Saix still shoved Mage behind him as a shockwave came from the creature as it slammed a large misshappen fist into the ground without slowing it's progress. Lunatic blocked the wave from hitting Mage, "Because it's not the same as before! Everyone! You know what to do, let's get this thing out of our darkness." Vexen sighed, "And they were such beautiful creations of mine. Maybe not on the outside," he added as he caught Larxene's look, "But they were a prize. Such raw power utilized in small amounts." Larxene tossed her Foudre into the ground before it and electricuted it. The creature still came onward and Xaldin and Lexaeus took frontline. Xenree barely paid attention to Alphonse as he fought, as long as she didn't hear a scream of pain, she knew he was fine. Her face portrayed nothing of what she was thinking. Her hood hiding a bit of her face as she walked past him, "Get up. You're not finished yet." She tossed him an elixer to get him back on his feet as she passed by. Her coat brushed his shoulder and briefly revealed something gleaming inside. The keychain of a Keyblade glimmered in the light for a moment before the flap of her coat closed and she swiftly moved onwards to the next clearing.
"Probably because I tried to kill everyone a while back. But I was confused. My true desire is now made up in my eyes. They'll all see now...just who I am." Inclining her head to the open space, she stepped aside and revealed a Defender Heartless. It's large shield with a dog-like head facing Alphonse. Everyone was on alert as the moan came from a place closer to them followed by a shriek. Saix pushed Mage behind him and cast a hateful look toward Vexen. "They must have gotten out!" Marluxia looked around, "Where's Zexion? And Akira?! They're still on the ship?" "Better they stay out of this. Akira would get hurt." A black shape lumbered quickly down the corridor at them, looking similar to the one Mage had fought. Nightmare groaned, And here I was thinking those things were all dead.
Xenree barely moved, "From the heartless and the darkness? Or did you have something else in mind of needing to be protected from?" Her Organization coat rustled as she stopped in another small clearing, the I.O. Tower was coming into view. Demyx and the others silently walked along the halls of the dark corridors until they heard a moan that stopped them still. "Saix, please tell me that was your stomach." Saix growled at him and scanned the darkness. "Hey, you see that?" Xigbar summoned his arrowguns and stood on alert.
Demyx sighed, "I'm not moping Hestia...I'm just...it makes me sad to know that our leader murdered an innocent woman like that. It doesn't seem like him." Vexen disagreed, "It sounds just like our Xemnas. He fought a young boy and his friends to get what he wanted a few years ago. Why not this time?" Saix wanted to shut them up, but he focused on keeping the dark corridor aimed for the Castle and Mage on her feet. Xenree dragged Alphonse along silently before she broke the silence and pulled up her hood, "Why do you want to become a Keyblade wielder, Alphonse?"
Xenree gave him a look of disdain, "A touchy feely, Keyblade wielder...hmm..." she turned again and walked off down the hall again. "Don't get left behind!" she called back to him. Saix nodded and motioned for everyone to gather, "Yes, we can always return here after we're rested." he said, opening a dark corridor back to the Castle that Never Was. Demyx felt like he'd been scolded and moped.
"Hmm, right..." Nicholi sighed and dropped his head to his chest.
Xenree snapped her fingers and a zero graviraga flung all the purebloods into the sky. "You manage well." Several of the same black daggar formed in her hand and she threw them at the floating heartless, destroying them. "But you rely on a friend. You remind me of someone I met a long time ago. He also thought I was a bad person." Demyx blinked in confusion and glanced at his shadow, "Saix, is my shadow moving to you?" Saix glanced at it and back to Mage, "Just a bit."
Xenree stifled a yawn as the purebloods leapt at Alphonse, attempting to cover him with their shadowy, black flesh. Demyx noticed Mage staring at him or rather his shadow, but being paranoid thought it was at him, "You okay, Mage?"
Saix grumbled at Mage's answer, "Do you think it was fair on Xemnas' part that he was taken away? Xehanort may or may not still live like a normal person once we remove Xemnas." Xenree nodded, "I can. Perhaps lesser heartless are needed for you. Come. Follow me and we shall finish this pathetic test and be on our way, little Keyblade wielder." She turned on her heel and walked further down the hall and into an open space. Sweeping her arm around the area she turned back to Alphonse, "Defeat the heartless so we may proceed. I will lend my aid if things get too rough for you." Several purebloods popped up from the ground and moved toward Alphonse.
Lightning was slightly fazed by Omega threatening to call her by her real name. Enough that she let his kick knock the wind out of her. Rolling from her side on the ground, she leapt to her feet long enough to see Omega's blast coming and think, I really shouldn't have agreed to help Snow with this. She was knocked back and down, taking Akira with her to shield her. When she could stand again, she set her icy eyes on Omega, "We choose our own path. Not one set for us by the likes of you or anybody else. I'm no one's slave!" She cast Thundaga at him, hoping to do as much damage as she could.
Xenree lost her impatience and her smile, "Funny. Too bad I've heard that one before. Is there something you desire? Or must I continue on without repaying you and instead follow you around like a shadow." Tron glanced at his world being swallowed by darkness. "Xemnas was the Nobody of Xehanort. I suppose if we make Xehanort a heartless again, we'd have our Xemnas again."
"I see...that will become troublesome. Well, we could always call Zero to come back. Though I dislike the idea of having my brother back in this house. His knowledge of Zain's death would bode ill for an already dead creature." he said, refering to Daieko.
Tron calmed himself and nervously met Xenree's silvery stare, "I don't think neither you nor I can destroy her. If it gets you out of here alive and saves my world, I'd agree with her. She did say she'd do anything for you. I'd take her up on that offer." Xenree waited for them to stop talking. Her patience wearing thin. "Let's MOVE! I don't have all day. Things to do, people to kill, worlds to destroy and all that." A dull sensation went through her and a little image of a girl (Mage) rushed through her head.
Nicholi slipped in, trying not to disturb Toji's work, "Is there a right way to precieve your girlfriend's sorrow and not offend her?" he tried to out-right say it.
Zane stood outside, he hadn't seen Catherine return. Zee smiled comfortingly and pulled her into bed with him. "We should sleep. We both need our rest."
"Renee..." Marluxia guessed. "Perhaps just her Keyblade. She did give it to Renee for safekeeping after all. My guess would be that." "No, way, I know Xenree, dark or not. Xenree is looking for Xemnas. REmember? She was borne to protect Xemnas. It was our failsafe so we'd keep our Superior. Having such a strong Nobody protecting him, it was genius."
Vin smiled as he saw Sakura, "We're okay. Just a little winded." His smile faded away as he saw Ash sitting under a tree a ways away from the house. Ash stood as he spotted Vin, a brief flick of his fingers in a wave. I figured they'd brought him here. Boy can't even fend for himself nowdays. It's deplorable that I have to rely on him for my task.
I'm gonna have to leave soon. After I write this paper.
None of the Organization knew what she was mumbling about and they remained silent. Axel frowned, "I don't know about that Mage...the last thing she said to us was..." he drifted off into a memory... "Xenree, hey, you comin' back any time soon?" "After all these classes with Merlin, yes. Xemnas is my superior no matter what. I exist like this to keep him safe. Without Xemnas....I'm nothing but darkness. How can I be calm and normal if I have nothing to protect?" She smiled at him and Axel watched her walk out of the Castle... "She's not going to be herself unless we find a way to get Xemnas back. Without our Superior, Xenree's just darkness in human form. If she even considers herself still human."
Haha. :D
