Roxas, Xion and Axel sat in front of Oriaon listening to her tell a long historical story. It was starting to put them to sleep. Oriaon's anger mounted as their heads drooped to their chests and the four-headed dragon roared, "YOU DARE TO SLEEP WHILE I AM SPEAKING!?" Xenree didn't like Xoram's words, they made her nervous. Standing back to back with the Beast, she kept the Heartless at bay with him. "Well, hurry it up!"
Xenree saw right through her friend. Laughing until her shoulder ached, she lightly rested her hand on his shoulder, "You have my word." She gave him her best puppy dog face and suppressed her smile, "Though honestly, we should save speaking for after the battles." she said, jerking her head toward the remaining Heartless.
Mickey's carefree smile returned, "Welp, I guess we'd have to find the Door to Fate. But that door doesn't stay in one place and the place it goes every other year doesn't techincally exist." Aqua and Terra face palmed as they watched Mickey talk so freely about it and act as if he didn't care. Xion, Roxas and Axel pushed open the door and stared at a young blonde girl sitting astride of a four-headed dragon. Each head was different and more frightening than the last. She smiled down at them and brushed blonde hair from her blank black eyes, "You must be Xion, Roxas and Axel. My it's been so long since I've seen Keyblade wielders....and you Lea. Oh, how rude. I'm Oriaon. Lady-in-waiting of the Fates. You've met Bellatrix and Aella, and I'm glad you're not as hostile as the other Keyblade Bearers I've met. Oh, but I suppose you haven't seen Xenree, Vanitas and Renee. No...they returned moments after I found you all and took you into my care."
Mickey nodded slowly and lowered his head as if the knowledge shamed him, "Bellatrix is one of the warriors of a Lady-in-waiting of Fate. Oriaon...or as you all may know her, Orion, the constellation. Her warriors, Bellatrix, the Female Warrior; Aella, the Stormwind; and Dina, the Sea Warrior. Each stronger than the other and yet the last has never been seen. I've been told Bellatrix is the strongest and Dina is the weakest, but no one's ever seen Dina before. Roxas is with the Woman of Fates. Be glad he has not met a Fate herself. As long as the sky is clear, Oriaon will remain kind." he finished, glancing out a window toward the sky. Bellatrix stopped in front of a large, engraved door. "This is where I leave you. Keyblade Bearers of Light, Xion and Roxas and the Flaming Furry, Axel...beyond this door lies a lady-in-waiting of a Fate. Test her patience and you'll find yourself at odds with Fate. Her name cannot be spoken by her guardians, I, Aella and Dina, as we have not been gifted free will." Roxas blinked and stared at the door and Xion grew impatient, "Alright then. We'll just have a chat with your Lady. C'mon guys!"
xenree felt a wave of vertigo hit her from the spell and the use of darkness again. Hmm, three times in one day....perhaps I'm just not used to it yet. Wavering on her feet, Xenree cast a more advanced spell of Seeker Mine and let the moving explosions take care of the frozen Heartless.
Roxas thought back to his Egg, Well considering that I've been kidnapped by some crazy lady. Her name is Bellatrix, Axel knows her. I think the King may know her too. Would you ask him for me? I'll find out what I can while I'm here...where ever here is. Bellatrix stopped beside a woman with white blonde hair and a breezy smile. "The Lady would like you to fetch those in the Keyblade Graveyard." The woman smiled easily, "Hey, it's cool. Not like those chums have much fight left in them." Bellatrix sighed as the blonde walked past, "Aella, don't underestimate them. Vanitas dropped to the ground, unconscious from X's attacks and even the strange hooded X sat down to rest. The glittering Centurion's cores disappeared into X's coat. Xion slid down the door, broken and mournful. "Oh....we're going to die in this place..." Roxas sighed and the door opened, making Xion fall backwards. A beautiful woman with silver hair and sharp dark brown eyes glared down at her, "Get up. You three are coming with me." "Where are we going?" The woman remained silent and Axel stood, pulling Roxas up with him, "Nice to see you again, Bellatrix. Been a while." Bellatrix remained stony and turned on her spiked heel and beckoned for them to follow. Pushing herself up, Xenree winced, "Okay as I'll ever be." Shooting a sationary Blizzaga into the ground, it exploded and froze several Heartless.
Xion banged repeatedly on the huge metal door locking her, Roxas and Axel inside a small room. "HEY, let us outta here! Hey are you listening to me?! HEY!" Roxas sighed, sitting down on the ground, "Give it a rest Xion. They're not going to let us out of here. We're trapped. I can't believe I just blacked out like that in Xenree's castle. How long have we been in here?" Axel remained silent, he knew exactly was was going on with everyone else. But his secrets would remain his own.
