At least the 3DS XL actually looked like something to be played with. This... thing... looks more like something I'd find at a Home Depot.

DISCLAIMER: I'm actually a huge 3DS fan, and consider it one of the best portable devices out there. But this is something I can't defend.
Oh I've got nothing against having a 3D-less model for kids. The issue here is Nintendo designed a door stopper instead of an actual portable device.
