Ash thought carefully, tapping her chin with an elegant finger. "I believe I'll let you choose that path. Your name is Hana correct? Well, it's a long journey either way. Whatever Tower's closest should be logical to go to first. I'm ready for anything." She eased her way onto her horse, patting it's shoulder.
Saix nodded. Yen Sid cleared his throat, "Having the Master isn't enough to tame the dog again. Xemnas and Xenree must be together for longer than a few moments. Xemnas should know what to do to reclaim his pet." Saix growled at Alphonse, "She's probably using you." Demyx and the others were still in the dark corridors. Everyone felt it. Saph's power of darkness and heart of light created a shockwave through the corridors everytime he entered and exited. "What was that?" Xemnas turned and braced himself against the shockwave, "Light embraced by Darkness...Dawn...someone else is in the corridors." Larxene opened her mouth to add an unnecessary comment when Saph ran toward them. Skidding to a stop and summoning Omega. "Who are you guys?" Everyone stared at him, "Dawn." Xaldin smirked and Xigbar took careful aim at the boy.
Ash hadn't realized he'd spoken out loud when Kegan responded to him. "Uh...I've developed a habit of underestimating people...Reapers, when it comes to fighting or intelligence. Clearly I'm wrong. I was just reminding myself not to do that." His fingers in his pocket touched the piece of paper again and his white eyebrows knitted together in thought, What does it mean? I...can't remember... Tugging it out of his pocket, he glanced at it. It looked like there used to be more to the simple sentence, but if there was, he didn't know where it was or what it said. How frustrating...
Ari flinched as if she'd been slapped and Zain was by her side, "Why would Toji he looking into that? Who doesn't have emotions?" Callen and Nicholi grumbled to themselves, "I might've mentioned to him that Ari and I don't have actual emotions. Anything we seem to feel is practiced and fake." Callen dragged his hand through his hair. "I shouldn't have involved you all in our family issues..."
Yen Sid sighed, he'd tried to explain. Saix's glare turned feral, "Because she's evil. Xenree is the embodiment of pure Darkness. But she has no personality of her own. Darkness controls her and she controls it. It's a vicious circle in her mind." A loud crack sounded in Twilight Town as Xenree slapped Saphique. "Useless child! Find me MAGE! That little girl has something of mine!" Her shriek caused people in town to cower and run home. Saph remained motionless, his cheek was a dark red and a trickle of blood slipped from the corner of his mouth. "Y-yes ma'am." Saph disappeared into a dark corridor, leaving Xenree to do what she wanted. Saph ran, fleeing from his mistress, in search of Al. He knew his friend would help him find this Mage Xenree was looking for.
Ryku took a moment, getting up and cautiously lifting his sniper rifle onto his shoulder, pointing at the sky. "Give me the name of the brunnette who's stalking me and I'll give you my name." he said, referring to Lynne. Ryku's pale blue eyes ran down Hanna's body and back to her face. "You're obviously not her, but you are in league with her." His own curiosity was getting the better of him. Demitri winced slightly as he stood and coughed a few more times. "You can count on that I'll be coming for you. I don't take defeat lightly." Demitri breathed deeply and when he didn't start to cough again, he slid his knife and pistol back into their respective holsters. "But I swear on all that's holy, if you go easy on me again just because I coughed a few times, I'll kill you with no hesitation and no mercy. There won't be any pride or dignity in the way you'll die." His black eyes narrowed in a challenge and he straightened his clothes, brushing off the dirt.
Ash stared at her as she walked away, his mind twirling around what she'd said. Just go and see where you end up? Could it be that simple? Shrugging, he took her word for it and followed her, hurrying slightly to walk beside her instead of behind. His pale eyes scanned around the areas they passed. Only a tiny bit of curiosity gleamed in him and was always snuffed out as soon as he could recall a fact about it. Falling into a silence, Ash swayed as he caught a wave of dizziness from something he smelt in the air. Blinking it away, he turned his attention to studying his partner. Girls were often faster and more agile, but often not as strong. Was that why he was paired with her? Because he summoned a weapon that required agility more than strength? Ash knew his powers were designed for a person with strength...that's what fire was...a strength element, but fire was quick to move too. "I must not underestimate people." he recited aloud.
Ash weeved back through the crowds to her new partner, "I wouldn't want you to get lost now." Wrapping her thin, pale fingers around the other girl's wrist, noticing the horse she dragged along, she pulled her at a far quicker speed than she was moving toward the far side of town. She spotted a good place to buy herself a horse and stopped in front of the man, "I'll need a sound horse. Your offer?" "Twenty or nothin'" Ash scowled, Hmph, I could pay....but theivery wouldn't look very well in front of my friend here... Regretably, she pulled out what remained of her golden coins, shelling out twenty of them before sighing and choosing a black horse with white stockings. "Good boy..." she murmered to him, stroking a hand along his nose. A small obedience spell worked wonders for her horse. He'd follow her anywhere as long as she commanded it. ooc: sorry for such a long time of not posting. I've had a lot on my mind that this one completely slipped and working on getting my grades back up. I'll be more active now, promise.
