A figure floated in darkness. Silver eyes opened, glittering, giving color to the darkened realm. My head.... I wonder... 'Keyblades of Dark and Light will lock in battle, Creating this war of shadow. All hail the Darkened Ruler, That which will be much more crueler, A fate that cannot be avoided by Keyblade wielders of all places, Shall find their fates and lives all covered in ashes.' Those silver eyes closed and the pure darkness fell away. Standing, she opened the dark corridor she'd fallen asleep in and exited into the twilight covered Central Station. Who were these people? Odd, she'd never seen them around Twilight Town before. Thankful to have her hood up so they couldn't see her face, she took a few steps closer toward them. It was odd how she was dressed, the coat she'd made to protect herself from darkness and light, but that wouldn't matter long if they were apart of the prophicy.
Hmm, I guess it makes sense...my head hurts. I'm going to stand by that CO isn't destroyed since Ventus is still in the Room of Awakening in there. CTNW....meh, a lot of stuff happened during that battle. Xemnas and Sora also destroyed all the buildings before the Castle during their battle.
Lightning heard Snow in his commotion. Turning her head to see that light and Snow suspended by a black wire. "Snow!" Light took off, as fast as she could toward him, her gunblade poised to slice the wire in half and release her companion. "Akira, handle Dahaka!" Light pushed off the ground and struck the wire. With all her heart she hoped it would break as time seemed to slow around her. Akira nodded briefly at Light's words. She wanted to help her mentor free Snow, but Light could handle it...couldn't she? Bracing herself against the gust of wind, she took up Lightning's point and casted Thunder on Dahaka. What was the breaking point for the fal'Cie?
Xenree closed her eyes and let the sound of the Heartless' footsteps fill her ears. Her feet moved of their own accord. Leading her into the mass of Heartless. Her Keyblade flashed and sliced through two. Another leapt toward her head and her hand flew out and snatched it out of the air. It wiggled in her grip. Keeping the Heartless in her hand away from her, she flung Dark Void into the mass in a Strike Raid, clearing a long path.
I'm ready. And just to clear up, I don't think the Castle that Never Was was destroyed and neither was Castle Oblivion. Though they don't really cover what happened to them.
Xenree breathed easier as the blade was torn free of her. Her blood splattering Renee. Xenree used that time to open a dark corridor in the wall behind her. "Farewell, my lovely Dark Princess. Perhaps we will meet again and continue this game of yours. I'm simply dying to know how it ends." she gave a soft chuckle at her own joke and backed into the portal, letting it close around her. Renee panted, wiping off the blood from her face. "Blood black as the shadows that created it. That girl is simply filthy, calling me a Dark Princess. I am still a Princess of Heart." Renee released her Keyblade and slumped against Raoxthu. "Why must she trouble me so?" Akii felt tears well up in her eyes before they spilt over her cheeks. Snifles shaking her delicate shoulders. Zexion curled her into his chest. "M-m-momma left me again!" she wailed just like the child she was. Her little fists bunched the cloth of Zexion's Organization XIII coat.
Xenree suppressed a pained cry from all the pulling at the object lodged in her chest and laughed a short, curt laugh, "I do not wish for emotions. I have no need of such things." Renee bit her lip, her fear ebbing before Xenree pushed the Keyblade further into her chest. A spike of fear jolted Renee and she stared at the black blood pooling around her feet. "Raoxthu, get her off! I don't want to play the game like this!" Xenree had slid her body up on the Keyblade far enough that her breath caressed Renee's cheek, "I rather like you like this. It's much better than that wimp you called yourself before. I smell sweat on you and the scent of Raoxthu. Good to know that the new you can devulge in her own pleasures."
