"Hopefully your amnesia will pass soon. By the way, how are your wounds feeling, Arisa?"
"Thankfully, gramps left Hattori all of his inheritance and the house so he would be able to take care of himself. His drunkard of a father comes by every now and then to beg for money. His parents tried to convince him to live with them again, but when he found out that all they wanted was the money, he told them he never wanted to see them again. Their greed sickened him, and frankly it made me sick too. After all, they threw him out because he had a persona, and they would have threw him out again once they got their hands on the inheritance."
"Definately. After his parents threw him out, he swore he would never trust anyone that who don't have a persona. He went as far as to cut all ties with his family by changing his last name, as he felt his grandpa was the only family he really had."
"Hattori's grandpa had a persona too. Gramps died a few years back though. You see, when Hattori was seven, he was attacked by demons when he was at the beach. I had to help him out. But when his parents saw Hattori using my powers, they threw him out. Gramps took him in and raised him."
Hattori unlocked the door to the house and stepped inside. "Keep them company for a while, Nakim. I've got to go talk to grandpa." "Alright. Tell him I said hi."
Hattori parked the car in his driveway. "Here we are. We better get inside, just in case those things are lurking about."
"Those things seem to be backing off. We should be safe at my house."
"Trust me, I won't crash. Help him out, Nakim." "Can do, boss." Nakim said before launching bursts of water at the approaching shadows.
"Thankfully my house isn't too far away."
Hattori started the engine and floored it.
"At least those demons aren't following us."
"I was hoping to be able to get this car and my motorcycle home, but I guess I'll come back for it later. Hurry and get in." "Don't worry, you're in good hands."
OOC: Hattori went back to the hospital to get Arisa and now them and Shinji are escaping from the mutated staff and demons.
"Can either of you drive a car?"
ooc: Never stand between a man and love. Hattori reached in his pocket for his keys and found another set. "What do these go to?" He asked himself as he pushed the red button on the remote and set off an alarm. "Looks like I got a new car." Hattori looked at Shinji. "You know how to drive?"
"Time to get moving."
"Geez, you're even rasher than Hattori is. Hold still and I'll patch you up." Nakim said before using a healing spell on Shinji.
"We've got to get out of here before we get overwhelmed." "I'll let the others know to stick close to you. No point in letting other users get swept away by the currents."
Hattori noticed more of the mutated hospital staff behind him. He swund his scythe in a wide arc in front of him and launched a wave of water at them. ooc: Back in a few minutes.
"Don't shoot! I'm human!" "As human as a user can be. Pull your scythe out of the wall, dummy." "I can't, it's stuck." Nakim sighed. "I have to do everything, don't I?" Nakim touched the scythe and it turned into water. Once all the water fell to the floor, it reformed into the scythe. "How'd you do that?" "No time for explanations, we've got more important matters on our hands."