Ryku dropped, pain radiated upward from her kick, "Ah jeez, give a guy some slack. That's gonna hurt tomorrow." He glanced down at his brother, Lying down and giving up already? Seems to be his habit of late. Ryku relaxed back onto the roof, "Take a chill pill, woman. At least you're not trying to have a converstation with my brother. I'd say he's anti-social, but that'd just be cruel." He really didn't know what he was saying or why his mouth was still running, but it was something. Demitri sighed, "Name's Demitri Fox. Nothin' to it. I think your friend has my brother under control."
Am I back in, or what?
Xenree dropped the limp body and waited for her new pet. Saphique came running down the long roads toward her, "What's the big idea? Goin' off fighten, just like that, without any concern for yourself or me?! Vile woman!" Xenree's silver eyes pierced him, "Shut up. I don't suppose you made yourself useful in the time I've left you alone."
Zain huffed as Ari stood and made him a sandwhich.
Kisa sat there on the floor for a minute before Lucien helped her up. "You tell those idiots that my mother will get better. I'm not signing anything." Wiping her eyes with the handkerchif he held out to her, she smoothed her hair and gathered herself back together. "I...I must get back to cleaning." Lucien nodded, giving his young charge a jolt of electricity and Kisa wrote down her response to the doctors, her dear butler would need written proof of her words. Breathing deeply, Kisa pushed her way back into the cafeteria. She could practically feel the tension in there. She remained silent. Frosts comment about no class had reminded her of how little she prided her mother's royal blood. Her mother's illness had passed on to Kisa, but this was a secret she'd take to her grave. If her illness made her trash and lower class, the better. No one would notice if the purple haired trash would disappear. Kisa slumped against the wall, her legs didn't seem to want to hold her upright anymore. Filled with shock and an age old grief, she pulled out and rewinded her father's pocketwatch, humming a lulluby her mother sang to her every night.
Yen Sid moved back to Alphonse, Saix following him. "Your friends were here. And this one remains. Though that he mentions Xenree concernes me greatly." Saix glared down at Alphonse, his yellow eyes severe. Xenree warped away from his blade, and behind him, "I shall give you a fate far worse than that of any human can experience with death." She grabbed him from behind, Dark Void poking into his back. "I give you the fate of a Nobody." Her dark Keyblade pierced into his heart from behind. Her smile would be the last thing he would see.
He shivered under her touch and pulled her head down to kiss her.
Saix didn't smile at Yen Sid as the two men stared at each other. Yen Sid broke away first, moving to look out his window, "Isa...the young boy who traveled with his friend Lea to the castle in Radiant Garden. Yes, I know all about you. And the little one...Mage...yes, Neo told me all about you when he came to visit." Yen Sid would be the only one to remember Neo as he was. To everyone else, Neo or Xone was nothing but a hard to remember memory. Xenree laughed hysterically, "TRY? Oh, my dear, you shall regret giving me such an opportunity. You..." she warped directly in front of him and kicked him back, closer to the ring of dark fire, "Will live to feel the pain of as many deaths as your conscience can survive."
Xenree wrestled with her urge to slap them, but the sight of darkness made her feel tingly. As if she'd listened to the others when they spoke. Darkness had always sheltered her and now she'd embrace it as much as she could, instead of being swallowed up by it. Walking through, the sight of swirling dark colors excited her more than what lie on the other side. She came out, glancing at the setting sun and sheilding her eyes, "It's bright..." Under her clothes, she could feel something slithering in her skin. Darkness had touched and marked her as it's belonging. Her silver eyes probed the area of Twiight Town. "So...where to first?" I don't think t his was completely thought through. What do we fight the Heartless with? Our hands?"
Zain glanced up at Yuki and made a face, "Gross, couldn't you wait until I'd left the house or something?" Nicholi stared at the tv, even though it was only a paid advertising, "Women have needs too, Zain. Don't underestimate the female body." Zain opened his mouth to make a comment and Ari closed it for him, "To yourself."
In the silence, Ari sat on Zain's lap, her head tucked under his chin as she ate. In an almost possessive manner, Zain wrapped his arms around her. Nicholi smiled and chose to ignore them.
Nicholi nodded and Zain stood as he heard Ari on the stairs. A small smile on her lips as she brushed past Zain and grabbed herself a premade sandwhich.
