Lynne stopped dead when she saw the black haired EBO officer talking to Kurisu. "This can't be good. No...why doesn't he run!?" Demitri kept his fingers lack on his rifle, "Yes...well I was hoping I'd catch up to one of you slimy filth. You guys are certainly are quick aren't you? Well your days of running are over." He lifted his rifle and crooked it in his shoulder.
"But..." he shrugged, "Alright then. They're all yours Toji. Careful, I'm sure this one's high or something." Zero growled and Callen touched a hand to his shoulder, "Enough Zero. Let's go. We need to find Nicholi before he bleeds out." Zero jumped up, limping slightly and his eyes glazed over with pain.
Zain followed, he pushed through the doors to the hospital and searched through the rooms. It was easy to find them as Zero was flipping out and you could hear his yells from the front door. He burst into Zero's room; Callen stood beside him, trying to pull a few doctors off of Zero who were restraining him to the bed. Callen looked like he'd been burned pretty badly, while most of Zero's skin was covered in lacerations. Nicholi was missing. "Zero, Callen! Where's Nicholi?" Zero's pale eyes flicked from doctor to doctor and finally to Zain, "Gone! He ran! I gotta go find him. He's in worse shape and us! That's my brother out there!" Callen was holding back on his unusual strength as he pulled on a doctor, "Let him go. Zero's fine." "Sir, I suggest you stand back. Your son is completely shreaded. Whoever attacked you really did a number on the both of you."
Renee turned quickly, her eyes wide as she was struck with the Shadow Corruption. Xemnas shook his head, "We have no way to follow a light pathway." Saix patted Mage's head, "Terra will be fine. He's more than capable of taking care of himself." Xenree's eyes glittered, "No, and you won't know my name anytime soon." Her fingers flexed at her sides and she looked up at the clock tower, clearly distracted.
Zain opened his mouth to argue when the phone rang. He sat perfectly still until the third ring and snatched it up. "Hello? What? That's insane! Alright, fine. We're on our way. Hmm? No...but she-- Alright then. Meet you there." Zain picked up his jacket and pulled it on, "C'mon sis, we have to get to the hospital. Callen, Zero and Nicholi were attacked. Apparently police got there before they could get out so they brought them to the hospital. If they find out they're shadow's, humans will flip out."
Yes, Demitri is talking to Kurisu. xP no prob.
Ash watched her move, his pale eyes settling on the blade for a moment before he nodded. He hoped she wouldn't get hurt by his fire. The thought of him being cut by a blade he summoned seemed likely too, but he dismissed the thoughts of failure. You aren't failures until you admit defeat. Ash had been listening to Ivan speak about attacking from behind and thought that dishonorable, not that he could've cared about honor. Ash touched the tip of his finger to the blade he'd summoned for Kegan. Running a glowing finger along the edge, it warmed and heated to a point where it glowed white. "It's time Kegan. Be careful, I can't protect you without hurting you or myself."
Lynne dashed off without a parting word, she didn't believe in that sort of thing. Scaling to the top of a building, she hesitated and a bullet pinged off of where she would've put her hand, Aren't I lucky today. she thought and continued along the rooftops. The bullets seemed to stop for a while as she ran, leaping from one building's roof to the next. Ryku lost sight of Lynne and the other Runners as they all split up. He frowned and stretched, "Long day... Too bad they don't stand still long enough to nab one for my paycheck. Demitri's medical bills are piling up." Demitri pursued the nearest one he could. Keeping to the shadows, he watched him stop and curiosity sparked him to move slowly. He stepped into the northern plaza with the lone Runner and held his assult rifle by his side, loosely hanging, "Nice day for a run, huh?" A grin spread across his face with a malicious intent all over his face.
He held her to him as he closed the door behind them and deepened their kiss.
