Michael went dragoon before turning to his soldiers. "Summon your courage, men! Show them no mercy, for you will be given none in return!" He pointed his sword forward and shouted, "Charge!"
"I guess the enemy didn't want to wait that long."
Michael summoned his sword. "Looks like we're starting early."
"Of course you would make a good general, Kai. Don't underestimate yourself like that." Michael turned to Geryl. "What do you mean 'shifting'?"
"She promised she would, although I'm kind of dreading seeing that obnoxious little toad again."
"I'm a man of my word. If this damn war hadn't have come up, though, we would have been married sooner."
"Come on, Kai. They'll need to know how to handle a sword one day, anyway."
"You're right, Kai. I must be strong to lead the keldon through these dark times. This isn't a time for weakness. We will win this war, I know it."
Michael stopped playing after a while and sighed. "I worry for our people, Kai. We may very well be marching to our deaths.....Some king I'm turning out to be."
Michael sat on the ground after ordering the troops to rest. "No sign of the enemy yet." He pulled out his flute and played a somber melody on it.
OOC: We could, but it shouldn't be an all out war yet. Maybe a few skirmishes here and there to keep the coalition force on their toes.
"How soon do you think we can win this battle, Sophia?" Michael asked as he flew next to her.
"Alright, we head southwest." Michael turned to his men. "All companies, move out!" He yelled to them. The keldon forces began to march.
Michael sat down and went deep into thought. "What's wrong?" The Jade dragon asked him. "Just concerned, that's all. This war came up so suddenly..... "Pre-war jitters, you'll get over it quick."
The keldon general walked up to Michael. "All of our troops are ready, my lord. They await your command." "Good, we shall wait until the teraw are ready, then we march to the southwest to meet our enemy." "Aye, sir."
OOC: Guess I'll start us out, then. Michael stood and looked at the armies that had been gathered. "We stand on the eve of battle. I pray to the wind gods to guide us to victory. Why must the road to peace be paved in blood?"
"We had finish preparations for the battle ahead."
"I know exactly what you went through, Dante. When I was younger, some humans had attacked me and left me for dead, floating in a lake. Believe me, though, I will make sure nothing like that will ever happen again." Michael said as he held Kai close to him.
OOC: Might as well, so no one gets confused.
OOC: Thanks! Now we wait for the others.
