used the ice crystal to cool my heart down to pump not so much blood, but enough to keep me strong and alive. He was killed after the surgery, because he was protecting me. These people came in wanting the crystal and they were willing to kill me for it...I got so sad and angry once i saw them kill him, so i froze everything... Even time for myself.... Everything was slow. A second was one minute in that time. I got it reversed somehow when i came home, seeing my mom dead... They attacked her for not letting them know what happened to me and why they couldn't see me... Moving too fast i guess.... " she said.

She finished , her hands slightly black from being burned. It should heal on their own soon, but they hurt.
"Why did i start what?" she asked.

"It's my fault you got hurt, so stay still so i don't burn myself too bad," she said, putting her hands on his back again, trying not to scream. She groaned as she emitted some of her ice to him. It should cool him off enough so that he'd heal faster.

She stopped, wanting so bad to get to the ledge and jump off.. Yet she didn't want to leave him. she groaned in agitation and ran at him. surely his heat should help him, but ice also helped. She put her very cold hands o his skin. They felt like fire, where he probably harnessed it. She kept her hands on his back, no matter how much it burned. She forced an ice entity in him to make him heal fast.
"Oww!" she shouted after she got done. Her hands looked burned and blistered.

"Heh..pathetic.. You didn't even try to hurt me..." she said still running. She was trying to buy some time before she reached the ledge.

She frowned and got lose from his grip. She didn't really believe he would hurt her.
"You're pathetic, trying to threaten me. Hurt me! I dare you!" she shouted taking off.

She stopped suddenly, letting him pass her quickly.
"I've been training since that age too..... I am very talented," she smirked and turned her back to him. She was ready to take off running again.

Carli hadn't really had any time to say anything.; The only thing she heard was his name was Laith and then she was on another back, and already being took off with. She let out a slight scream, scared and afraid. She didn't know if the guards were going to get her or not. They have been for a while, but she hadn't met this guy before. Would he turn her in? Or really help her. Then she forgot Jecht.
"Jecht! Come on!" she shouted, trying not to shout in Laith's ear to make him go deaf, at the least. She held on tight, but not too tight. Enough not to fall off. The wind blew in her eyes, making them water. She had to close her eyes and feel the sudden air rush blow against her.

Carli was all caught up in her mind, that she hadn't even noticed a newer person come in. Her eyes only stayed focused on the palace. She saw guards, mostly, which meant that the Queen was near there. Her feet shuffled slightly on the rock. A single sweat drop, rolled down the side of her face. She was too nervous to actually barge in there and kill the queen herself, and risk getting caught and beheaded more than likely. She saw a guard look straight at her. Her eyes dilated and then went small. Horror on her face. The guard yelled out something and they all started running back outside. She heard a titanium door open, which sounded on the other side of the large fence. She let out a stiffed gasp and lost her foot, falling back off the large rock.
"ah!" she screamed out, falling off, and towards the dirt ground.