Claire smiled broadly, "Actually, I was going to ask you if you needed some help. I'd heard the High Summoner had taken up sphere hunting. You're here for this sphere aren't you?" Devln pulled down his sunglasses and winked one shimmery green eye at Kari, "Just a precaution among the people. Not all of us are so lucky not to encounter Al Bhed haters that remain in the world." Pushing them back up, he jerked his head toward the blockade, "You won't be getting through there. They've blocked all the main roads because of this sphere."
Akira stared open mouthed at Leo and Ryou. Leo was going to attack Omega just like that? Again? it was probably a good thing that Ryou had stopped him. He would've gotten himself killed. l'Cie or not, Leo couldn't handle a Crystal l'Cie by himself. Lightning frowned, though it was her usual expression, she lowered her gunblade, "And why not? Who is he?" she asked, glancing from Omega to the boy. He won't answer questions about himself? Is there something wrong with him? A small stirring of sympathy thrummed in her heart as she remembered Hope, unwilling to talk much about his father at first or not talk at all. Hope had been a follow at your heels type of boy and she'd helped him spread his wings....now he was gone forever.
Xenree fell flat as Renee was removed as her support keeping her up. Vanitas cursed loudly and turned his wild eyes on some invisible foe. X materialized out of nothing as Void Gear struck at him. Several glittering orbs rotated around him, each bearing a different symbol. He shook his finger at Vanitas and the red orb stopped in front of him, a large Firaga bursted from it's glittering surface. Renee closed her eyes as she relaxed into Raoxthu. "That place.....I could've sworn I saw it..... Raoxthu....the end of the Dark Realm ends....with Xenree....." she passed out after her cryptic words. In fact, the Dark Realm didn't exist. It was everything and nothing. Renee's words didn't make sense.
Xenree dragged herself into a more sutable position to drink the elixer. She felt her energy return, though her shoulder still ached. "Thanks." she croaked. Her black angelic wings faded back into the dark markings on her back and though her eyes were half closed, she resummoned her Keyblade back to her hand.
Devln wore sunglasses to hide his Al Bhed eyes as he led Claire through the forest, encountering a blockade of men, "Hm? What's the big idea!? You guys can't just block the roads for a sphere!" Claire pulled on his arm, "C'mon, we can go around them." Looking behind her she saw Yuna and the others, "Devln....it's the High Summoner Yuna. Never mind the sphere for now, we'll get it later." Waving, she beckoned Yuna and the Gullwings toward her.
Xenree smiled kindly even as she dropped to her knees, blinking the fog from her vision. "Never you mind....about me...." she panted, dropping face first into the ground. The exhaustion from her fights earlier had taken the strength she'd needed to keep herself from passing out from blood loss. Oh, this isn't good. she thought, resenting herself for being weak.
Renee felt tears fall down her cheeks as she and Xenree turned to look at Raoxthu. "What the...? YOU!" Renee smiled, her arms shaking and Xenree swaying on her feet, "Yes....oh, please yes!" Xenree opened her mouth to object when she felt Vanitas' plate of ground strike her back, knocking her forward onto Renee.
Renee quickly lifted her new Keyblade, "Do what you will. I won't.....do something....that you say is right..." Xenree warped in front of her and weakly brought Dark Void down on her Keyblade. "I'm not asking you to! I'm commanding you as your Nobody and superior!" Renee's eyes glittered with laughter, "Superior!? That's ridiculous!" Vanitas charged forward, dragging Void Gear in the dirt and pulling up a plate of earth aimed at Renee and Xenree. He no longer cared if Xenree got hurt, "Filthy Half-Light!" Renee felt her strength fade, Xenree's keyblade edged closer to her face and now the plate of earth coming toward her. "Raoxthu...."
Akira stifled a scream as they fell and bent her knees as they fell. Landing unsteadily, she wobbled and fell. Looking shyly up at Grey, she glanced quickly away before meeting his eyes. Frady cat! she scolded herself. Lighting grabbed Mia as Dahaka tipped them over board. Snapping her fingers again, she let the blue electricity spread over them and landed safely with Mia. She glanced at Snow's bandanna, feeling a pang of sorrow in her heart. Swallowing, she shook her head silently and closed Mia's hand around it, "Keep it for now. You need it more than I do. I know Snow would never let Serah stay missing and give up. He'll be back and he'll want to see all of us stronger. Mia...keep it. Snow'll come to you for it first." Lightning turned her gaze on the new boy and questioned his silence, "Again, I'll ask your name." Her gunblade unlocked in her hand and she held it pointed at him, "Name or death. Your choice."