Xenree simply smiled as Renee leveled her Keyblade with Xenree's heart. The tip of the Key touching her chest, "Such emotions are for those with hearts. Hate, jealousy, all that is not what you, a Nobody, deserves." Renee pushed the Keyblade through Xenree's chest and into the wall behind her. Xenree's silver eyes widened, not in shock or pain, but in an insane joy. Her smile burst into a full grin, stretching across her face with wild enthusiasm. She pulled away from the wall, moving Keyblade with her and forcing Renee to take a step backwards. "You think I have a heart?" she spoke with a barely contained laugh in her voice, "Stupid child! I have no heart! There is nothing left inside of me but darkness!" Renee tried to jerk her Keyblade free but it stuck inside Xenree. Black blood started to drip from the wound, pooling at her feet. "You think I'd choose to feel anything at all? Anger, hate, they're emotions I'd welcome!" anger colored her voice and narrowed her eyes as she took hold of Renee's Keyblade near the hilt. Fear filled Renee's brown eyes, "N-no! Let go of my Keyblade!"
Ash shrugged, "Don't waste your emotions on me. What matters is that I protect you as a Reaper and you do the best to your abilities. Emotion would get in the way of all that. If I cannot protect...the only thing I can do is destroy. I'm certain I'd feel like less than trash if I lowered myself to destroying everything I saw." He thought about her words and felt his curiosity pique. Though it did not last long. Ash glanced up at her as she fell silent. "Forgive me, I spoke out of turn. It is not my place to question what you believe is best for me and yourself. You are, after all, the one who has to fight the most. If you wish to care about me...and wish I would do the same....then your wish is my command." He wouldn't know how to uphold his end of the promise, but the word 'try' engraved itself into his head.
Renee hopped off Raoxthu's back and smiled at her Nobody, "Hello again, Xenree. Remember me? The girl you cut with that foul blade of yours?" Her dark Keyblade flashed into her hand. Xenree looked up from Akii to Renee with mild interest, "Oh? You're still alive? How unfortunate for me." Her eyes closed and a small smile cracked her icy composition. Laughter bubbled from her lips. An insane laughter. Akii hugged her tighter, "Momma, stop this. I don't want to see this happen anymore. I'm frightened." Xenree shoved the little girl away from her, only to have Zexion catch her. "I have no children. None that would be so soft hearted and weak like you, Akira! The child I created was strong and emotionless! Not a snivling brat like you!" Akii started to cry and Renee's hand patted her head, "Don't cry. Xenree's just being stubborn and jealous that she has no one and we seem to have all the love and pleasures she wishes for." Xenree's silver eyes flashed a moment of hate, "Why would I wish for love?" Renee snapped her fingers for Raoxthu to restrain her.
Renee licked his ear and kept a watchful eye out for Xenree. Xenree stopped and relaxed with her back against a wall. "Is cornering a girl something you all like to do in your spare time, or is there another reason for keeping me here?" She watched as her arm was restored to it's former self. Akii took a cautious step forward and realizing Xenree wasn't going anywhere, she ran to her, wrapping her arms around her waist. "Momma!" A look of frustration and hatred crossed Xenree's face as she let the little girl hug her. The Organization panted as they caught up and stared at Akii hugging Xenree.
Ash stopped again in his step and stared at the ground. His pale eyes were blank. "Do...what I wan to do...?" Closing his eyes he stared into the darkness that were his mind. Darkness...is that all that's left of my memories...? Nothing but...darkness... Opening his eyes again, he continued on, slightly behind Kegan, "You forget who you're talking to. I cannot smile, I cannot enjoy myself. I simply cannot feel it. Following the rules is all that keeps me here. I'm sure I'd have done something drastic if I did not follow the rules."
Renee laughed lightly and climbed onto his back, "Always the ever considerate love, aren't you." Her fingers toyed with the hem of his shirt, slipping down to touch his chest. Xenree's form wavered as she hurried down the halls. Options flying through her head as she ran. She flashed a smile behind her at Samantha and True Kenneth, but the smile faded rather quickly as she saw Akii hurrying beside Zexion and Roxas. Persistent, isn't she? Glancing down at her healing arm, she knew summoning a dark corridor wasn't an option right now. Not like this. The Organization stopped in front of Xenree. "STOP!" they cried in unison. Xenree placed a hand on the floor and somersaulted over them, landing firmly on her feet and taking off again.
