"Ok, guess I'll go rejoin my companions now..." "Wait, take this with you..." The elder handed Michael a book. On the cover were the words 'Tome of Zigstrahl'. "The third forbidden book....." Michael silently left the elder's house and headed for the inn.
Michael entered the elder's house. "Ok, someone has a lot of explaining to do!" "I am truly sorry about the strange welcome, young one. It looks like my guard made a mistake..." The elder pulled out a scroll. "You see, he mistook you for the destined child, the one who would restore our race to its former glory." Michael looked at the scroll. On it was a picture of a winged keldon that slightly resembled himself, but bore silver wings instead of black. "Looks like the man was color-blind..."
"Don't ask me! I've got no clue what this crazy man is talking about!" The gates opened and Michael practically was dragged to the elder's house. "Let me go, get your hands off of me!" Michael shouted
After walking some distance, they reached the keldon settlement of Lyton. The gate guard started to ready his weapon, but lowered it and knelt after seeing Michael. Michael just stared at him quizically. "Thank the gods! The destined one finally arrived!" the guard shouted. "Ok, you lost me..." Michael said
OOC: Finland is nice, but I prefer Japan. BIC:"Well then, let's get going."
"We'll get her back, Cliff. I stake my life on it, but for now we are heading to a keldon settlement east of here."
"There's a keldon settlement to the east of here...." Michael heard Cliff and turned towards him. "What's wrong?"
Michael started blushing. "N-nevermind....it's nothing."
Michael got bored and left the confines of his mind. He awoke a few minutes later. "Hey Kai, can I ask you something?"
OOC: He did have an adopted brother, but he's nothing but a pile of ashes now. The dragon is funny, even though he has the personality of a lecherous old fart. "Just remember to take pictures of the honeymoon." The dragon started to laugh. "Would you get your head out of the gutter for five seconds?!" "I'm kidding! You have absolutely no sense of humor."
"Kai is on your mind a lot nowadays...." "What of it?" "Just wondering when you two are going to finally tie the knot." "That's none of your business!" "You're so easy to torment." "Just quit it, will you?"
OOC: But why would that be affecting him now? BIC: Michael thought he was dreaming he was wandering through his own mind. "Searching for answers, are we?" "Where am I?" "Are you dense, or just stupid? You are in your own mind." Michael looked around. He saw a long hallway with many doors. "Are you crazy? This couldn't be my mind..." "But it is. What can I say, you are a very orderly person." "So how do I get out of here?" "Just use the door behind you, take some time to explore if you want. It's your mind after all..."
OOC: Just wandered off, I guess..... BIC: Michael yawned. "Don't know why I'm so tired....." He fell back asleep. "You'd think you were drunk or something....."
Michael pulled out his map. "I have no clue where to go now....."
Michael yawned as he woke up. "That was a good nap.....Where did Cliff go?"
Michael just smiled as he was sleeping. "I half-expected you to start purring right about now...." "I'm not a cat....." "You would think differently if you could see yourself right now."
OOC: Going to be off and on for a while today, so don't be alarmed if I'm not on... BIC: Michael was lying on the grass, snoring loudly. "Get up, lazy! There's work to be done." "Stop bothering me, I'm tired......"
OOC: Trust me....too much to explain.... BIC: After about an hour and a half, Michael and Kai finally managed to drag Cliff out of the city. Michael fell on the ground. "Geez, that was like trying to move a mountain! I need to rest...." OOC: G2G for now....
"Don't drop him now, or it's going to hurt like hell."
"You're going to have to help me drag him out of here, Kai. Even with both of us lifting him up, we wouldn't be able to fly him out of here...."
