"Cliff!" Michael shouted. "We're leaving now!"
"Keep it. I've always thought it looked good on you. Let's go, I don't want to look at this junk heap anymore." He put his arm around Kai.
"Who am I kidding?" Michael threw his father's ring into the forest. "I never wanted to be a king."
"I can't deny what is in my blood....but I can decide where my kingdom will be. Besides, We made plans to get married, remember? I would never leave you."
Michael wiped the tears from his face. "Why did you run away?"
Michael almost cut his throat. At the last second, he threw his sword away in anger. "Damn, I don't even have the guts to go through with this...." The sword dissapeared and Michael continued to cry.
"No...." Michael fell to his knees and cried. He slammed his fist into the ground. "Damn it all....I never wanted this, and now my true love thinks that I am some kind of monster...." Michael called forth his sword. "I guess I was meant to be a lone wolf after all...." He started to raise the sword to his throat. "Michael, what are you doing?!"
"Kai, wait!" Michael ran after her.
"I'm a prince, soon to be a king..."

After more running, Kai and Michael eventually ran into Cliff and Kotone. "Everyone okay?"
They continued to run through the palace. When they entered the next room, they saw Angel lying there, unconsious. Michael drew the rune of healing on her forehead and healed her injuries. "Why did you heal her?" "Couldn't just leave her to die, now could I?" "Merciful to a fault...." "Now come on, we have to find the others."
"Now let's hurry and find the others."
"Oh, well good luck with that." Michael put his hand on Kai's shoulder. "No matter what happens, I will always be me. Nothing can change that."
"Michael found some machinery used for some sick project his father started to revive dead keldon. He destroyed it and is heading to the upper floors. You had best get out of here, because he is not in a good mood and I don't know what he is going to do if he finds Angel...
"The others are on the upper floors. I wonder if they are ok...."
Michael took the book he found and used the torch to burn it. "The end of a dark legacy...."
