"You're right. Let's head back then."
"Is there anything you want to do while we're here, or do you just want to go back now? We've got plenty of time until sunset."
"What did you find out?" Koza asked as he walked up to Maiko.
"Got it. I'll see you later."
"I can't do that. If we get too far apart, the demon in Murasame will awaken, remember? I'll wait for you in the town square."
ooc: It's not too late. Feel free to make a character. bic: "I suppose not. Try not to stay gone too long. I want to get back to the farm before sundown."
"I know you'll be able to find a lot more than I'll be able to."
"We've got no idea where they are, though."
"That's the best idea I've heard all day."
"What family? I don't remember being attached to any big family. I just remember my dear sister."
"For now, let's head back to the plantation. I have to tell the workers that they own the farm now."
Koza sold the deed to the land which was in the casket of scrolls they took from the house. "That land was worth more than I thought it was." He said to Maiko as he pocketed half of the money, handing the rest to her.
"You're right. Now let's go sell the land and be done with this place."
Koza started lighting another part of the house aflame. "Goodbye, home of broken dreams."
"Let's get to it." Koza said as he haded her a lit torch and lit one for himself.
"Rebelling abainst our non-existant parents. This is going to be fun."
"I'll light us some torches so we can both get some satisfaction out of this."
"We should, being the farce that it is."
"The story of someone claiming to be related to us, but in fact having no connection to us what so ever. We ought to publish it."
"Then you hold on to it." Koza said as he handed her the journal.
