Hattori left the office and a nurse walked up behind him, nearly startling him. "What is it?" "You haven't by chance seen patient 319, have you, doctor?" "I'm afraid not. Has he gotten out of his room?" "That and attacked some doctors and security guards." "Thanks for letting me know about it. I'll keep my eye out." He said before turning and leaving." So they're still looking for me. At least my disguise has them fooled.
This seems interesting. I'll take Sora, and why so serious?
Hattori ducked behind a desk and knocked out a doctor that was standing near it. He quickly took his clothes. "A little big, but the price was right." "Get a move on, Hattori. We don't have time to be fooling around here." Hattori quickly changed and grabbed a medical mask and put it on. "Now maybe they won't be able to recognize me."
Hattori quickly knocked out the guards. "Hattori, there's something you need to know." "Can't it wait?" "I'm afraid not." "Then what is it?" "You do realize you're still in a hospital gown, right?" "No wonder it was so drafty."
Several guards surrounded Hattori. Nakim dispersed them with a blast of water as Hattori drew his scythe. "You're not really planning on using that on humans, are you Hattori?" "What, are you trying to make me sound evil, Nakim? I'm not gonna kill anyone if that's what you're asking me."
Hattori started fighting with the guards in the main lobby after breaking loose from their grip. "These guys just don't give up!"
The guards caught up to Hattori and grabbed him. "Get your hands off me!"
"That would be the group of four I told you about." Nakim said as he pointed at a car. "Think we should warn them about the doctors?" "I don't think so. If I get anywhere near the main door of the hospital, the guards'll be coming after me again, and the group might get the wrong idea." "Well don't look now, but the guards are coming!" Hattori started running and ended up back in the hospital.
Time to move. Hattori thought as he rushed from the room and ducked out an emergency exit. "I knew that doctor was up to something. Severe injury, my butt. I feel fit as a fiddle." "Says you. Now stop talking and get moving."
Hattori ducked behind a desk to keep from being seen. He saw some guards run by as they looked for him.
Hattori made it down to the ground floor and ran into a group of doctors. "Stop him!" one of the doctors said before getting hit with a wall of water.
"The other one just got outside." "Told you he didn't need our help. Now let's get out of here ourselves." Two guards approached and tried to bar Hattoris path. "Oh please, you think you two idiots can stop me. Do your stuff, Nakim." Nakim sent a wave of water at the guards and slammed them against the wall, knocking them out.
"There are other users nearby." Hattori sighed. "How many?" "One here in the hospital, five are approaching. The group of four that's closest to the outside are unfamiliar to me and the one furtherest away is Mr. K." "What about the one in here with me?" "We've run into him before. You think we should help him out?" "Nah, he can help himself."
"Hattori, wake up. It's time to go." Hattori yawned. "It's about time." He said as he started unhooking the monitors and pulled his IV out. "Hurry Hattori, they're coming!" "Don't rush me, Nakim. I'm still sore." One of the nurses entered the room and was about to call for the guards before Hattori knocked her out. "You could have been a little gentler." Hattori hooked the monitors up to the nurse to make sure no one else was alerted.
Nakim kept watch over Hattori as he slept. He listened at the door every so often to make sure nobody was coming.
"What time is it, Nakim?" "It's only mid-day." "I'm gonna take a nap. Wake me when it's nighttime, or if those doctors try something funny." "Can do, boss."
"I wish there was something to do here. Hospitals are always so boring, and cold." Hattori said as he started playing with the controls to the bed.
Hattori looked around the room and noticed his backpack in the corner. Idiots....At least I've got acess to my weapons if I have to fight my way out.
"Am I good to go home now?" "I'm afraid not. Your injury was pretty bad, so we'll need to keep you here overnight for observation. If you need anything, don't hesitate to call." The doctor said before leaving. "Something's not right here, Hattori." "My sentiments exactly. We've got to get out of here tonight." "What do you think is going on?" "My guess is they noticed you and want to experiment on me. I'm not giving them the opportunity for that. As soon as night falls, I'll slip out the window. Until then, you stay hidden, Nakim."
Hattori arrived at the hospital and collapsed in the emergency room. He was quickly rushed to a doctor and soon woke up in a small room and saw a doctor staring at him. "Where am I?" "You're in the hospital, kid. You're pretty lucky to be alive, as one of your ribs punctured your lung. What happened to you, kid?" "You wouldn't believe me if I told you."