Xenree caught True Kenneth's leg in mid-spin-kick and glanced behind her at the small silver haired girl. Her face morphed into one of disgust and horror, "N-no...not here too..." Throwing True Kenneth to the ground rather roughly, she bolted past Samantha and disappeared down the hallway. Akii started after her as fast as her little legs could carry her. "Momma, wait!" Renee stood, pulling her dress back over her head and tipped Raoxthu's chin up. She felt a twinge run through her and frowned, "Come along, Raoxthu. Xenree is paying this ship a visit and I have important matters to discuss with my dear Nobody. Asist me in finding her, won't you."
True Kenneth's magic dissolved into Xenree's wall of darkness and she examined her gloved finger nails, "No...I could say a lot more, save for the fact that the simple word 'woof' is my cue of calling my beloved Heartless and the Fakes are just an added bonus." A laugh entered her voice as she spoke. It was as if this was a perfectly normal conversation discussing buisness. "Perhaps you'd like to do more of the talking...True Kenneth." Akii ran down the halls, Zexion and Roxas protecting her from the Heartless and Fakes. She stopped when she spotted Xenree, "MOMMA!" her little cry took it's time reaching Xenree's ears.
Xenree skidded to a stop, her silver eyes emotionless. She lifted her chin and smiled, a fanged smile. "...Woof." A hoard of Fakes and Heartless poured into the ship, killing whoever got in their way. X moved through the halls as easily as Xenree did. Aqua having followed Riku and Terra following her. Roxas rounded a corner and collided with Zexion. Akii giggled and glanced around, sniffing at the air, "Momma's not this way either. Where could she have gone?" Renee stood, pulling her dress back down over her head and felt a twinge run through her. "Xenree's here. I'd very much like to thank her for my new scar, Raoxthu. Come. We have buisness to attend to with my Nobody."
The Organization backed away slowly as X picked her up and tucked her on one arm, his other hand reaching for her neck. "Give her no quarter." His hand rested on her neck briefly before moving to start to twist her neck as if to snap her neck. Xenree's eyes flew open, like silver stars blinking on. She flipped out of his grip and spun herself around. Landing her knees on X's shoulders, her gloved hands on his neck. She moved to snap his neck and again X vanished and reappeared behind her, restraining her arms. He didn't speak and Xemnas knelt in front of her, "Xenree? Are you home?" She snarled, pulling her own vanishing trick and disappearing from X's grip. Her laughter echoed down the hallways. "Come find me, if you can." she taunted. The Organization dashed down the halls; Xemnas shouting orders, "Find her! Do not harm my precious one! If she kills, it's on your heads!" Xand Aqua simply sighed. "She never gives up does she?"
The doctor clucked over Zain's wound and quickly assessed the damage, "This wound is very unusual. How on earth did he get it?" Zero scowled and Callen explained, "It was an accident. He was trying to reach something from the top of the cabinet and he fell. Glass cut his shoulder." The doctor gave him a doubtful look but continued to examine his wounds. "They look like bite marks. Did a dog get him?"
Zero picked Zain up and sighed, "Zain's not going to like that. We should get him to a doctor. I think these wounds shouldn't give away too much. We're all a little spent." he said as Callen came up behind him and cautiously laid a hand on Zero's shoulder.
The shadow growled and cartwheeled backwards away from Yuki's power and kept Ari in it's arms. "You want her? Give up the research notes for the creation of others like them and kill the weapon shadows. Nicholi and Zero do not belong in a world like this." He disappeared along with the others and the dead ones melted into sand on the street. Zero calmed down and returned to the living room with Callen, "Where's Ari?"
