~Nintendo High: Al Mualim's Office~ Before Palutena could answer, Al Mualim noticed Kazu barge in to his office, interrupting him and Palutena. Al Mualim simply cleared his throat, and with a stern look on his face, pointed to the door, signaling to Kazu that he is busy right now, and that the boy needs to wait outside until Palutena's done. ---------------------------------------------- Spoiler ~Flashback - 1 Year Ago: Secret JIA Facility in Antarctica~ Spoiler BGM "Where am I?" Mewtwo thought to himself. Opening his eyes, he found himself inside a test tube of some sort, with several people outside, watching him. "Doctor, he's waking up... Signs show no intention of resisting... Heh, maybe Harold Saxon was onto something after all when he proposed this project... Finally, a Mewtwo that is obedient... The Crystal Order won't stand a chance with him on our side... Yeah, and let's not forget those Rangers, Riders, and Gokaigers that started appearing last week... The tide may finally be turning..." said all the different voices that Mewtwo kept hearing from the outside. "Who are these people?" Mewtwo thought to himself again. Suddenly, he felt other presences approaching the facility. The lights started flickering, the ground started shaking, and before he knew it, Mewtwo noticed four figures teleport to the facility's interior... It was members of the Crystal Order, including the top two in command, Al Mualim, and Haytham Kenway. The scientists in the facility were surprised, and started to panic. Haytham and Charles Lee, carrying AK-47s, started to shoot at all the scientists, killing as many as they can. Once all the scientists were killed, Al Mualim walked towards Mewtwo, who was still inside the test tube. "Who are you?" Mewtwo asked Al Mualim, communicating with him telepathically. A group of security guards suddenly rushed from the other side of the facility, with their guns pointed at the Crystal Order members. Smiling, Al Mualim replied to Mewtwo, simply saying "Your liberator." The Crystal Order's leader then faced the security guards. As the security guards were about to shoot, Al Mualim's eyes and hands began to glow. Raising his hands up, all the security guards were raised from the floor, floating about two feet above the ground, with their hands grabbing their necks, as though they were being choked. Al Mualim then closed both of his fists, killing all the security guards, all choked to death. Al Mualim then turned his attention back to Mewtwo, who was shocked at what he had saw. "Why did you kill them all," Mewtwo asked. "Because they intended to use you for their evil purposes," Al Mualim answered. "I... don't understand..." Mewtwo replied. "You are one of few Mewtwos cloned from the gene of the Pokemon Mew. The people here sought to create you in order to use you to continue with the evil that is already corrupting our world," Al Mualim explained. "The world is... corrupt? And they intended to use me as a slave to continue with this corruption?" Mewtwo questioned. "Precisely," Al Mualim replied, "My order, on the other hand, has been combatting the world's evils for some time now. I was hoping you may join us in our fight." Mewtwo pondered for a minute, and then broke the glass around him with his psychic energy, freeing himself. He then told Al Mualim, "Show me." Al Mualim nodded, and summoned Mewtwo to join with him, Haytham, and Discord, who gathered up closely together. Mewtwo joined them, and noticed Charles Lee detonating a bomb that was set to blow up in 10 seconds. He rushed towards the others, and Discord then teleported them all out of the facility. 10 seconds later, the entire facility blew up, leaving no traces of what had happened.
Warning, I am about to go on a big rant right now, because this is an issue that hits me close to home, so if I sound tense in my post, I am sorry. First off, let me talk about myself. My family's from Lebanon, which is a country that borders Syria to the West. I consider the Syrians to be brothers of mine, separated only by a border placed by France after they took over our land after WW1. Now while I certainly do believe that Syrians and Lebanese, like myself, share a strong kinship, there was something bad about the regime that has ruled Syria for decades now. The Syrian government has been screwing up with my country for far too long, supporting terrorists that mess up Lebanon, assassinating Lebanese political figures and journalists as though they were old toys to just throw away, and influencing certain officials running Lebanon. So yeah, my country was being used by the Syrian regime like a f***ing toy to f***ing play with, with many deaths resulting from that interference. However, two years ago, the Syrian people finally started to rise up against their dictator, Bashar Assad (one of the very few people in the world I wouldn't feel sorry for if something bad were to happen to him), and demand freedom. And that there is what started the Syrian Civil War that is still being fought. I stand with the rebels in their fight, and hope to one day see them victorious against the evil that has ruled their country for decades, when we can finally embrace each other without the other country meddling in my country's affairs. Now to the war itself. I actually watch news broadcasts from the Middle East, so I know what's happening every day. But every day, I keep seeing more and more deaths in Syria. The Syrian regime is purposely killing civilians, trying to attack the rebels' morale. Every f***ing day, I see dead women and children, hospitals full of body bags, and btw, this is before all the chemical weapons were used. So when I heard about the chemical weapons being used, that was the last f***ing straw for me. I couldn't take it anymore. No government that kills its own civilians deserves to keep ruling. It just f***ing pisses me off that it took f***ing chemical weapons for the whole f***ing world to finally pay attention to Syria rather than discuss pointless s*** like Miley F***ing Cyrus at the F***ing VMA Awards!!! So excuse me for supporting a full invasion by the U.S. of Syria, because clearly, the Assad regime needs to be taught a permanent lesson, because at this point, diplomacy is F***ING USELESS!!! I sincerely hope America finally does something right in the world and puts an end to Bashar Al Assad once and for all. And before you accuse me of being a war hawk, let me just say that I was one of the biggest critics of the Iraq War in 2003. But this isn't 2003, this is 2013! Times have changed, and for once, I actually think force is actually necessary!
Ok .
Al Mualim's busy with Palutena. Kazu is going to have to wait for his turn.
Amaury yelling at Plums.... There's something you don't see everyday.
Ernesto .
This is just tragic. I feel bad for everyone. The kids' family, the boy, and the girl (God rest her soul). I just hope that they could all get through this tragedy.
Itachi was a great guy to rp with. Not sure why he left.
Voting for my man, NutheadBros. Went from a random guy I met at an rp to creating the best roleplay in the arena, and a good friend.