Saix eyed Nightmare, he didn't know what Mage and that Keyblade shared but since Mage kept referring to it like a seperate person, he figured it was incredibly special to her. "Alright then Mage, if you say so." Luxord jogged up to them, "Terra's gone. He seems to have left Halloween Town without our permission." Renee listened and let Yen Sid examine her wound some more. His magic tingled against her skin and she sighed, "So I'm infected with a toxin from Xenree. With her technically having died, I have no Nobody and Xenree won't feel this on her. Damn...she really figured out how to screw me over." Xenree took Saphique to Twilight Town. Letting him play Grandstander with Seifer, Rai and the others she wandered around. Her mind focused on other things as she was meant to bump into a boy standing in front of the clock tower. Her body disolved as she passed through him like smoke and solidified again once she'd passed through. Feeling him, she turned again and stared at him. "Evening..." a small, dark smile flitted on her lips the longer she looked at him.
Zain's head sprang up with surprise and shock, "But, Yuki...I'm sure there are some sort of rules or something that prevent things like that from happening." Ari left with a bowl of cereal in her hands and Zain relaxed considerably, "I can't...Ari's my friend. How...I don't even know how I'd even start that conversation."
Zain's fist tightened and he dropped his gaze to the table, "Then you see my problem. It's not like I can do anything about either and yet...one is so close I could reach out and take it if I wanted." Without really adressing it, he spoke freely about Ari in front of her.
"You can stop calling me little now. I remembered everything. It's all so...depressing. I may be only one year old, look about 13 and mentally be 17 but...I..." he cut off as Ari walked through the kitchen. She wore shorts and a loose fitting t-shirt. As hard as he tried, he couldn't stop himself from thinking that way.
Shiv took notice of Sam, Rist and Vanessa's expressions and their words. "Oh, do stay as long as you wish. Free of charge...lucky for you. I'm in no hurry to kick you all out of here and we're already on the move so...I insist you stay and have a good time. Dinner will be ready in fifteen and I think Vanessa has been quite lonely without company other than little old me." She smiled and disappeared behind a dark blue door leading to the kitchen. Sam turned to Risit, "At least we don't have to pay and they're not trying to kill us." Sam could never be too sure, but she felt slightly more at ease here. Though, knowing the woman could do magic had her guessing at her age. "Say Vanessa, how old is Miss LeCarde? She keeps calling herself old, but she looks around 20."
Zain sat moodily at the table. He'd spent all of yesterday talking to Ari and today was unsucessfully an act of blocking out those thoughts about Ari.
Xenree hid her smirk, "If we're going to use Corridors of Darkness, wouldn't that mean we're using darkness like a certain few bad guys Sora and Riku had to fight way back when? Seriously, use your heads." Though she figured it would be easier for her to use one of those corridors. Riku hadn't left a single detail out of his secret journal of his travels..including the corridors.
Zain felt the full force of his memories return. The realization his parents were killed by some shadow by Lady Shiv's order's sent him reeling. His head aching, he bolted to Ari's room and curled beside her on her bed. "I'm sorry, Ari. What's wrong with me? Where is the real Zain so he can have his memories back. They're so...depressing and dark. I can't belive all this happened to one guy i'm supposed to resemble and be." Ari rubbed his hair and back, comforting him. Zain isn't Zain-Sensei...but you are close to him. Ari knows because she can feel Zain-Sensei's heart within you. Zain is good, Ari will help you be more like Zain-Sensei and grow up." Zain felt an involuntary wave of warmth toward Ari. He didn't like her that way, he couldn't.
Zane grinned and nodded, pulling her toward their room. "It's been too long since we've been together."
Time slowed for Light. She remembered what she'd said to Hope about her name. It flashes bright and then disappears. Lightning can't protect, it can only destroy. As time resumed, Lightning felt the blow to her Eidolin and jumped off Odin's back. He disappeared in a flash of light and rose petals. Dropping to one knee, she couldn't find the energy to stand anymore.
Zain cringed at Yuki's words and watched her go. "Jeez, I get laid once and suddenly I'm the bad guy." He wandered into his room, filled with the old things of Zain's before. "Everything feels like mine and I remember it so, but...it's not really mine." he sighed and flopped down on his bed.
