~Crystal Order HQ: Rassilon's Office~



Believing his mission to be over for the day, Discord teleported back to the Crystal Order headquarters (Rassilon's office to be more precise). Discord saw Rassilon facing the televisions behind his desk, watching live coverage of the riots from a range of news networks from around the world. "Anything to report to me Discord?" the Crystal Order's No. 3 in command asked, seemingly knowing that Discord was in his room. "Well, I spied on this Alice Elliot girl like you told me," Discord replied. "And?" Rassilon asked once more. "And she just seems like an innocent girl. I didn't really notice anything strange about her today," Discord answered. "Very well. I want you to continue monitoring her everyday until I say enough," Rassilon said. "What?! But what is so important about her?" Discord asked. "That is none of your concern Discord," Rassilon replied, "As a member of the Crystal Order, did you not vow to follow any orders without question?" Discord didn't say a word, and simply nodded his head in agreement. "Good," Rassilon commented, "By the way, I hope you weren't troubled by the riots.""You planned for this to happen without telling anyone?" Discord asked. "The only ones who knew of this were myself, Haytham Kenway, Al Mualim, and his stepson Harold. Amazing, isn't it? One lunatic's voice could take advantage of people's feelings and convince an entire nation to rise up and riot. Civilizations have risen and fallen with moments like these. Yet, it does feel ironic. Frollo constantly says that those with powers are doomed to eternal damnation, yet after what happened today, I wouldn't be surprised if he himself had powers of his own," Rassilon commented. "Why did you guys even plan for this to happen? How would making people riot advance our goals?" Discord asked. Rassilon smirked, and replied, "That too is none of your concern. Dismissed." Discord then bowed, though he didn't feel like Rassilon deserved it, and teleported away...

~Crystal Order HQ: Mewtwo's Chamber~



Mewtwo was in his chamber, meditating as usual, which what he always did when he wasn't on a mission for the Crystal Order. He then sensed a presence suddenly appear in his chamber. It was Discord, one of the first individuals Mewtwo knew ever since he was born, as well as his friend...



"Mewtwo! Long time no see!" Discord greeted his friend. "Discord... I heard you were liberated yesterday by Kazari," Mewtwo said. "Yeah, sorry I wasn't able to talk to you as soon as I was rescued, but you know Rassilon, always sending me on missions," Discord replied, "I was sent to Africa to convince this queen and her tribe to join us. And just when I came back from that mission today, Rassilon sends me on yet another mission. He tells me to spy on this girl named Alice Elliot, and I have no clue why. But enough about me, what about you?" "I was sent to liberate an S-type named Lord Chilled. It was a rather simple task," Mewtwo replied. "Oh, how I wish I was in your place Mewtwo. Things back then were much more simpler. Missions were actually pretty easy, and I knew for sure what I was fighting for. Nowadays, I really don't know," Discord said. "What do you mean?" Mewtwo asked. "You ever wonder whether we're really fighting for the right cause, or whether we're just slaves fulfilling someone else's personal goals? Or why some stuff are kept a secret from us?" Discord asked. Mewtwo pondered for a moment, then said, "Well, it is true I sometimes question the Order's true intentions. But I have a feeling that once we succeed, then we will get all the answers we ask." "Yeah, I guess you're right," Discord replied.

While I'm aware it's not one of the more popular ones, I'm going with FFII (I only played Final Fantasies I-IV so far, plus the original Dissidia)
