Even if he is indeed 16-17 years old in Japan, I really doubt that will be the case for the Western dub (keeping him at 10, or whatever his age is in the dubbed anime right now). Like GhettoXemnas said, the anime really needs a reboot. Or if not a reboot, then at least switch to a character in the same universe who's met Ash before (personally, I'd love to watch the anime if Gary Oak was the new main protagonist). Bottom line, I doubt Ash will actually accomplish anything in this new season (if history's anything to go by), and I'd rather just stick to the games, at least until the anime goes back to the former glory it once was in its early days.

~Arcade~ Kevin Flynn noticed Histoire and the others playing in his arcade. Checking on the time, Flynn realized it was getting late (1:51 a.m. to be exact). While his arcade was open 24/7, he was wondering if Histoire and her acquaintances knew what time it was. "Y'all do know it's getting late, right?" Kevin Flynn asked his customers.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with Kingdom Hearts going multiplatform. If anything, I see it as a great benefit for the franchise.
