In KH1, CoM, KH2, and 358/2 Days, it's specified exactly who is writing the journal (Jiminy for the first 3 cases, Roxas for the fourth). Whether Terra, Ventus, or Aqua wrote their journals in BBS, or were just there for the player to read is debatable. But if the three did in fact write their journals, then the same would apply to Sora and Riku and KH3D (since Jiminy wasn't writing the journal in that game either), which would probably mean Sora doesn't need Jiminy for journals anymore in KH3...
